Le Delicorner in Lambeth

Mi primera visita aquí aunque mi hija ha visitado. ¡Qué pequeño tesoro! ! La quiche hecha en casa se había derretido en la pasta de la boca y venía con una gran ensalada. Mi tetera de té vino con recargas gratis. El propietario es un hombre encantador y encantador que está dispuesto a conversar sobre la comida que prepara y su lugar en general y en la vida (¡con el acento más escuchable!). Uno de los lugares más acogedores en los que he estado. Una pena, esto es en el sur de Londres y vivo en Kent. Ojalá este gran restaurante estuviera al final de mi camino.

Bustling little cafe with a lovely menu and incredibly friendly staff. The poached eggs and smoked salmon is my favourite.

Mi tercera visita, pero casi 5 meses desde la última vez que pasó por la puerta principal. Me alegra poder decir, nada ha cambiado. La comida es excelente y el servicio eficiente, amable y ciertamente no agresivos.Fuimos para el desayuno especial (de nuevo) y fue genial, jugo de naranja, café delicioso, ligero crujiente cruasán y un rollo con el huevo escalfado y salchichas más perfecta a la parrilla. A 10 libras. 50 excelente relación calidad-precio para la calidad.Mi único comentario negativo es que este café restaurante es un poco demasiado lejos de mi casa o lugar de trabajo.

Mi pareja y yo metimos en un lugar de desayuno en la cafetería de distancia y lo escondido joya de lugar encontramos!El desayuno vegetariano era delicioso café perfectamente preparada y el era una delicia.El dueño era un tío muy alegre y simpático.

Estábamos a punto de conducir a la costa cuando mi hijo se detuvo en lo que parecía ser una urbanización y me dijo que nos íbamos a desayunar. A la vuelta de la esquina y literalmente en una esquina estaba esta cafetería sin pretensiones, pero escrupulosamente limpia, con un suelo y mesas de madera pulidos. La parte superior de la lista en el menú era un desayuno inglés completo a las 8. 50 libras incluyendo pan tostado con masa agria, huevo escalfado, hash brown, tomates y tocino rayado real con frijoles. No puedes resistirte a eso, y golpeó el lugar manteniéndonos hasta el almuerzo hasta las 3 p.m., aunque encontré el hash brown un poco grasiento, aunque quizás siempre lo haga. El té también era delicioso. Tienen otras opciones, incluido un desayuno vegetariano. Si estás en la zona, vale la pena una visita

difficult to beat the English breakfast. Great coffee too. Atmosphere by the bucketful. great reception and attention throughout. Cant wait to go back.

i have lived in Brixton for many years and really struggle to find a good quality breakfast place . This little gem hat does a clean, varied and well thought out selection. The other places in the area tend to be greasy or just slapped on a plate. This establishment takes pride in presentation which is refreshing seeing as it comes in at the same cost. I go for the vegan option everytime and it is so refreshing for a cafe to cater for both meat and non-meet eaters. The staff are super-friendly and the open kitchen feel with their music in the background makes you feel like you are in a very relaxed and dynamic environment. The pace seems to be a hotspot for all type for customers from families, to young professionals to locals and to visitors. I have actually had a few conversations with total strangers in there which is quite rare in London but it is that time of place. Great food and drink, friendly staff, relaxed environment and at a reasonable price. Is there anything else without being pretentious you want of need from a breakfast/brunch place. I am actually heading there now as writing this has made me want to go! You should try it too!

This is a great little cafe just off Brixton Hill. The food is excellent.. especially the hash browns, tomatoes and home made bread. The owner is really friendly and will go out of his way to give you what you want. Really nice cakes too!

Small place but a comfy cafe and the cakes are great. Bread is pricey but also good. Also has outdoor seating.

Esta es una de las joyas raras de Brixton.Escondido pero muy concurrida y la comida es increíble! A menudo ir allí para almuerzo y café con pastas.Stefan y su personal siempre fue muy amable y sin duda te hacen sentir bienvenido. Gran ventaja es que este lugar se aceptan perros! Gracias por estar allí para nosotros!

Ambiente encantador, acogedor personal, deliciosa y me refiero a un delicioso café (tuve un capuchino como he usado de vuelta a casa, feliz). Comida deliciosa también: probamos el sándwich de pasteles, tortillas y mozzarella. Ingredientes de alta calidad. También compramos algo de pan a casa, muy contentos con :) muy recomendable.

Me pasó de encontrar este lugar más cerca de mí que starbuck, así que nos fuimos para una copa rápida mientras tuviera la oportunidad. Acabé tomando té de jazmín, que luego pareció té cerdo!!!!

¡Qué gran lugar. He estado yendo durante los últimos 18 meses y la comida sigue siendo mejor ad mejor. El desayuno-almuerzo menú es increíble, debatably uno de los mejores que he probado en Londres, y sin duda la mejor relación calidad-precio. Los pasteles caseros recién hechos también son muy buenos, mis favoritos son las Bakewell tartas - si eres un fanático de Bakewells tienes que probar.

He ido varias veces para el brunch y es sin duda uno de los mejores que he tenido. Hay una verdadera centrado en ingredientes frescos y todo es casero de la pastelería es para los croquetas de patata. También me he tomado muchos amigos aquí...

We'd heard about this place and had our first visit today. Breakfast. I'm not usually a huge fan but this was amazing! I think Stephane cooks scrambled eggs better than anyone else on the planet! Really friendly, and the service relaxed but efficient. A great start to the day. Thank you Stephane and Maicin.

We had a late lunch and cake. The food and service were excellent and the place clean and pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff. A great asset to the area

Just go and try the freshly made pastries, or one of the sandwiches. Perfection. Amazing Union coffee too.

We live nearby and we are happy to have this bakery / coffee around. It is not on the high street, so the atmosphere is closer to a village shop where the owner knows you and engages conversation. The food is good. Nice tea pigs tea. The bread is very good. There are vegetarian options. I would recommend for a family !

Just found this place round the corner from me. So nice to have a decent coffee place within 5 mins walk for when I need that extra double espresso. They serve Union coffee here & have some nice pastries & cakes. I think they do brunch too but I didn't try it

My wife Jola and I visit this cafe on regular basis, merely for breakfast and we are always happy with the quality of food. It is fresh, creative and prepared with care.It is becoming our preferred local cafe and is a good meeting point. We recommend it highly and are seeing more and more regulars there.

We have lived up the road from this wee gem for the past 2 years. This vibrant, clean and tasty corner cafe has become our favourite weekend local. The staff are so friendly, the service is incredible and this has hands down - the BEST vegetarian full breakfast my husband and myself have ever had in London - not to mention reasonable. There is plenty to choose from (for all tastes) and it is always buzzing when we are there! Not only do they offer soy milk - but hazelnut and almond. It caters for everyone and the owner is super! Reminds me of a wonderful and flavoursome great cafe back home in NZ - a place hard to be topped- but this place (dare I say it) tops it!

I really like this place. The coffee and food are really nice but it has one big problem: too much smoke! Please put in an extractor fan! My clothes smell like burnt bacon!

I live on the same road and rarely walk past when it's not completely full. It's such a nice cafe to have at the end of the steet! Food is delicious. while the menu does seem to evolve quite a bit ive never not had a very good plate of food. I'm not a coffee drinker, except the coffee here is amazing and even bought some packs for home / as presents. When they're really busy you do feel that staff are a little stretched - but overall everything else makes up for that.

I've been going to Le DeliCorner since February and it's a favourite haunt for both me and my wife. Great food, super fresh juices and a team who are always cheery and friendly. To top it all there is an ever evolving menu meaning you get variety over time. A real treat, it's a delight that the cafe is just round the corner. Whenever we have visitors this is the first place we head for. My only disappointment is that I don't get to make it over there more.

We usually go to another coffee shop, but we decided to give this one a try once since we live close by. However, this Coffee Shop is a bit disappointing. It is extremely stuffy inside. It's not a place to enjoy coffee due to the smoke, (they are cooking bacon and sausages and there is not extractor fan.) It also doesn't feel clean, the sugar station was messy and dirty and they don’t use sanitary gloves either. We ordered 2 scramble eggs with meat, 2 orange juice and 2 black coffee, (24 pound btw) and then we waited and waited. In the course of an hour we drank our entire coffee and not once did anyone check with us. They are very disorganized and the manager was also screaming all the time. I would recommend going to one of the many better coffe shop in Brixton Village especially for food.

I live around the corner so come in often. The food is delicious! And I'm extra impressed with the coffee which is really good, especially considering I get mine with almond milk, so hats off to the skilled baristas.I find the service excellent, staff are friendly and accommodating. The chef and owner created a breakfast that catered to my housemates dietary restrictions, even cleaning the grill before he made it, and on a busy Sunday! I can understand the service may be slow sometimes (although I have never found it a problem) as it's a small kitchen and the cafe gets busy but hey if you want instant, choose fast food, otherwise be patient, it's worth it :-)

I have visited this place many times. I work on the same street. The food here is good. The service can be absolutely AWFUL! It's very up and down as staff seems to be very changeable. The owners are a couple, and the male owner has been INCREDIBLY rude to myself and colleagues. As an example, when asked if we could move a tAble round the corner out of the hot sun, I was told "that is the terrace" and completely disregarded (I.e-4 small tables and chairs). I'm so surprised of the positive reviews below about good service, it must be due to changing staff. Service can be terribly slow and I certainly can't eat there for lunch in my lunch hour, as it can take over 40 mins to make a sandwich, even when the cafe is really slow (I'm not exaggerating). Staff changes so much that coffee is up and down depending on who is working, this is a shame as there is very little in this area! I've decided to go to the builders caff right at the end up Brixton hill for the foreseeable future!!

Having moved to Brixton around 5 years ago, there has never been a more charming place to enjoy great quality breakfast, lunch and tea.I'm a regular since they opened 2 years ago and have never been let down…even though it can get very busy on weekends, the staff has always a friendly smile on their faces and go the extra mile to keep us guests happy!On another note I wanted to say thank you to the owners not only for their delicious food, but also for the positive impact they have had on the neighbourhood.Le Delicorner is not a soul-less coffee chain, but instead a revival of the coffee house culture where locals and visitors meet and converse in a friendly manner.Merci

Having just moved to the area I was pleased to find these guys around the corner from me. Excellent food and coffee and reasonable prices, and a charming decor. Only down side is it can be a little smokey due to poor ventilation in the kitchen, but I understand this is being remedied.

I have eaten here about 20 times and the last time was the last straw. When you walk in it isn't obvious if you sit and order or go to the counter. You then are told you can do either. You sit down, give your order (which is rarely written down), then they will come up to you a few times to check what you ordered as they have forgotten or made a mistake. So to avoid this I started going straight to the till. Once I went in with a large group, nearly everyone had a salad or a sandwich. They forgot what we ordered and had to ask us 5 times. Then it took an hour and half to bring it out. We complained and they didn't apologise and said "we have a small kitchen, you should have rang". The joke is.. We did ring in advance to warn them! Not once did they say it would take a long time as we were a large group. It was ridiculous. I still returned, stupidly. The food and juices literally take forever. The meal I always order, which is delicious, is scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and spinach (which used to come with a juice), is pretty pricey but I was willing. It takes around 20minutes to make. Then, last time, I ordered and it was £12! I enquired why it had gone up from the £8/9 I used to pay and was told it was the juice and was then told it was never included even though a small juice always before. Keeping in mind my juice had a fly swimming in it and I had to send it back and get a different juice altogether because the waiter told me "if you aren't happy with that juice you probably won't be happy with the next one so get a different juice". I paid and vowed never to return. The only person who is consistently kind is the female owner. She is lovely and if I ever did return I would only want to be served by her. The rest have all been rude at some point, including the male owner who once insisted that he'd given my friend a coffee for free when she had actually paid for it, which is just annoying.

I have visited a few times and each time is like returning to gastronomic paradise. Le Delicorner certainly has what is probably the best breakfast in Brixton without the noise and large crowds found in Brixton Village. The staff are all brilliant and they serve up amazing freshly squeezed and blended juices along with wonderful coffee to go with the lovely mains and pastries! I definitely recommend visiting on Saturday or Sunday for the best brunch of your life. I would suggest calling ahead to reserve a table if your party consist of more than 2 people.

I was recommended to head here by a friend whose house I'd stayed at the night before as I needed somewhere to hole up for the morning where I could sit comfortably, drink coffee and much on lunch. I've since been back twice more and have really enjoyed the delicious salad lunches, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Next time I stay overnight in Streatham Hill again, I'll be heading straight here in the morning.

This is a great little find just off Brixton hill, amazing coffee, friendly staff. Food looked good but I didn't eat. Worth checking out

Such a wonderful little place for brunch, great food, inexpensive and wonderful service! I can't wait to go back next weekend.
