Honest Burgers Kings Cross in Islington

Terribly good burgers, with quality ingredients and original recipes. Special mention for the rosemary fries. The staff is really very friendly and accommodating and even served us quickly to allow us to catch our train! A real sense of service. I recommend it to anyone looking to eat in the area!

I visited in February. I know there is a signature burger every month, and in February it was the kimchi burger. It feels like a delicious homemade burger. It doesn't feel like anything special, but it's just delicious. What was a little disappointing was that it was difficult to call the staff because they were going back and forth between the basement and the ground. It took a long time to wait for the checkout, so I sat in the restaurant for almost two hours. (The food also came out a little slowly.)

We go to Honest burger a lot and this one was a bit more pricey than others. The restaurant was clean and tidy and it's in a good location. I had the vegan plant based burger with vegan bacon. Excellent but 1900 calories with fries which now I know, is making me rethink my future orders! There's no need for one meal to be your whole daily allowance of calories.

Every time I visit London for work, I make it essential that I come here for lunch at least once. They are affordable and have a nice selection of tasty burgers. 👍🏻

For me who doesn't like eating overcooked burgers, it's convenient to choose the degree of doneness, I can't eat more burgers here in England... I hope other businesses follow their standard or that they open more places! All the food is tasty and it really seems like they control the supply chain, I would actually like more detailed information about it!

First honest burger, was good value and great fast service. Rosemary chips are always a win. Although depending on how you prefer burgers, they are a little on the sweet side for me (brioche buns and onion relish makes it too sugary). The seating set up was really awkward and cramped so much that you have to physically move the table to the side whilst still ending up on your neighbours plate (I'm not particularly large either)!!

Super recommended!!! Delicious burgers and impeccable service. When you go to a different country and receive this attention it makes you want to repeat it a thousand times. We have been in London for 4 days and we have returned twice. Incredible waiters and waitresses. Thank you!!!

Popped in for a smashed burger with fries. Because the seasoning on the fries is sometimes too much for my taste, I asked if the rosemary salt could be served separately. I was told that it was no problem. Burger was full of flavour and I had a little pot of rosemary salt to season my fries.i also had half a draught lager. Great lunch plus I had a £5 birthday voucher from Honest Burger, which get when you sign up to their website.

The plant burger was amazing, loved the pickles. Such a great flavour. And the rosemary fries were lovely too. Have already recommended to friends

Best Honest Burgers I've been to. Great burger, cooked medium rare. Juicy and the single patty was enough to get hands around it. Chips were crispy and the service was also excellent. Would definitely go again.

I was utterly disappointed with my experience at this branch. The Buffalo burger, usually enjoyable elsewhere, had an appalling chicken breast texture – crunchy and oddly flavored. The prolonged waiting times were exacerbated by inattentive staff who failed to inquire about the subpar food. The stark contrast in food quality between branches is unacceptable. I won't be returning here.

Cheap burger in a late lunch. Very well located and the burger and chips were cooked just how I like it! We got a table that was great for people watching.

Scrumptious. The burger is simply perfect, especially those pickles! Wow! Onions rings! Wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more, delicious, crunchy, well seasoned. Super friendly service. Nice background music (or maybe I was simply doing my good food happy dance) Anyway! Highly recommended!

This place used to be really good but our last visit was disappointing. Food was ok but service has really taken a slide. We were barely acknowledged when we arrived, and eventually shown to a tiny table for two jammed so close to the next ones that we might as well have well been sitting on a shared bench. Service was disinterested, unfriendly and monosyllabic. With plenty of other food options around KX we won’t be back in a hurry.

Kings Cross on a Friday is always a busy place and it’s understandable Honest Burgers would be busy. However, while the initial waiter was friendly and accommodating, the person who took our order was rude and unwelcoming. I appreciate it’s not the most exciting time I the world, but the person could have at least offered advice when asked about the menu instead of saying “I don’t know”. Food was average but edible before heading off elsewhere in London.

I had a birthday a couple of weeks back and their service was incredible ,we celebrated together, had my cake and we all partied. Best people everrr. Food incredible and the service was 10/10. Thank you guys

One of the best burgers I've had. Casual and atmospheric with great staff and prompt service no matter how busy they are. Would highly recommend if you like a gourmet burger with some character!

Fantastic burgers in King's Cross I went to this restaurant for dinner with my girlfriend during a holiday in London. The restaurant is located in the King's Cross area, not far from the famous Harry Potter train station. The structure is placed on a sharp corner between two streets and an external wall is circular. The interior, divided over two floors, is quite large. I got a double King's Cross burger special, sold only at this point in the chain, accompanied by a medium beer. The sandwich was sublime. very good and very tasty. Each dish is accompanied by rosemary fries which I thought were fantastic. The prices, considering the generosity of the portions and the quality of the ingredients, are honest.

Really tasty! I loved the double smash burger and the coleslaw. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have vegan options and fresh beer.

Great food and friendly, efficient service. We were seated and served food very quickly. The rosemary chips were especially good. Atmosphere was good, it was busy but the acoustics meant the restaurant was very loud so you have to raise your voice in turn to be heard by the person across you. There was also quite a lot of tables in the small space but this is fine if you don't mind sitting close to a stranger.

Great burger, highly recommend the Smashed. Just enough for lunch. Not sure I could eat one with Satan's sauce! Very tasty burgers with fries, coleslaw etc. Most meal deals have a choice of 1 side. Really friendly staff. Good choice of beef, chicken and veggie burgers. Would come again for sure. Honest!

I’ve had a better chicken pesto burger and buffalo wings. There is honestly nothing unique or special about the burger, it was really chewy as well. The onions were ring were too big and too oily.

Amazing food and excellent options for vegan and veggie. However, we sat downstairs where there wasn't anyone else. It's quite dark and there's a view of the kitchen who were listening to music different to what was over the speakers for customers.

We came 30 mins before closing and we didn’t have the best experience. After waiting months to come to london and try it We ordered a medium well and we got a burned burger.. The service wasn’t good Overall we left disappointed

Delicioso y con alternativa sin gluten. Se trata de una cadena londinense de hamburguesas. Ofrecen una burger diferente cada mes y en cada local su propia hamburguesa. Todas están deliciosas, y las patatas son increíbles. Son muy comprensivos con las restricciones alimenticias, y ofrecen todas las hamburguesas con pan sin gluten y con la opción de adaptarlas en caso de que algún ingrediente no se pueda comer.

Las hamburguesas más buenas que puedes probar en la zona y muy bien de precio. Nos encantó el lugar y lo simpático que fue en todo momento el servicio (en especial una chica joven que si no me equivoco era argentina). Muy buen ambiente! Las alitas de 10 muy recomendables😍

Staff professional and friendly this afternoon nothing to fault waiting time for meal was 15 minutes but arrived within 10mins in a packed lunch time. I decided to take away buffalo chicken burger and rosemary fries and washed it down with karma cola. Burger brioche bun was soft and fresh and the crispy chicken fillet was well seasoned with its ranch style sauce (i could of had another 😋) but the rosemary fries was so fresh, crispy with its seasoning and the portions for a greedy guy like me was actually enough. The price was around £17 for the meal which is expensive but for the quality and hospitality I will be back once in a while as a treat.

Posto molto carino, servizio un po' lento ma comunque efficace. Possibilità di ordinare tutto il menù in versione gluten free. Ottimo per chi è celiaco o ha qualche intolleranza. Hamburger buoni ma un po' troppo speziati, soprattutto le patatine al rosmarino.. sarebbero meglio normali.

Honest Burgers, Honest review. The burgers are nice and well seasoned but the sides are far too salty. Soggy chips and onion rings. Coleslaw was deli. Homemade sauces were a bit disappointed. I could go back for the burger only.

Definitivamente una hamburguesería súper recomendable en Londres. Nos encantó la variedad de hamburguesas, la calidad de la carne y su punto de preparación. Disponían de un menú navideño con muy buena configuración; pudimos añadir patatas y ensalada de col que también merecían mucho la pena. El camarero fue encantador, el local muy agradable y la decoración muy cuidada y actual. Se encuentra a escasa distancia de la estación de King Cross

Great food and really friendly staff. Only problem is their fries. I have eaten here on 3 occassion iand every time had to send fries back as basically just scaps. They are just 90% scraps that are about an inch long at best…….. They insist that is just the way they come but that is not true as we ate at Warren Street branch next day and then Soho branch following day and their fries looked normal size…..?

I love Honest Burger but we were really disappointed with this particular branch. Our burgers and chips were really cold, like they had been left standing on the counter for 10/15 minutes before they were served to us. We received our food at the same time as the table next to us who arrived 20minutes after us so we strongly suspect our food was just waiting to be served to us for a long time. Given it was only 5.30pm on a Friday, I hate to think what the service would be like when the restaurant was actually busy. Unfortunately it seems that they prioritise Deliveroo orders over customers that sit in and it's left a bitter taste for what used to be a favourite restaurant of ours and probably wouldn't risk going back.

The good food and nice atmosphere you would expect from your casual Honest Burgers. The staff was kind but some times it felt like it was too much asking for the usual things.

I absolutely loved this place. The location is cute, cozy and has windows all around so you have a view of London while eating. They have a good selection of burgers, with some interesting & delicious specials, like the “Christmas burger”. They have also a menu deal at 20£ that includes a burger (regular & specials!), a soft drink, a side (like onion rings) with a sauce of your wish (like BBQ mayo, chipotle…). Very convenient! Price is so reasonable. Quality of food is high. Their fries are so delicious. Staff is very nice and friendly. Absolutely a required stop while in London!

Genuinely delicious burgers in London with good service and atmosphere. Similar price point to five guys but with better atmosphere and more drinks and sides options. Less messy and saucy than Patty and Bun. Nice that you get the beautiful fries included with the burger (or salad or coleslaw!) and the single patties are pretty substantial and very good. You can customise the way you want your burger cooked and generally that was accurate although medium was pink, so I might ask for medium well next time, I recommend the chilli burger or the tribute. The fries are delish!

The atmosphere was really good and I felt very comfortable from the moment I entered the restaurant only yesterday and was immediately welcomed by a member of staff (matrade). I ordered the double pesto chicken burger with rosemary chips and once on my table I demolished the whole meal, very tasty, especially the rosemary chips. Would highly recommend this as a spot for good quality food and friendly staff if you're in the king's cross area of London 👍🏾😋.

We had the Kings Cross burger special and thought they were pretty solid good burgers. The rosemary fries were a plus as well.

£15.80 for standard burger including fries and auto added service charge. Burger is fine, but no longer anything special compared to the many many other burger joints around central London. For burgers Five Guys is better and nearer station at similar price point, McD or even Leon is much cheaper. UnionPizza is better value for cheap eats. Endless other healthier options nearby too.
