Home Bakery in Wyre

Whenever I am in Fleetwood I try to pop into the Home Bakery. It reminds me of how good food used to be like when I was a kid. Custard slices, pies, Chorley cakes, wholemeal loaves. Excellent.

The homemade cakes and savouries are very nice indeed and reasonably priced BUT it’s let down by the awful miserable and rather rude women who serve there. There is a good selection to chose from yet they abruptly try to hurry you along no please or thank you either unless as we noticed there was a regular lady customer being served they were very friendly and chatted to her, all very odd. I have visited the bakery a few times now always the same crabby experience from these two women but felt I really had no choice this time but to leave a review. Who ever owns this place should ensure that these miserable women either step up and be polite or get out. Fleetwood is slowly improving I’m pleased to say and it’s nice to be nice isn’t it?

Used Home Bakery for the Buffett and my Wife's birthday cake, The buffett even though it was one of the more expensive quotes i had got was worth every penny and i'm glad i used them for the buffett. I had them make a custom cake for me and they did a great job its looked fantastic, I would definitely recommend Home Bakery for making your cakes and buffets if your looking around for a caterer for a buffet or cake for a special occasion.

The title says it all, 2 custard tarts, thick pastry, soggy bottom, finger marks all over pastry. Won’t be back in a hurry.

I ordered a family cake for 3 members of my family in one 16th 18th & 50th they made a 12 inch designed with silver very neutral for all , it looked amazing but it tasted delicious.

Just around the corner from the indoor market, Home Bakery is the best! We travel over from Nabchester every 2 weeks and always call in. It's like an Aladdins cave of cakes, pies, pasties, etc.... If you want a good, old fashioned, tasty bakery do visit. We always have hot Cornish pasties, small custards and sweet pies. Also sells plated pies, quiche, breads. A real treat!

Very friendly and down to earth staff, fab tasting pies/pasties. Their cakes are awesome, and everything is always so fresh 💖 love it!

Got 2 meat and potato pies and a mince beef and onion for £2.90 All looked good and tasted even better. would go again when next in Fleetwood. Heartily recommend.

I called in here and ordered a sausage barm there was two ladies in the shop the older lady has absolute no clue of hygiene she had a cough and was coughing all over the food and In to her hand then handled my food without washing her hands and then wiped her hand on a wet dishcloth then proceeded to Handel my food this cloth obviously had been used to wipe the counters down I asked for a cheese and onion pie which was Luke warm I thre both away after leaving the shop and witnessing such hygiene practices I feel so strongly I have reported it to environmental health and maybe suggest some hygiene training or to re sit her food handeling certificate it was so rude and disgusting and bad manners to do this to anyone’s food I felt disgusted

we called after eating at the chip shop opposite..we wanted to take bread and cakes home,nice bakery we bought,nice fresh bread,and a selection of cakes

Spending the morning in Fleetwood ,we were happy to rest our weary legs over a welcome coffee and delicious cake.So much variety of both hot and cold food all freshly baked Friendly service and very reasonably priced.

A great place if you just want a sandwich or pie, excellent if you just want a sanwich whith a bit of salad a piece of meat pie and piece of susage roll all on a paper plate ideal to take to the beach for a picnic and at £1.80 it wouldn't break the bank.

A pro to visiting fleetwood is grabbing a bite to eat at Home Bakery, the option to have baked food either hot or cold is a definite plus! The cakes are cute and easy to catch you off guard considering which to choose from, the huge selection of pies and slices makes a walk on the beach even better. The prices of everything are decent too!!

Visited on Thursday 7th September. We had caught the tram to Fleetwood from Blackpool to have a look around. While there we decided to get something for our lunch and found this Bakery which had a great selection of pies and cakes as well as hot and cold drinks. The food was freshly baked and delicious.
