Holy Cow in Wandsworth

The most expensive, tiny, tasteless Indian takeaway we’ve ever had, 35.00 of nothing could not believe how poor. We have had food from there a few years ago when working in London which was very good so we’re looking forward to trying again and can’t comprehend what’s happened as no comparison on portion size, taste or quality absolutely disgusting don’t even think about ordering.

Boring and fairly tasteless....very cold on arrival. (15 minutes late - but that could be excused if the food was delicious) Chicken dish tasted like I had made a quick sauce with curry powder. Prawns were flavourless. Peshwari naan had none of the sweet coconut center that I expected. I will never order from here again.

We ordered food for 2 people at 8pm,by 9.10pm when it hadn't turned up we called. Nobody answered. In the end by 10pm we felt we had no choice but to DRIVE to the restaurant. Their excuse was that there was only one driver. I can only assume our food would have turned up at about 11pm and cold as there was about 20 bags of food waiting to go out. We cancelled our food and can't understand why they accepted the order in the first place! Do not order from this place.

Wouldn’t give the cold revolting food to a dog. Called to rectify - not interested and told me to reorder and pay again - I don’t think so 🤢🤢🤢

Food arrived late via UberEats and was stone cold when we opened this evening. It's our 1st time trying the restaurant, and from what we could tell the quality appears good, however meal was ruined by the temperature.

Food was delivered an hour later than promised. No notice was given. Food was stone cold on arrival.

pls beware the manager that answers the phone uses people’s credit card information to do online shopping DO NOT pay by card over the phone this has happened to me on two occasions do not pay by card over the phone

We live nearby so we ordered online then popped round the corner to collect - the order was ready. The food was delicious - the portions are a good size too. Will definitely order from here again!

Love the food here. Meat cooked well. Prawns are massive and juicy. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Late delivery, food was cold, flavorless and over priced. Told it would take 45 minutes and took over an hour and a half. Very disappointing.

Terrible experience! We had to wait 2 Hours for a cold food! The driver couldn't speak a word of English and couldn't find the address!! Afetr 2 hours when we received the cold food, the order was wrong!! When we called the restaurant to tell them they said we will pick up the food and refund the money! They were not even apologetic for making us wait for 2 hours for food! Not only they didn't refund the money, but also the next day we realized that we have been charged twice, once in Battersea branch and once in Balham branch. It's the most awful experience that after two days the problem still on going!!!!

We live round the corner from this place and have eaten takeaways from here dozens of times. The food is good to excellent. I have a soft spot for lamb curries which can be tough from some places - but not here. Can't comment on their delivery because we always collect, but its usually ready when they say it will be - typically about 15 mins except at the busiest times. It's not the cheapest but we don't mind that so much for the quality of their food.

We tried this takeaway when we moved in across the road. The order turned up wrong - I'm a vegetarian and they sent me two meat dishes and there were items missing. I appreciate this happens on occasion, so we rang up to request to exchange it and Immediately they got defensive, telling us that we had placed the order incorrectly. We requested to be sent the correct order in exchange for the food they had given us, and for them to bring over the missing items. The gentleman on the phone called my boyfriend a liar and accused us of trying to get free food. He then invited him over to the shop "to settle this like men". We took them up on the offer and ended up getting the right food eventually. I enjoyed the curry I eventually received, but my partner and Dad felt that theirs lacked flavour other than cream. I find this sort of attitude to be inexcusable in any field, thus I could not possibly recommend this place.
