Another enjoyable visit to the Holland Arms. Usual friendly welcome and great service. We shared a duck starter from the specials board, amazing, especially the sauce. We then had lamb and steak as our mains. Both meats were delicious as were the accompanying vegetables. Good choice of wine (I enjoyed the Malbec). Couldn’t resist a bread and butter pudding for dessert - even though full. Look forward to our next visit - probably one of the Christmas meals now being advertised. Very reasonable bill.

Phoned ahead to request if we could stop here in our campervan overnight and were told by the supremely friendly owner we could but the pub was closed the night we were coming (Thursday). We came, had an absolutely peaceful night's sleep and were lucky enough to catch the owner in the morning to give him a thank you card and a small tip for his kind welcome! The menu sounds delicious and the location is amazing so we will most definitely be back to spend some pennies at this lovely establishment. It is so nice that they welcome overnighters and this will def be on our winter travels list and be recommended to friends and family! Thank you very much to the owners for making our stay so easy and pleasurable! :-)

All we can say is wow wow wow! We went for a date night steak dinner during their steak week and were blown away with the quality of the food and the standard of service. For a small pub tucked away in the hills above Llandudno this is one the best restaurants we have eaten in in the UK. Food is always of the highest standard as is the service. Cannot recommend the Holland arms highly enough. If you are in the area and want a good quality meal at good prices then you need to go here.

Visited whilst staying at the caravan site nearby within walking distance to the Holland Arms. This old pub is full of character and charm. The food was amazing - we had garlic mushrooms which was in a delicious garlicky creamy sauce to start - the best I’ve ever had! The mains were beautiful too although we couldn’t eat everything as the portions are very generous. We enjoyed it so much we returned for our final evening. The landlady was lovely making us feel welcome and we enjoyed chatting to her and other guests in the pub. Can’t recommend highly enough - we will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

1 night motorhome stopover in a spacious, fairly flat and well lit car park. Close to a road but the noise during the night was virtually none for this light sleeper. We had meals and drinks in the pub which was very quiet that night. I had good old fashioned gammon, egg and chips for the first time in years and my partner had treacle glazed beef. Both meals were very good and plentiful. Indeed my wife had to leave some of hers to leave room for desert of raspberry pavlova. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Decent selection of beers and spirits at the bar. Staff were nice and friendly. Overall a very good experience and excellent value for money. In fact when we got back to the motorhome we done a rough tot up to check that we had not been undercharged! Would definitely visit again when in the area.

We were camping up the road and the campsite owners recommended here for a meal/ pint while we were here from Manchester. Definitely glad we tried it, so much so we went on the Friday night and again on the Saturday. Portion sizes are huge .. we learnt our lesson for day 2 and didn’t have a starter but saved room for dessert. On night one (Friday) for starter I had pate and my husband had Thai chicken fritters - portion was the size of a main meal but absolutely delicious. Then for main it was scampi and carbonara - again portion was huge but was full of flavour and delicious - husband said was the best carbonara he’s had outside of an Italian. On night 2 (Saturday) I had bbq chicken baguette and husband had lasagne and garlic bread. Again , portions were huge but so so good! Managed to save room for dessert - biscoff cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding My only slight complaint was the amount of time between courses / waiting to be asked if we wanted another drink … on the first night we only had 2 drinks in 3 hours even though was only a few other people in. It’s like they don’t want to mither you but it leave you alone abit too much. Also, on the Friday night we said we would be back in tomorrow night (the Saturday). And when we got there on Saturday the man said they were fully booked up but had a table in the bar… I feel he could of said we need to book on the Friday. Husband was a big fan of the Snowdon Lager - shame we live 2 hours away else we would be here more often but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We were recommended this pub as we were staying at a local campsite. Visited on Friday night for a birthday tea. Friendly service and ok starters. I ordered homemade sausages and mash potato from the ‘specials’ menu when my meal came it was a jacket potato mashed up with hard potato skin in it. When I mentioned this I was told that they had ran out of mash through service, was not told prior to ordering and the specials board was a chalk board (could have changed the word mash to jacket) I would have probably changed my order knowing this. My partner ordered fish and chips, the fish looked anaemic. Although they apologised it is somewhere I would not visit again. I’m glad we had 10% off also due to staying local.

We turned up on a Sunday in our motorhome, with our dog, for Sunday lunch and a Brit Stop overnight stay in the car park. We hadn't realised dogs aren't allowed inside the pub so we were unsure whether to stay, but we were offered Sunday roast and dessert brought to our motorhome as a solution. So we carried our plates across the car park on a covered tray and had a delicious, good-value (£13 each for two courses) dinner in our motorhome. Otherwise we'd have had to saddle up and ride out of town looking for somewhere else to eat and stay, probably miles away. Very impressed by this and the pub in general. Would definitely recommend this place.

It was a first visit for most of our group and we had booked in advance as was a Saturday night. A large car park, nice garden area quiet surroundings as not much nearby. There are some windy lanes to get here depending on where you're coming from. The pub is a typical old country pub and very welcoming. Our drinks order was taken promptly whilst waiting for the rest of the group. I think there was an ale that wasn't available on draft but the bottle choices were fine.

We were staying just up the road and this came highly recommended. It didn’t disappoint. What a good countryside pub/restaurant should be like. Lovely warm welcome and great food. I would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area.

A beautiful drive out to the gorgeous Holland Arms. A warm welcome and really delicious dinner. Recommend Chicken and motzerella salad and chicken with crust on mash with cabbage and bacon. The veg are beautifully cooked, not too soft and not too hard either. My desert was the Holland Arms special ice crea m sundae, devine, the best deser t I have had!

My husband and myself ate Sunday lunch here on Sunday 8th July 2018. Food was superb and the service friendly and efficient. The pub/restaurant is beautifully cared for and gives out a lovely ambience. We will certainly be making a return visit.

We last visited this place 25 years ago and despite living about 6 miles away and passing by at least once a week never went in again! Always somewhere to be or go to. Called in on impulse for Sunday lunch and was surprised how busy the car park was- never seen it that busy. Ordered two course Sunday lunch for £13 a head. Garlic mushrooms served with a warm roll and salad, pea soup which I was told was lovely. Loads of tender beef, roasties and a huge Yorkshire pudding, plenty of veg. All very tasty. There only seemed to be two people waiting on/serving/ manning the bar and it was pretty busy so the wait for food was just ok. Do I recommend this place? Yes but very rural so a car is essential.

Lunch time special deal here is very good indeed. Good wholesome food served nicely and with a smile. The lunch is a very good deal, enhanced by a loyalty card, purchase 5 lunches on different days and the sixth is free. Nice leisurely atmosphere.

Beautiful location and beer garden is beautiful next to the river, however the barmaid was very snappy with my boyfriend and it seemed very clicky. A shame as it would be beautiful in the summer months

Having not been to The Greyhound for a year or so, I was thrilled with our choice. Nothing had changed, everything was as good as before. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Despite the restaurant being busy, Service was prompt and friendly and the food ( Steak & Kidney Pie / Fruity Chicken Curry ) was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended. We certainly won't leave it so long till we return
