Lovely friendly staff. The scones were warmed up for us and were delicious. The home made spiced ginger tea was amazingly good. We will definitely come again next time we are in the area

Service was very slow, drinks arrived after we had eaten breakfast. Orange juice warm, needed ice adding after juicing.

We booked this cafe for an afternoon tea for a 60th birthday for 8 people, it was absolutely amazing. Not only was well organised but with 3 vegans aswell everything was freshly made to cater for our needs and allergies. Staff absolutely went above and bwyond for our party and nothing seemed like it waz too much trouble The food was amazing value we all went home with a box. Communication was fantastic from the initial enquiry to the day it's self. Jo kept in touch to check with the people with allergies and to add or remove anyone who could/couldn't make it and decorating. We have all said we would come back again for afternoon tea, thank you so much for making the birthday girl super happy

The farm shop and butchers sre lovely. Poor communication skills/negative attitude from some of the staff in the cafe. Also maybe rethink the ordering system. The food has always been very good.

I really enjoy visiting this cafe and garden centre but this is a problem I have noticed on three visits now . Visited café yesterday, I had a jacket potato with cheese and salad side . The side salad was limp and inedible. This is the 3rd time I have had this issue but this time I decided to send it back . I was told it was due to the Balsamic Dressing and that the salad was fresh that day . I stated that the dressing was fine it was the salad leaves that were off . The salad was kindly replaced but though it looked marginally better on the plate it still tasted disgusting. Working in Food & Beverage myself I know what a fresh salad looks and tastes like and this most definitely did not hit the brief . Very disappointed that this issue is ongoing. The cafe otherwise is warm and welcoming with very friendly staff .

Busy business you need to find table plus its number before ordering. Coffee tastes and temperature varies depending on staff. If ordering tea cake that comes with butter if you want jam it’s an extra £ pound ??

This cafe is always one of my favourite places for food and the vegan breakfast is the best breakfast I have had! Would 100% recommend!

After winning a Facebook competition I received a phone call from Jo to book us in for our breakfast for 2. On arrival we were greeted by the very helpful and friendly Jo. We both had a full English breakfast with added black pudding, a cappuccino, Moroccan mint tea and an orange juice each. It was very tasty and filling. We have been to Hodgehill before and will return time and time again as we always have an enjoyable visit. Thank you to the team and can’t wait to come again.

Overpriced and poor quality food. I had a bbq chicken panini which cost £8.99. It was awful and I left half of it. It was just plain cooked chicken with some cheese and barbecue sauce squeezed on top and toasted. Served with it was a tablespoonful of salad, the salad leaves were past their best. My mom had fish and chips which I think were £13.99. The fish was very small and off white and similar to that you buy at a cheap frozen food shop. Seems like they are buying in the cheapest food and selling at the highest price they can get away with. No brown or granary bread on offer only white farmhouse bread and no healthier options on the menu. Would not recommend and will not be having food there again. Can get much better meals locally for a more realistic price. On a positive, the coffee was ok and the staff I dealt with pleasant.

I booked a table, well in advance, for a friend and me for today, 24th May. We arrived just five minutes before our arranged time but the table had not been cleared. Indeed there was still someone sitting at the table that had been earmarked for us. We were seated elsewhere but our designated table should have been ready. The food was good, when it finally arrived ; it was a fairly long wait and a bit pricey. I do not think we shall be visiting again. Staff were pleasanr and friendly however.

Held my daughter's baby shower at Hodgehill Garden Centre yesterday - we hired the Lounge area in the cafe and had the room for our exclusive use for the afternoon. Scott the cafe Manager orchestrated the event perfectly; from my initial enquiry to when we left yesterday, nothing has been too much trouble. Scott went above and beyond, to make sure everything ran smoothly. The room was already laid out as we had discussed - it looked fabulous. Scott helped us decorate the room when we arrived, and stayed to serve the guests welcome drinks which was lovely. We were left alone to enjoy our tea, but Scott checked on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. All the staff were top class - the service was excellent. The afternoon teas were exquisite and highly recommended, but then the food served there is always of exceptional quality. All dietary requirements were catered for. I can't recommend the cafe at Hodgehill Garden Centre highly enough - for the superb staff, quality of food, fabulous room, cleanliness, and overall service - it is the perfect venue. Unfortunately the maximum rating is only 5 stars - it is certainly worthy of many more!!

Lovely spot for a breakfast or lunch. Good selection on the menu - had a prawn sandwich which was huge, lovely fresh bread and so many prawns they were falling out! Come back the following day and ordered the soup of the day, again really lovely and great to be dog friendly

The garden centre and butchers are nice enough but sadly the service in the coffee shop is awful. This is our second visit. No improvement over the first. 20 minutes wait for a coffee is not acceptable. We won't be rushing back

We had three hodgehill breakfasts, one with black pudding, which was extra and a scrambled egg on toast. For nearly ten pounds a breakfast (without the black pudding which was over a pound for two small pieces) to only get one sausage and one piece of bacon and one hash brown and rock hard toast, it is not great value for money. There are better offerings in the area for less money at other garden centres or establishments around kiddeminster. It was well cooked and tasted great but was a cost dissappintment.

We ordered the Sunday roast from Hodgehill cafe. It was excellent, hot, fresh veg, homemade stuffing with succulent chicken. All Cooked and served like somebody cared about the food. We most definitely will be making a B line for this gem..

Went for a quick snack and a coffee. I know times are tough for some businesses, but how they can charge what they do for a basic sausage sandwich is beyond me. The sausages were greasy and anaemic. The bread was cheap, thin and flimsy. You can get a better sandwich from a snack van in a layby. What's more my drink took so long to come I'd eaten my food before it turned it. Won't be returning.

Came here for breakfast last week, the play centres were closed so popped along with a friend and our small children for breakfast. Staff were so friendly and accommodating to the kids. Not only was breakfast so tasty and filling, but the tea we received with breakfast was made with real tea leafs! Never seen this before and was something new and exciting to add a little twist to our full English. Would highly recommend this place for food and quality of service. Manager even came to check we had everything we need, top notch. Can't wait to come again.

We’ve had a couple of lunches here earlier in the year and was really pleasantly surprised by how good the food quality was. However since then we have been twice for breakfast and have been disappointed both times. We thought we’d give it another go under the assumption the last was a one off (sausages were certainly not the same great quality as their butchers and food was cold) but this time we all had eggs with Hollandaise - all arrived cold, the poached eggs were hard and the sauce was really salty. Shame as the lunches are great but I wouldn’t recommend going for breakfast. Would recommend their hot sandwiches at lunch though!

Pricey for what you get. Lasagne, burger and BLT with drinks for £42, but portions were small and not blown away. My lasagne was fine but the salad was gritty and had soil in it. When I suggested it hadn't been washed, the manager came over and was defensive insisting they wash the salad every morning. When I insisted, she grudgingly apologised that if it was gritty she was sorry, walked off and then returned and offered to replace it which I declined. Better places to eat in the price bracket in the area.

Just happened to come across this delightful inn while staying overnight in Bewdley. So glad we found it. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The food was amazingly good. And my chocolate bread and butter pudding was divine. Thank you so much.

£6 for cheese and jacket potato for it to be killed from the microwave. That’s dry inedible. Sausage bap was nice but the jacket potato’s is embarrassing.
