Hobbs Sandwich Shop in Southwark

The quality of this place has deteriorated so much in the past years. Today I was met with incredibly rude staff who were too busy talking amongst themselves to actually serve me when there was no queue. Had to get their attention only to have the card machine slammed to me as if ordering was committing a crime. And they never have the full ingredient incl crispy skin/stuffings anymore yet still charge the full price. Scammy and will never be returning. The worst front of house in the whole market and I don’t know how it’s acceptable to have your staff behave like this.

I called here Saturday as I met the owners when I delivered a car to their home, and said I’d check them out when I next came to London. I had a treat as my wrap was free, and what treat that was. As the Pulled Pork wrap was delightful. Thank you ladies for your generosity.

Fresh, flavourful wraps and big portions. Definitely one of the places worth trying out at Borough Market. I especially recommend the Halloumi wrap.

Tiny little place but packed with delicious food the pulled pork on brioche is delightful and the lady serving more so !

Amazing service from Nancy, Emily and Nadia. Had our wraps spilt for sharing and both the Greek Wrap and the Berlin wrap were excellent and fairly priced for a tourist spot

lovely person served me and didnt hesitate to give me a custom lunch of pork shoulder and salad, no bun . needless to say , the pork shoulder was amazing , basically melt in your mouth. 100%%%

Clean and generous portions, prices are less crazy than in the area. And very tasty cheese falafel mix wrap with marinated vegetables. I recommend despite the strangely low Google rating.

Delicious wraps and very fast service, worth trying!

We had really good wraps here the staff are so friendly and bubbly. The fillings are very generous and full of flavour. Would definitely go again next time we are in London.

Food was up to the mark. I went on Saturday afternoon and I have seen huge que but the staff was really polite and kind.

0 stars. I wouldn’t even call it bad service because the staff are actually contemptuous. Was ignored and others were served from behind me multiple times, when I said something about so I could be finally served, I was spoken too like dirt, they dished out what I ordered with barely anything on it so it was basically just bread, and didn’t even ask if I want any sauce and shoved in my hand. It tasted bland as just bread a bit of hallumi with no sauce and hardly any salad. Worst experience in London and i have lived here 30 years. They should be ashamed as this place is disgusting.

Pull pork is awesome as I remember. So fulling and very tasty. Staff was super friendly.

Goes fast. Great wraps. Chili sauce could be hotter. If you want something quick on hand, this is definitely a good place for it. You can sit down nearby.

Found Hobbs today while out searching for lunch options, small que which normal is a good sign. I had a nice Vegan Falafel It was so fresh tasting. I will be back!!!

The best place for sandwiches in Borough Market. A small but really good quality selection of meats in tasty bread. Perfect for lunch and usually with smaller queues than other stalls.
