Himalayan Dine In in North Lanarkshire

Highly recommend, wait staff were really helpful and gave some good recommendations. The lamb bhuna is delicious. I tried some of my partners madras but that was way too spicy for me! The starters were fantastic. We had quite a bit of a wait between starters and our mains, mainly due to a large table beside us, but other than that it was a great meal.

We won’t be ordering our Indian cuisine anywhere else moving forward, 5 ⭐️ all round! The Chicken Tikki Main is sensational and everything was delivered piping hot! Cannot wait for our next delivery 🔥

Very please to find a Nepalese restaurant so close to me as I had been dying to taste the food little did I know how spicy it would be. But it was well made and tasty too . Recommend a visit or two

Phoned asked for recommendations as this was my first time trying informed the manager I loved lamb biriani but I would like a curry so I went with garlic chili lamb what I didn’t realise rice wasn’t included or wasn’t informed. Payed £35 for 1 starter 1 lamb curry 1 garlic nan/ popadoms. Starter and Curry was lovely lamb wasn’t soft though.

Food was lovely and everything tasted so fresh. Will definitely order from here again.

Best curry in Airdrie easy but food was 40 mins late. Ordered at 1730 for delivery to ensure food was delivered at 1930 but didn’t turn up until 2010. Food was still warm and absolutely delicious so can’t complain about food but delivery time was a bit off.

Well they didn't disappoint again just had wee dinner before going back to work after Xmas break. Food as usual delicious and plentiful. Staff very attentive and reasonably priced.

Chasni was pretty bland. Garlic Nan was like a plain one hardly any garlic on it at all. Disappointed.

Food was absotely terrible, the curries were bland and stinking the chicken was tough well overcooked, even the rice I’ve had better microwave rice than what I out of here. Honestly don’t know how the place is award winning it’s stinking, STAY CLEAR

The Food, Service and even the Atmosphere was too good

Everything was nice and warm when it arrived. Garlic naan needed more garlic, couldn’t taste it. Chicken unfortunately in pakora and korma was tough and chewy.

Absolutely delicious curries, and their tikka paneer is to die for. Well priced and huge portions. Really gorgeous food. Only issue is the bizarre puri.... Chickpeas in a dyed sauce in a soggy piece of bread (chapati?). Really not sure about that.

Lovely little place. Staff are great and food is delish! Really recommend anything tandoori and the bhuna's really lovely too. Whatever you order you won't be disappointed. Wish i took pictures but the food was inhaled.

Was given the wrong curry . I ordered a lamb bhoona and got a chicken tikka masala

I ordered the garlic chilli chicken it was absolutely devine. It is chopped smaller but I prefer this! Very nice, will order again.

I ordered Indian Garlic chilli chicken,the chicken was diced so small thumb nail sized never seen this before,it was what you'd give to a child incase they choked,curry was over powering large diced garlic chunks really bad never be back.

No frills and needs a bit of upgrading but the food was absolutely excellent staff are friendly and helpful and very reasonably priced. We tried to talk them into moving down to Lancashire / Cheshire !!

Food always fresh and hot, delivery always early, drivers always polite and friendly, no phoning to see what is keeping them.

We called in on the off chance of getting a table and they managed to fit in a table for two. All the staff were charming and professional, and despite being really busy, the service and food were first class. Definitely worth a visit.

I took a chance on this vendor, it's been a long time since I've had food this good!!!, absolutely fabulous, I ordered it on line at 1530hrs for a 1700hrs delivery. At 1658hrs it arrived!, very very impressed.

Usually this restaurant is spot on and meals arrive nice and hot and orders are correct. Not this time unfortunately, meal was lukewarm at best, in the grand scheme of things it’s relatively minor. But when I order and pay extra for a garlic naan that’s what I would expect to receive and not the plain one. Just love the garlic one, plain one is ok but…….

Order initially said 6:55pm but changed to 7:05pm. This wasn’t too much of a problem but when I arrived to collect, I was initially told they had no order from me. Then after serving some other people, they said they’d check and get back to me. After waiting for 20 minutes in their waiting area, I had to go back inside and ask to speak to someone. Again they said they had no order. At that point someone called and said they had been given the wrong order and the manager (I assume) asked to see my just eat order. It took a further 20 minutes for my food to be made. I had guests waiting at home with my wife so this was a major inconvenience. Not only that but when I returned I found that one curry had only 4 small pieces of chicken. The food was mainly good but this was not what I would expect when ordering.

Went here for my boys 18th birthday and have to say from start to finish,it was excellent the starter mix platter was amazing then we had the chasni was the best I tasted.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala and a chicken Jalfrezi , unfortunately both curries were almost identical. Defo nothing like jalfrezi. Chicken pakora was pale and bland , more like a battered chicken strip.

Delivery order of Himalayan chicken tikka special n Goan prawn curry along with some raita … absolutely sublime . Highly recommend

Excellent food served - chicken tikka as a starter followed by Tandoori King prawns. Absolute top drawer. Can’t recommend this any higher. Definitely one place to visit for a great meal!

Really pleased order was early. Have dined in Himalayan restaurant numerous times since opening and have always been extremely happy with food, but tonight, due to weather decided to have delivery, and, guess what.... l am STILL EXTREMELY PLEASED.

Ordered food at 2.30pm and asked for a 5.30pm delivery. Food arrived at 6pm. Good food but poor delivery even after giving them 3 hours notice.

food was great only issue is I asked for chicken nuggets kids meal and was sent omelette which went in the bin kids don't like omelette

The menu is extensive. Some really interesting and fabulous choices. Great service and friendly staff.

Food tasted ok, but was freezing cold. Poppadoms stale, left out clearly.

We've had a take-away from here twice now in the last month and generally speaking the food was really nice, especially the curry sauces which were very tasty. However, the quality of the lamb in the currys was really poor. It was very tough and often gristly. It's a real shame as we'd like to have food from here again but the lamb has put us off and it's our favourite meat to have in a curry.

Really nice curries, but that's been a few now that kind of taste the same? Rogan josh and a bhuna.. similar in taste.. same base spices that mingle in and not dissimilar.. but still nicely cooked.. would like more complex spices if I'm distinguishing between them both, if I'm honest.

Very tasty food, best Indian I've had in some time, so I will certainly be ordering again. Delivered earlier than expected too, which was a bonus!
