Excellent authentic Nepali food as evidenced by the number of Nepali diners! Big portions, fair prices, excellent momos! Friendly and efficient service.

Great food had lunch and was delicious and staff were friendly. Vegetarian friendly but if you cant deal with spice let them know early

We are randomly searching for restaurants around there and pick up this restaurants for dinner .We tried almost everything and food was just wow.Momo was delicious with this achar ,buff sukuti,sungurko kaan,chatpate ,aalunimki and pure Nepali khana set are really tasty. Don't know the name but service from the waitresses is very good .

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THE CHICKEN DISH I HAD WAS ALREADY COOKED, AND THEN STIR FRIED TO WHAT I CHOSE ON THE MENU. HARD AND ALMOST BURNT CHICKEN WHICH SHOULD BE SUCCULENT. NEVER AGAIN.

We had best lunch in Folkestone with our friends, staff are friendly and polite, we can choose level for spicy from mild to spicy. There are lots of vegetarian options as well such as veg pakauda, aloodum, aloo Nimki, chilly salty chips, veg steam momo and so on.would highly recommend this place.

I strongly advice you to go with friends and family, enjoy nepalese cuisine and friendly environments, food is really delicious.

Great Nepalease food. Fresh and delicious. Been there with my friends for dinner. It’s best in Folkestone. Would highly recommend samosa chat, pork steam momo, chilly salty king prawn and onion Blake’s.

Awful experience! Have not been to this restaurant before but had had Nepalese food before and had enjoyed it. We went to get a take away due to the good reviews on here, big mistake!! Here is a breakdown of the food. We had soup, it was called mixed Thurkpa , a big dish full of noodles with a tomato flavour. Not bad except for the meat, it was supposed to be Chicken and maybe Pork or Beef we couldn't tell it was so nasty it had to remove from the dish, it was inedible, tough and dry, like it was freezer burned and then reheated (like someone else wrote here ). Next we had a Chicken and Lamb Thali and the meat was exactly the same so thrown away also the the sauce was very salty. Next was the Dhal, What we got was a tub of green water, not a lentil to be seen! So thin it poured like water and you couldn't dip anything in it and you wouldn't want to anyway as it tasted like water!! My partner went back to discuss this after being hung up on the phone when he rang. Did we get our money back, £60, no, we did not, they told us that we should "try them again as they always cook fresh" and have not had any other complaints (there are four on here). They gave my partner £10, it cost more than that to drive there and back four times! Disgusting.

What a lovely surprise. Stopped over in Cheriton, as many do, on the way to France and wondered into town to find something to eat with the family to find this gem. Took me straight back to Kathmandu, Pokra and also the delicious fresh Thalis in India. My favourite was the Thukpa (noodle soup) which had the most incredible flavour, but all the food was incredible.

Excellent home made food and very reasonable prices. It's not a place for a fancy meal and the service can sometimes be more attentive, but the quality of the food makes up for this.

I went to Himalayan on 11/03/2022 where I had a bad experience. The waitress didn’t like when we accepted the condiment sauce they offered and could hear her complain out loud as she left our table. It made me and my friend feel uncomfortable and unhappy ruining our afternoon. I go there often but had similar encounter with the waitress. I was very disappointed and won’t be going there again after such terrible service

I am very disappointed with the service. Firstly they got my order wrong which I let go. Then I heard the waitress complain about us after she took our order and was walking away. I would give 0 star but it’s not possible so I gave 1 star. Please train your staff on customer service.

Went there to relax as we were tired all day walking. Order food and tried to order more but the girl in the till said the table we were sitting is booked and told us to leave. Its very disappointing because firstly she never told us the table was booked when we sat down, secondly people who came before us were still there even though they were not ordering anything and lastly the food was disgusting too much use of chilli powder instead of fresh ingredients.

I came in for a takeaway on my way home (not being from Folkestone). The lady that served me was very helpful and friendly, she even recommended the chilli prawns which were great. When I got home, every dish was just as amazing as the first. I would really recommend this restaurant and even though I live half an hour away, I’ll be going back!

This is a no nonsense café where the food is amazing, so reasonable and where the local Nepalese eat. We have had some great lunches of small dishes and the momos and samosa chat are wonderful.

Got our food delivered in a short period of time. Loved the every dishes ordered. Will come back again 😊
