Hotel godny polecenia. Wysoki standard. Obsługa pierwsza klasa. Pokój duży, nowoczesny, czysty. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne. Animacje są prowadzone przez najlepszą ekipę! Codziennie duża dawka śmiechu i zabawy. Nie da się nudzić w tym hotelu. Tydzień to za mało ;) Piękna piaszczysta plaża 🏖️

When I arrived at the Hilton House Hotel I was greeted by such a friendly smile which made me feel at home straight away, when I seen the room it made my stay even better and cosier, the rooms are modern and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I then visited the restaurant which were testing out their new menu. The garlic and chilli prawns are to die for! I would highly recommend them to any seafood lovers, you won’t be disappointed! The fish and chips! 🤤 the batter on the fish was so light and golden but had a lovely crisp to it too, the fish was cooked to perfection! The hand cooked chips were also amazing!! Thank you for having me.

Visited Dec ‘21 after hearing of good reviews on social media. Ordered Steak dinner at £17 and the Gammon at £11. The menu we were given was not the same as the one on their website. The quality of the food was good but the size of the portions were tiny, not value for money at all. The Service was OK. Didn’t realise until we got home that the Gammon meal should have had 2 eggs on it! We were the only people sat in a room behind the main bar, the ambience/dining experience was poor, bright lights, not Christmassy at all. There were several sets of battery operated xmas lights up at the windows but the batteries had just about gone in them all and the lights were barely lit. Won’t be returning.

Hotel comodo per posizione in quanto all interno dell'aeroporto. Vi abbiamo passato una notte perché avevamo il volo la mattina presto. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Le stanze sono molto confortevoli, abbastanza spaziose, i letti comodi, e sia il bagno che la stanza in generale ben pulita.

Dry and overcooked meat and vegetables...hard burnt roast potatoes and mushy vegetables.. there's a feeling of being RUSHED,also,as they start cleaning tables and moving them and the chairs around very noisily, re-laying them while I was eating.. (a huge hint to vacate.. me thinks).. Colin "the manager" is very arrogant and rude.

I have a rule. If something’s on groupon, it’s on groupon for a reason. There’s nothing out of the ordinary to report following a family meal here. It is what it is. A cheap carvery for the family, and that’s what you get. A little dated, and felt like I’d been transported back to the set of the shining, but the staff were very helpful and the food was reasonable. If I tried to find fault, it would be the aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings and I’ve no doubt the roast potatoes were from the freezer, but for 4 to eat for £25 I couldn’t grumble without effort. Feels like it needs an overhaul, but was busy and friendly. We’d probably go back if passing.

When I Checked in I was told breakfast was at 9. Came down at 9. Cleaner said no breakfast chef gone home. No one around to sort refund. Didn't know he was the cleaner. He said ok to refund. Emailed hotel. They now claim I was told breakfast on till 8.30 and chef went home. Said he had no authority to agree refund. They should have checked with me first. Last time I stayed here no food on a Saturday night as they were quiet and given chef the night off. Avoid this place. Never again.

We had a family Sunday lunch at Hilton House Hotel. Good choice of menu, can thoroughly recommend the breaded brie as a starter. The carvery offered a choice of turkey, pork or beef. There was also a good choice of vegetables. If you have any room after the main course we can recommend the dessert menu. Hilton House offers very good value for money as the quality of food and service is excellent.

We booked a table for 4 for the Sunday carvery. They gave us a time of 1.30 even tho was only half full on arrival. Potatoes 3 ways were all rock solid, the rest of food was just ok. As we sat down to eat they started noisily clearing the tables around us and closed the carvery so we couldn't go back for extra gravy etc, plus turning carvers off plunged the resultant into darkness. Won't be back.

Booked for lunch using Groupon - on arrival there was only one other couple there - but it was early . We were quickly seated and our drinks order taken . The carvery was a choice of 3 meats , pie or salmon , 3 different potato choices and a good variety of veg . The food was all hot . The carvery was acceptable for the price paid although we felt that we probably wouldn't return as it felt a little dated - it reminded us of a traditional B and B type premises

Visited the Hilton House hotel with friends. We go out every few weeks and decided to try here for a meal. It's a lovely quaint hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. We were shown to our table and given the menus. A good selection of food. We ordered our meal and were told there would be a slight delay as a party of 7 had just ordered. The meal arrived hot with plenty of fresh vegetables. Absolutely delicious! Of course we had to order a sweet even though we were rather full. Delightful evening with superb food and staff. Will definitely return.

We arrived one evening in our motorhome as we had relatives staying in the hotel. I asked permission to stay in their car park overnight, so we could have drinks in the bar with our relatives, and was told that would be okay by the most senior member of staff on site. Several hours (and drinks) later, the owner arrived and informed me that motorhomes are not welcome 'because of gypsies' (very racist/discriminatory attitude) so she was not 'legally allowed' to let us stay over. This is not true and many pubs in the area allow overnight stays. I told her I had already asked and been given permission, so had been drinking. Her response was that I'd have to wait a few hours, then leave. This put me in a very difficult position in relation to possible drink driving, and left us looking for somewhere else to stay at the last minute. Far from ideal with two children. I took one full and one half finished drink back to the bar and asked for a refund as I wouldn't be able to carry on drinking alcohol. Given the circumstances, I would have expected a full refund and an apology. Instead I was refused a refund on the half finished drink. When I pointed out it would have been the least she could do, the owner told me she wasn't bothered because I wasn't local so they wouldn't be losing business. She then went on to suggest that I had lied about being given permission, even though a family member had heard her member of staff confirm that I had been given permission. Awful, awful customer service from a decidedly average (and that's being generous) hotel/bar.

Visited a number of lunchtimes over the last few months. Good offers on good home cooked food, real chips always a bonus. Shame to say not as busy as it should be, as people tend to use the chain pub in the village churning out the usual....

The hotel is really nice, we had a problem every morning when we went to breakfast as we were told that breakfast wasn't included in our reservation , which was incorrect, we told the reception, but for the four days we were there we had the same problem everyday. However, the breakfast was great, great variety. The room was big enough for us and comfortable. There is public transport across the road from the hotel and also a tourist bus.

My Son and I were walked in for breakfast. We were welcomed by a lovely lady to our table. The breakfast buffet had everything from cereals, fruits, a large variety of cold cuts, breads and very tasty hot breakfast choices and for Asian guests the congee dish. It was delicious and a good start of the day. Will go back for the dinner buffet

We enjoyed a lovely quiet dinner one Monday evening, the portions were generous and the food fresh and home made. Staff were friendly and attentive. I think we paid in the region of £25 for two main meals and 2 drinks, including gratuities, which seemed cheap for the quality and size of portions received. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

This is a dated restaurant/hotel which hasn't really found its niche. I can't comment on the accommodation but I have had the food as part of a party. It was very bland, basic and typical of an 80's buffet, typical of a Peter Kay scene, "sausage rolls, volauvent, chicken legs". The function room/restaurant is dark, dated in decor and the house DJ was similarly in a time warp. It is disappointing particularly as I'm local to this but I can now understand why it hasn't got too great of a reputation around the village. It's in serious need of a 21st century refresh and to specialise and establish a name at doing one thing or another. It feels a bit of a "Jack of all trades". On the plus side, there was a reasonable selection of ales, but the staff lacked any real personality.

We visited the Hilton House Hotel for a family Sunday lunch for my 82 year old Grandad's birthday. We were a party of 7 Adults 6 kids & 1 baby. We booked the table with the Hilton House 5 weeks ago & they were very aware we were a party with lots of children.During our meal our children got off the table to go to the toilet & as children do they were running & having fun, Within minutes the Owner came over to our table & went into a 5 minute rant shouting at us telling we were being disrespectful & rude to his other customers & he also said that it wasn't a children play center it was a restaurant. (there was a table of 2 in the far corner in our part of the restaurant) His attitude & mannerisms were appalling. We would never return i have never been spoken to so appallingly in all my life & me 82 year old grandad was horrified. Its a shame we left there so disappointed because the young lady that served us & the lady serving the food were lovely. If you have a young family the Hilton House is not the place to eat. It felt more like an old peoples home than a restaurant & I feel the they should advertise as an Adult only restaurant.

We ate here using a Groupon deal so was not expecting a lot, but we were wrong. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. There was a choice of Pork, Beef or Turkey served with all the usualaccompaniments. All the meats were beautifully cooked and very tasty. The dining room is a little old fashioned and could perhaps do with beingupdated, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of the meal.

Booked a table for 5 people. Turned up could smell a damp/mildew stench. Asked for drinks, nothing on tap only bottled. Sat at table and said to the wife that I can't eat in here with that smell. It was cold in there aswell. Four others were sat at their table with big coats on. Phoned the brother-in-law from outside to tell him we'll go somewhere else. Went back in to the wife and drinks had come. I necked my pint and the wife left a watered down pint of cider. Asked barman how much I owed for the drinks. He said shall we call it a tenner, I gave him it and said we won't be stopping to eat because the smell was overwhelming. He said the roof near the kitchen had collapsed months ago which is probably the cause of the smell. Such a shame as this pub grub used to be great. The decor bought back memories as it was the same years ago. The pub needs gutting. I wouldn't use it to keep cows in, in its current state. Andy

We arrived 13 people deep ,including kids, about an hour before we should have - due to a Severn Trent disaster. They still let us use the upper level for an hour before serving good food.

I was here for a wedding party so this was my first visit. Upon arrival we were shown where the function was being held, which was away from the pub. It is a lovely set up, staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The toilets were always clean, to say the amount of people that were using them. Also I thought it was a very good idea that they had baskets of free ladies products that you could help yourself too, as sometimes we can get caught out! The only thing that let it down for me, is that there's no onsite parking, so had to find on street parking, but I was lucky to find one, not too far from the pub, a short walk away.
