Highfield Chippy in Birmingham

Today, the fish was very hard and dry, like it was leftovers from earlier. Chips were fresh. 1st time using takeaway, if I went to the chippie myself I wouldn't of had that piece of fish. So not sure about takeaway food now.

Normally is very good. Doner meat was dry and thickly sliced and burger bun was dry and bit hard

Tuve una entrega a través de Justeat. El pescado era bueno y un tamaño decente. Conseguí la cantidad correcta de fichas, pero todo estaba frío cuando me llegó porque el repartidor tenía otra entrega antes que yo. Lo seguí en su bicicleta. Para una tarifa de entrega de alrededor de £ 5 esto no es lo suficientemente bueno. Espero que mi comida venga directamente a mí

Amazing front of staff, particularly the Indian lady she’s great! The fish the chips have been pretty consistent, there has been the odd time when there’s low footfall making the food cold or not as fresh but that can’t be helped. Love the haddock, chips, curry sauce and the occasional kebab. Would recommend!

Service in the shop isn’t great. Gave my food to the wrong customer despite having my name on that bag. Whilst I was waiting to be served, they started servicing customers around me despite standing in the queue and nobody acknowledged me waiting. Food however is great.

Delicious chips, I don't think their Donner etc is halal.

The driver went above and beyond. I had mistakenly written the incorrect delivery address, but the driver called and still delivered to the correct address—even though he was running out of time to get home in time to open his fast.

Large cod , abserloutly delicious rlly enjoyed it nice and fresh . The food is always rlly nice from here definatly recommend

Food here is of a high quality, delicious clean tasting good ingredients. The high ratings is why I came and I agree with them so I'll definitely give them return business. Portions are not big,but that's becoming normal and most chip shops charge the same but for sorry excuses for food.

As a local chip shop the food constantly great. I tried a piece of SFC and chicken doner burger. Tasty piece of chicken and quality chicken doner burger which was good size and filling. Update mix meat in a tray was really nice succulent, tasty and moist.

orderd the food gave me a time which was already longer than it said then as it got closer to the expected time more time kept getting added. at one point 23 mins got added. when the food did come was luke warm fish wasn't very fresh and for a large there weren't many chips. very poor overall

Pedido desde aquí muchas veces esta vez reservado desde Solo comer un montón de pedido faltante llamado tienda todo lo que seguían diciendo era que lo hice personalmente sin embargo el resto del pedido daba vueltas en la recepción aparte de los artículos faltantes todo lo que seguían diciendo era llamar solo comer ningún interés en absoluto pero mi hijo no tenía cena totalmente impactante servicio al cliente se irá a otro lugar a partir de ahora muy infeliz

Received a complete incorrect order and so many items missing, which included food for my children. I had to go out to the shop and buy it again and we couldn’t wait another 40 minutes for delivery as we were all hungry!

Please put the curry sauce in a separate tub and don't just pour a blob on the fish and chips it makes them soggy all gets absorbed before I get home

One of the best quality fish and chips plus got mixed donner fresh. I think it's one of my top chip shop place.

Food was lovely however no drivers became available and we had to wait over an hour and half only to have to go and collect it however no one even let us know we had to contact them twice which isn’t great really.

usually food is good from here but the chips were stuck the paper for what ever reason but in the end I threw half away because I wasn't peeling the paper of half the chips, chicken was good though

Food was shown as delivered but I received nothing and after two hours waiting ordered from elsewhere

placed our order at 17.10 with an expected delivery time of 60 mins, after about 40 mins the delivery time was updated to between 18.05 and 18.25, at 18.35 i chased to be told delivery now at 18.50! when finally delivered it was luke warm at best, not enjoyable as it normally would be (have used this chippy several times before) if an outlet cannot deliver within the original time quoted then please do not accept an order, give me the option to select somewhere else. 100 minutes not acceptable

burger was cold, food came more than an hour after ordering and the chilli sauce is absolutely vile.

Don't understand wht it took so long. Order placed at 7.30, a quiet time & its 5 mins round the corner. Would expect a delivery within 25 mins.

First time I have used and have to say pleasantly surprised food was hot on arrival tasty and a good portion will definitely be using again 5 star

not sure why a basic food order takes close to 75 minutes to prepare and deliver. Food was nice but length of time from ordering to receiving is putting me off ordering again.

The restaurant forgot my drink but my delivery driver went out of his way to bring me a drink which he really didn’t need to do. Very lovely and showed great customer service
