We have used this takeaway for some time now, despite having to travel to pick the order up as we live out of the delivery area , and have usually been impressed. However on a previous visit we travelled all the way back home to find that the order was incomplete. Tonight we travelled to place the order in person so we could explain the mistake. My daughter found both the staff behind the counter rude, one significantly so, neither were wearing masks and both were eating whilst handling food. It goes without saying that I will no longer use this takeaway and will not recommend it to others any longer. In this current 'climate ' no-one should be eating whilst handling food and there is no need for rudeness - there are more polite ways of saying that the situation cannot be rectified.

Ordered a take away for 4 people so we had a variety of dishes. The best by far was the crispy duck and pancakes. The remainder including ribs, chicken curry and char Sui in black bean sauce was okay but nothing special but the chips were a bit soggy. It is very quick in here and it’s handy and no doubt we will use it again.

Order came on time, food was tasty with large portions but oh so salty! Was up all night with dry salty mouth, never had salty chinese like this before.

Possible the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! The woman on the phone was so sarcastic when I had asked where my order was and replied with “it does take 1.5-2 hours Yano” I thought this was absolutely appalling, you could of handled with I’m so sorry about your wait, it won’t be too long etc!! When the food arrived, all the packaging was really greasy the paper had ripped. There is no care at all in the food yes it’s a cheap chippy but it doesn’t cost to look after your food going out. Would 100% NOT recommend! The chips tasted burnt, and the fish was really soggy. Really disappointed

Ordered a few extras for my daughters birthday, I wish I hadn't bothered.Salt and pepper chips were ordinary awful chips with lashings of salt, virtually no onions or peppers and were disgusting.Onion rings where massive with too much batter and full of grease, they were awful.Vegetable spring rolls weren't much better, soggy with very little filling.My husband went to pick up for speed and during this pandemic (Covid-19) wanted to pay by card only to be told there was no card machine.I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered food at 17.30 and it arrived at 20.15 after we called to enquire where it was. When it arrived there was sauce all over the boxes. I wouldn’t even serve the food to an animal. The chips had been cooked over and over, the ribs were seriously over cooked, chicken wings not cooked properly in the centre and the chicken curry was congealed. Worst £29.00 I have ever spent all went straight in the bin.

No credit cards used so good job I had enough cash. We had half crispy duck, soup, prawn crackers, chicken curry, char Sui in black bean sauce, chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce,chips and rice. Duck was fabulous and the other dishes were huge portions and tasted good too. It came recommended to me and I wasn’t disappointed.

If I could score a zero I would, the chips were absolutely DRIPPING in oil to the point where they looked as tho they had been either re fried 3/4 times or left sitting in cold oil, the beef dish looked like it was made from tar and the fried rice was hard and chewy. The service was really really bad, we asked the lady 2 questions about our food such as ‘does it contain mushrooms’, and ‘is the beef deep fried’ and honestly it was like I had slapped her, she was so rude and short with her response, almost as if it was rude of me to enquire about anything at all. I also think you can see from the previous ‘management response’ sections on the previous reviews that the level of service you will receive is not good at all! ZERO customer service skills. Only positive thing I can say was that the spring rolls were nice and fresh. I absolutely will never be returning.

We bought chips fish and peas, the chips looked like they'd been warmed up from the night before the fish was soggy batter and hardly any fish and had a funny taste and the peas were sweet. We won't be going there again.

Just had a meal delivered chips cold tasted odd ordered rice noodles came (if you can call them that ! ) very bad taste to them I will be taking them for testing tomorrow. Phoned up to complain very rude member of staff and very aggressive on the phone ! After going there for years will definitely not be going back stay away !

We visit southport every year for the last 48 years and we have been using this chip shop for 10 years. The food order was completly wrong and when we ask the staff to change the order to what we wanted they said we would have to pay to change it. After this we will never use this chippy again

Had the food delivered Saturday evening, as the people who like Chinese have a treat on Saturday evening on a regular basis.

Don’t often order from this takeaway but when I have in the past, I’ve never really had a problem. However, I have just ordered from here and did not enjoy the food at all. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was very very salty and my chips were extremely greasy. I couldn’t eat my meal as it just wasn’t nice. Not only that but I ordered a 1.25ltr bottle of coke and got a can! Probably won’t order from here again. There are a lot of other decent takeaways in the area that are a lot better quality and deliver what I ask for!

Now only was the box oozing with grease that is now all over my jeans!! When you go eat a chicken wing it’s not just coated with salt and pepper it’s also entangled with black hair!! Vile wouldn’t touch this place even with a pair of gloves on!!

We ordered our tea from High park chippy via just eat. Delivery always arrives early apart from a Saturday night when they are obviously very busy. The food is fresh and of good quality and we both have our favourite meals.

Very quick with their orders, only live round the corner so it's not far to collect! Lovely food and the staff always talk to you when you go and collect your food

Avoid this place if you value your taste buds. Ordered fish & chips and sausage & chips and wish i hadnt bothered. Food was lukewarm by the time i got it home. Chips were mainly brown, crispy and tasteless. Fish smelt very strong and was so old i think Noah caught it from the Ark. Used to be a pretty decent chippy but not anymore.

One of the best Chinese around here. Think they have altered the menu, couldn't find my usual order, but managed to find the same sauce which tasted a little different. Still good food definitely recommend.

The food was cold , the meal was discussing my son refused to eat his , i did try and eat some and my husband said that we are never to order from there again. I would say more them half went in to the bin .

Delivery on time but food wasn't great... chips left a funny aftertaste, 'chefs recommendation' chicken in red hot sauce was just like chicken in tomato ketchup with some bits of veg scooped what I could off my plate and just ate the rice, beef satay; sauce tasted ok but some of the beef was cold? All in all majority went in the bin

Don’t like to write this but that is the worst Chinese I have ever had, most of it I just haven’t touched, fatty greasy ribs, a whole slice of bread as sesame prawn on toast dumped on top, rubbery noodles and very chewy meat. I will never order from here again.

We collected instead of waiting for our delivery time of over an hour. We didn’t get a refund on delivery charge and a bag of chips was missing off the order, We put this down to being a busy Saturday night. The food was lovely just a shame about the service. We will try again though.

the request for extra vinegar on the chips was ignored and then when we asked for another one it was still very plain. the chips were terrible.

chicken Kim do was lovely but the beef in the fu yung was very chewy and rubbery. Not nice at all. Such a shame as the rest was good.

Food is always good from here 5* only downside as I ordered prawn crackers that I was charged for but they didn't send any with the meal. Other than that fantastic as always can't fault them.

Took 90 minutes to deliver ( when was estimated 60 minutes) I had then ten minutes to eat before rushing out to work !! when arrived was missing two items. Driver very nice and apologised and refunded me. Phoned establishment to convey my complaint. They apologised, excusing themselves saying they were very busy and forgot, They could have however called prior to delivery and at least offered an alternative ?!! This left some of our family with only part of a meal !! Disgrace !! Wouldn't order again from here.

Hit an miss with this place some times its nice sometime its thrown in the bin. Reccomend if anythink box meals seem nice enough. Chips are worst iv had as a chippy goes. But ok

The Chinese food was very nice but the chips tasted refried and i do have experience in chip shops so im 90 % sure they were which was a bit annoying as my daughter doesnt eat Chinese but was looking forward to her chips n jumbo sausage i would reorder again mayb but wouldn't b 1st choice 🤔😑😶

We ordered from this restaurant after hearing good things from a couple of reliable sources. We were impressed with the menu and found it easy to chose what we wanted. The downside to this food order, was the delivery. It took well over the time specified and to make it even worse, we didnt even get a complimentry bag of prawn crackers!

Order went through at 19.01, 19.50 delivery time given, then changed to 20.20 for delivery. Order actually arrived at 21.10 & then the meals were not as requested as had onions in when we started no onions & the chips were cold! Will not order from here again
