Heswall Kebab House in Wirral

Excellent kofte wrap. Sadly there was a drunk a-hole customer who came in whilst we were there, but the staff basically ignored his behaviour. It's a shame that customers like that make the stories of the UK that they will take back to Turkey. Be kind, these guys work hard and do a great job!

Beware anything described as large - I would hate to see small! As part of order had ‘large’ Heswall special kebab - 15 small pieces of overcooked meat - admittedly in a large box! Rang to complain - phone put down. Customer satisfaction is certainly not a priority . Try elsewhere - we will be from now on.

Absolutely no idea how heswall kebab has 3.7 stars, actually slightly annoying. Keep doing what you doing. The food is amazing. The salads are always beyond fresh.

This kabab shop is unreal, I am a super fussy vegetarian, the pizza is amazing and jam packed , On the other hand he eats meat and the chicken is very fresh

Avoid, false advertisement. Food provided did not match what was meant to of been included in the order. Called up and got chinned off!

Food was absolutely diabolical. I had a value meal consisting of old hard flakey bad tasting chicken with chips that were cooked , sat to rest then re fried when I came in to order and god knows when the doner was cooked. The meat itself was not even on the burner. Mine came from the hot pot, which again begs the question how many hours ago it was cooked. Im working away from home and was really looking forward to a good feed but the pic shows I couldn't stand anymore . The crusty "breadcrumb" was already flaked of the chicken in the box. And none of the food was prepared or boxwed in front of me but in the "back room" .... i urge you to give this place a definite swerve until they get new management

Shocking - Salty Donner Meat on cheap pitta bread - £9 for a kebab and water - RIPP OFF - Absolutely dreadful -

Dreadful - Salty Doner, cheap pitta VERY EXPENSIVE RUBBISH - the driest, tasteless, kebab I’ve ever had - trust me I’ve had more than a few!

This is a great place to get fast food. Plenty of choice . Burgers are superb plus all sorts of kebabs . Not expensive and big portions . Nice helpfull staff.

Service isnt always upto standard waited over an hour for food but the pizzas are nice and worth the money when its buy one get one free.

Just moved to the area and made the mistake of trying pizza tragic a few weeks ago. Enough said! Went to Heswall pizza and kebab tonight for a last minute tea and it was amazing. Really fresh, perfect base just the right thickness and tasty too. The toppings were fresh and tasty too. Definitely a winner in my house! Really polite and friendly staff too

Absolutely dreadful! Ordered for delivery and two hours later still waiting after being told "five minutes" every time I've phoned. Poor excuses given "we got busy" all of a sudden despite being told an hour kind ago "its just left, it'll be 5 minutes". Still no food after 2 hours and no real effort to sort. Finally arrived and the driver admitted he'd done 5 deliveries before ours! We've ordered from here for years and this will be the last time. No attempt at real apology or customer service.

Apsoulutely abysmal service, arrived 2 hours and 10 minutes late, the first driver didn't arrive so had to do another fresh dinner, ordered chicken kebab donner wrap and large donner kebab the donner was a small and cold, garlic bread nice, shouldn't have paid for it as they simply didn't deserve it won't be back apsoulute joke of a kebab house.

Visited on Saturday night after drinks in Heswall. Made order, told £11. Card machine was thrust in my face. I asked to see the amount on the screen before tapping my card and he didn’t like it. Told me to leave and asked why I don’t trust him?! Refused to take my order. A sign of guilt? I think so. As a customer, I think I’m well within my rights to make sure I’m being charged the correct amount. Wonder how many other people he’s tried to overcharge and got away with it…? I think my only error was catching him out. Never, ever again.

have been a few times now and it seems average to bad, sometimes it is standard but I feel the last time was much lower standard, pretty sure the doner was different and tasted cheap, the guys seem ok but needs a little bit more with the food at that price

Lovely friendly staff, delicious chicken kebabs with fresh salad and lovely side of garlic bread and a big portion too.

Ordered from here for the second time even though we was a bit disappointed with the first time , the food was delivered a bit late, but this time the food was cold , dried up , but as we had paid £28 we tried eating it, we ate about a 1/4 of it and couldn't eat anymore, this morning we have both woke with very bad stomach cramps and can't stay off the loo, this place needs to be checked out, definitely won't be giving them a 3rd chance, very very very disappointed

Ordered from Heswall kebab, which took 2 hours to turn up then for the driver to drive past house with our delivery and not return. Phoned up to tell owners didn't receive our order, they just cancelled it would remake food to allow me to collect. And refused point blank to give me my money back. I went to kebab house to ask for my money back they were very threatening and abusive towards me told me they wouldn't give me my money back. Will never use this place again. Horrible, rude staff. The little boss worst of them all very abusive swearing at me and rude.

Truly terrible says it all really. All round awful. Don’t waste your money. Order wrong. Food rubbish. Better off seeking something from the drip trays from the nightclub next door.

Food is the best around, but unable to get deliveries anymore always too busy collection only, takes forever to get a refund had to complain via Foodhub, never again plenty of other take aways.

I posted a review in 2020 and complained to the restaurant who promised that it was a one-off problem. As their burgers are excellent I tried again the same 10 piece chicken meal again. It was worse than a year ago - completely unedible and the chicken was so overcooked, and the batter was as hard as nails. I am going to consider legal action against this restaurant to recover my money.

I ordered 2 pizzas and 2 kebabs, with chips...was told the wait was going to be 30 to 45 minutes, on payment. After an hour and 10 minutes I rang and was told the food was on its way. It arrived 10 minutes later, cold!!! And NO chips. I rang to complain and was told "yes, you ordered chips, but we didn't charge for them so didn't sent. After my comsint they apologised and sent out chips that were binned in disgust.

Used this place for 8 years when I called to place the order I was told they would ring me back I left it 17 minutes then rang back to be told yet again they would ring back all I wanted to do is pay I don't know if you have new staff but there was no sorry just poor service when its my favourite take away

Yesterday evening I ordered a 10 Oiece Fried Chicken meal with 3 portions of French Fries. The meal arrived late and the only edible part of the meal were the three portion of chips. The fried chicken was done to a crisp and had obviously been reheated several times as the chicken was completely inedible and overcooked to the point where the chicken was too tough to eat without possibly breaking a tooth. The meal was 30 mins late and I had to telephone them to chase the order up. For £20 one expects a meal that one can eat. I have used this takeaway for some years and this is the first time I have been dissapointed but their is simply no excuse for serving this appalling quality of food.

We ordered loads of pizzas for the staff on shift at the hospital. We took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free deal. Loads of really good flavours. The pizzas were huge. Thank you!

Nice enough pizza, delivery took a while but then again it was Saturday night. Pizzas arrived piping hot. And it was buy one get one free which is rare for a Saturday night! Will definitely get a take away from here again!

Top quality pizzas and kebabs, great customer service

We have ordered on a few occasions over the last year and we have never been disappointed. Was great to see they now have their own app which is clear and easy to use. Highly recommend their coleslaw and the BBQ chicken pizza is a favourite in our house.

Absolute garbage. Don't bother. The fried chicken is hollow, you get the fried outer .but there no chicken inside. There's too much to type and I'm too annoyed. Don't bother .

This is our favourite takeaway. We love this mixed meat kebab. It’s plenty for two people. The hot chilli sauce is super hot.

You need 10 pints of Stella inside you before even thinking about entering this establishment and eating one their Kebabs. I dread to think what is actually in the "meat" but what ever it is, make sure you kill it with chili sauce first

Me quedé fuera esperando mi kebab que todavía estaba fría y sin cocer, aunque yo pedí en la tienda, y me he visto en uno de los chicos dejar una hamburguesa en el suelo y sin dudarlo recogí y todavía sirve! ! Las paredes tenían fuera de ellos y el goteo de grasa toda la actitud del personal era grosero! ! No recomendaría este lugar a mi perro! !

I often fancy something different to eat on occasions to take home after work .so a fresh chicken keba goes down well for me from here .

We regularly order for delivery. Food is always piping hot and delivered on time. Staff are great to speak to and the pizza's are delicious, never had anything other at than great fresh food

This place does a fantastic Chicken kebab. All the salad with loads of Chili sauce. Got an extra pitta bread. Nice and hot when I got it home stuffed afterwards. Thanks Rambo.

Pedir comida aquí sobre una base regular, siempre es una buena comida y un servicio amable. Yo trabajo turnos y a menudo conseguir comida en las horas tempranas sin ningún problema, y no E. coli todavía!
