Hercules Revived in Hinckley and Bosworth

Really nice place, friendly and quick service, food lovely and good value. Staff helpful and listen to you. Good parking, with a few chickens and rabbits to look at.

We had been to the Hercules a couple of times and thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate my 70th birthday. We were not wrong. We had a room upstairs which was just lovely for the 12 of us including a toddler for whom a high chair was provided Food was absolutely beautiful and the chef kindly made us prawn cocktails to start with. Staff were very attentive and ensured that the table was cleared immediately after each course and drinks continued to flow. My family had decorated the room which they allowed and they allowed us to bring our own birthday cake which was a lovely surprise. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening. It finished off the most wonderful birthday. We will be coming to see you again in the not too distant future. I cannot fault the Hercules and would recommend it to everyone.

This was our first visit to Hercules Revived. What a lovely hidden little gem of a restaurant in Sutton Cheney. From booking a table (requesting a downstairs table as one of our party of 5 has mobility issues), to the parking, food, customer service and value for money - everything was superb. The owners and all the staff were really friendly, attentive and professional. The food was to a superb standard and hot. We will be regular visitors from now on. Excellent lunch had by all.

My wife and I have driven past 'The Hercules' pub many times over the years on our way to Bosworth Battle Fields and Sutton Cheney Wharf, but had never been in. It closed down for sometime, so we thought no more of it. Then like a Phoenix from the ashes, it re-opened. It had been 'revived'. It's an old coaching inn. Large car park at the back. Proper country pub atmosphere. Fabulous food. Wonderful welcome by Oliver and his team. Superb customer service. Excellent beers. Reasonable prices. The Hercules Revived has the 'Wow Factor' as far as 'proper pubs' are concerned. Because it's so good, it gets busy. So table booking is advisable. If you arrive by coach and horses....even better.
