A lovely little cafe, great welcome from owner and excellent coffees. There are lots of coffee shops around, this local one was far better than any of the chains.

Very warm and friendly welcome. Excellent mocha, delicious freshly made toasted Mexican Chicken and Cheese panini and Coronation Chicken sandwich with salad. Very fresh ingredients and spotlessly clean cafe and toilet facilities.

Following on from a negative January review, can’t see why someone was surprised that dogs not permitted, it is a food establishment and as such is kept immaculately clean by the owner. As a regular customer I certainly don’t want dogs slopping around in a café. To me this is a great positive NOT a negative. Between the somewhat mucky chain coffee bar down the road, that can’t ever make a decent espresso coffee and the immaculately clean Henrys that make the best espresso I have ever enjoyed - that is no contest. Henrys welcome customers and treat all with respect, alas some customers don’t seem to appreciate that, shame on them! Without doubt Henrys is the best coffee stop in Malvern. A warm personal welcome, superb freshly prepared food, not out of a plastic packet, just the best coffee ever, in a superbly clean café. Who would want more?

First time visiting and what an amazing welcome from the owner Henry, lovely with customers and will be back again love lavazza coffee and all food made fresh. So very attentive and patient with a special needs lady who was his number one fan. Recommend to anyone to visit.

Really lovely food at a really reasonable price. Happy to have found this gem. Made even better by the very friendly staff and as its all made to order, great flexibility in the food. 2 fussy eaters able to eat how they want.

Perfect for light lunch of sandwiches, toasties or paninis. Didn't try the cakes but they looked good too. Small but friendly atmosphere. Got everything you need for a light lunch.

We are keen walkers and always seek out an independent coffee shop after a walk. Unfortunately we didn’t get over the threshold as we had a dog - all three members of staff exclaimed “No dogs!!” as soon as we opened the door. I’m not surprised it only had one person in there compared to the chain coffee shop a few doors away that was full.

Toasted sandwiches don't get better than this! We had a lovely lunch at Henry's Cafe today where we received a warm welcome together with attentive and efficient service. The drinks were delicious too. Definitely worth a visit :)

We've been visitors to Malvern for many years, previously had a coffee etc at Costa, but since Coca Cola bought them they have gone rapidly downhill. So time to find a new coffee stop - why oh why had we not found Henry's before!! Immaculately clean, superb coffee, light snacks made to order (not out of a plastic envelope), probably the best cake ever !! - orange and chocolate (do try it). Friendly independent café. Henry's is as good a café as you could find anywhere, it really is one of the best in the country. Seek this out when you are in town.

Very friendly, freshly cooked but not a long wait, portions were large and quality very good. Seemed to be popular with localswhich is always a good sign.

Visited this café around 6 years ago and pleased to say it's still as good. Limited menu of sandwiches, toasties and paninis but when I asked for just a salad, IE no bread, it wasn't a problem. The guy who runs it is welcoming, polite and funny. Definitely recommend it

We were in Malvern early before an afternoon show at the theatre and came across this place just before lunch. The staff a d food were excellent, very quick service too despite it getting busier as we were there. Will absolutely return

This was one of the loveliest coffee shops I have been in since moving to Malvern area. The staff and especially the owner Faruk are so friendly and accommodating. The coffee is fantastic as are the panini and cakes. Very clean unlike some of the other coffee shops in the area. Would not go anywhere else. 5 stars.

A very pleasant experience and certainly the best hot chocolate I’ve had at a cafe in Malvern. Doesn’t do breakfasts, but some lovely sandwiches or paninis and delightful cakes, the flapjack was one of the nicest I have had in a long time, so buttery. Wife loved her coffee (so much so she had two 🤦🏼‍♂️) and thoroughly enjoyed her panini. Definitely be back when hot chocolate is that good😋

Popped in for breakfast and was served super quickly by lovely man who couldn’t have been more attentive. Lovely bacon sandwich cooked to perfection (I asked for it crispy!) on beautiful fresh white bread served with a strong pot of tea for one, my dad had a coffee which was hot and strong. Cafe is spotlessly clean and right on the high street so very central and handy. Range of cakes looked amazing so I will definitely be back to sample those!!

Does what it says on the tin. Delivers good food in ample portions in a well situated cafe with a slight view of the abbey. Good grub, good prices. Unpretentious. Could be bit better heated, but it's not the kind of place to ha g out in anyways. Best value in town for food.

Called in Saturday, cakes and coffee to die for very friendly, great personal service couldn't recommend it more highly you won't be disappointed

Stopped for a snack whilst touring the area. Friendly, welcoming owner. Very gregarious, charming and funny. Excellent food (particularly the cakes and tarts).So much more satisfying than a ‘chain’. Obviously didn’t check all the cafes in Malvern but if there is a better one it must be spectacular.

Just had a great family breakfast. My wife said it was the bacon sandwich ever and my scrambled eggs with Smoked salmon was divine. Really lovely place and a great host too

If you're in Great Malvern, there are far better options that the chain cafes and restaurants and this is the best for a quick bite. Popped in for a cooked breakfast on a Saturday morning and everything was brilliant. Lovely warm welcome, fast service (but not so fast that the food had been already prepared) and a delicious plate of food. Faultless and highly recommended.

We love popping into Henry’s for lunch or brunch - the welcome is sincere, the food freshly cooked and it’s the best coffee in town. When our grandchildren come to stay we always have a meal at Henry’s.

Best cafe in Malvern.. Faro is a friendly, kind gentleman. Excellent service.. There’s lots of tea rooms in Malvern, however I doubt you will get a welcome as friendly as here. Very recommended.

Popped in here for a full English breakfast. Friendly, attentive and welcoming host. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Good sized portion, beautifully presented and had a very clean feel and taste to it. Will certainly go back next time I find myself in Malvern

Henrys Cafe is perfectly placed to provide refreshment for tired souls who might wander in from the town or the hills. They produced two perfect breakfasts and a lovely pot of proper tea at a very reasonable price. They are pollite and friendly and we will be going back. Happy to give full marks for quality and service. I dont know who Henry is but I take my hat off to him!

This was the first café that we came across on a wet day in Malvern. There was a limited coffee menu so we ordered one latte and one green tea. The tea was nicely served in a pot and the latte was of good quality. It was reasonably priced at £4.60 for both and the staff were very friendly.

Catered for 12 at short notice. Lively cooked breakfast and coffee. Go on the way to a Malven walk... Recommended

Julie served us and she couldn't have been more helpful. We had the sausages, fishcakes and smothered chicken which were all great. The lobster sandwich was OK.

Have visited this little cafe on several occasions now. The food always has the same high standards. (I recommend the 3-egg omelettes with various fillings!)

Had an overnight stay in Malvern on the way back from Devon and was looking for somewhere for breakfast. Saw great reviews of Henry's and glad we gave it a try. We went for the build your own breakfast so you can have the things you like best. Every thing was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Staff also really welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Came here about 2 months ago with the wife for a hangover cure breakfast and it's quickly become a weekly brunch! The service from the owner is off the charts good! Super friendly and accommodating. The food has been spot on every time (tried something different every week)

We were in Malvern and looking for somewhere to have a drink. Henry's was clean, pleasantly decorated and room between the tables. The gentleman who served us was friendly. We had a pot of peppermint tea for 2, there was enough for 4 cups and the peppermint tea was very tasty. The food being served looked lovely, we had a bowl of chips and cheesy chips, portions were generous, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I thought it was good value for money. If we are ever in Malvern again we would have lunch at Henry's.

If I have the time I love calling in to Henry's for a coffee. It's consistently the best in the area and the level of service is unsurpassed.

Popped in for a late breakfast for £7.50 (including brown toast but excluding a beverage). I thought it was very good and had a nice window seat and chat with the Turkish owner. It makes a change to be served by genuinely friendly people.

Very nice breakfast here at this place on one of the main streets in Malvern. They don't do poached eggs which would have been nice but our scrambled eggs and toast were very nice quality. Service was quick on a quiet weekday morning - no complaints at all.

First impression was a chalked sign stating "cash only". Really? Is the difference between 1.75% iZettle commission and 1% for paying in cash at a bank really sufficient to dissuade customers from purchasing food? Lose one star instantly for irritating your customer.

Have visited Henry's many times and it never disappoints. The man who usually serves is attentive and remembers what you usually order which is a nice touch. The food is cooked perfectly and nothing is too much trouble.

I’m fussy. Things I liked about this cafe are: cleanliness, quality of food (decent sausage in the breakfast), allergens clearly listed, efficient and nice staff. Will be regulars here now discovered.

I had my walk, and I enjoyed the town and the beautiful surrounding nature that is the real wealth of Great Malvern. It was time for a dessert. I came across what seemed to me more of cafe that is also indeed part of the place and its history. The entrance and interior design, colours and aesthetics and its overall atmosphere referred me to a kind of a historical place that is simply part of the heritage and the history that characterizes this very green town.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, reasonably priced, but the flat white coffees we got were worse than a Costa branch a bad day. Perhaps it was a bad day!

We popped in today on a wet Sunday afternoon. My partner had a full breakfast and I had bacon brie and cranberry panini. I didn't want salad so was offered chips instead. My partner had 2 cups of coffee as it was so good. Very friendly chap. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was very tasty and good quality. Will definitely return.

We had a wonderful breakfast in Henry's when we visited Malvern. The man who served us was lovely, nothing too much trouble. The food was piping hot and of good quality. Really recommend this place. Shame we live in Sussex or I would be visiting more often!

We stopped by on arrival in Great Malvern looking for a bite to eat after travelling down. This was just right, good basic food served at a reasonable price. My wife had a burger and chips and I had a salad and chips. Nice and clean can't fault it.

My brother and I wanted a light late lunch and too pot luck with this cafe near the centre of Malvern. We were greeted by the hard working waiter and happily sat in the window. Lovely fresh sandwiches were soon delivered with a good pot of tea. Everything was good quality and very tasty.

It was hot, I was tired and hungry so we went into Henry's. It was a very good choice. The service was friendly and speedy. The menu contained lots of choice for me. I picked smoked salmon and salad sandwich with brown bread. As the waiter left with my order, I thought, I should have asked about the dressing for the salad. I usually don't like dressing. Within minutes the waiter returned with the freshly made sandwich. To my delight he asked what dressing would like, he listed a choice of 4 or 5. I was really pleased as I said, no thanks as I don't like dressing. It was the best smoked salmon I have tasted that I haven't made. The bread was fresh, the salad was crisp and the salmon was tender and tasty. The tea was good too. I always order black tea. The cafe gets an extra star if they don't bring milk, such a waste when I have ordered black tea. So Henry's Cafe gets 6 stars.

A lovely hot morn, went in for some breakfast. Felt very welcome, place nice and clean. A good menu, my wife had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast and i had a lovely bacon butty. Both meals fantastic, fresh and very tasty. Thank you.

After an early morning trip to Malvern my wife and I wanted a good, home cooked breakfast (and not from a `chain`!) and walking down Church Street we spotted a couple eating theirs at a window table in Henry`s Café.. The charming and friendly welcome made us realise we had made the right choice and two `all-day breakfasts later (my wife thought the vegetarian choice was excellent and that can often be a difficult menu to get right) we were happily set up for the morning.

This is still a favourite place for breakfast. I always have the vegetarian version, tasty and well cooked. The coffee is really good. My husband really enjoys the full English breakfast, says the sausages and bacon are very good quality. Service is friendly and efficient. A great place for food and drink whatever the time of day.

Greeted by a friendly member of staff. Ordered scrambled eggs on toast and the toast came pre buttered and was cool. I much prefer to butter my own toast as many people do.

Well we have had several full English breakfasts here when visiting the area from overseas however...on this visit I ordered...

For what you get the cafe is pretty pricey Me and my friend only had a sandwich and milkshake each and it cost about £20.00 we could have gone to cafee nero or costa for that price. Pretty disappointed.

Serves breakfast all day! We were looking to eat around 1pm and my friend wanted a full English Breakfast...so we stopped at Henry's Cafe. The service was excellent, the person who took our order was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. I had a toasted sandwich which was handmade and very good...my friend had the full breakfast. The coffee is Lavazza...decent. Very reasonable prices and nice laid back atmosphere. They don't allow dogs, or I would come more often...but certainly this is the place I will come to for a late breakfast after yoga when I am on my own!

We were served by Henry himself and he was great, very friendly and good to talk to , that with the excellent food made for a most enjoyable visit.

Beautiful picturesque cafe on Church Street offering all the classics you would expect from a cafe style establishment. We went as a family of four with one vegetarian, who didn't struggle for choice. The food was fresh, I would recommend the full English or the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast.Wait time wasn't long and the service from Roxanna was great. Only thing to be prepared for is that they don't take card payments, however there is a ATM just up the road past the tourist information centre.All four of us with a meal and a drink was under £30!We will be back! :)

A quick, plain and simple review this one!NO VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE.There isn't really a great deal else to say... a vegetarian can eat here, but a vegan cannot even get a cup of soya tea.Absolutely zero, nothing. I have not experienced such lack of imagination on a menu in a VERY long time!Nothing!

Henry's is an unpretentious cafe serving simple food, but it does what it does very well indeed. The food is always freshly cooked to order and is served quickly and efficiently. The service is always friendly and polite. And the coffee is delicious.

Have visited Henry's cafe on a few occassions over the last few years. Pleasent little cafe offering classic cafe style food! Which is great as many cafes around the area offer anything but complicated and over priced food and drinks! Whenever I visit I have the cooked breakfast which is good all round! Although a small cafe the usual one staff member is always polite and ensures your are well looked after! Only negative it can be rather cold during the winter months! Nothing that cannot be fixed with an extra heater.

Average food, what u would expect from a greasy spoon. Deep fried basic sausages, over cooked eggs and they butter the toast like we still have rations. Ok food and probably best (only) cafe in Malvern for a English breakfast but don't come to Malvern just for this cafe.

Walking around Malvern we popped in for a late breakfast. It was served quickly and was delicious. Will be coming back.

We go to Henry's almost every weekend. (There were a sad few weeks last summer when it was closed! We were wandering around Malvern like lost puppies...) The atmosphere is cheerful - Farouk and his wife are really friendly. The food is classic English - we always have the veggie breakfast even if we go in the afternoon. A great way to start the day!

Popped in at lunchtime 12.20 and was made welcome and seated straight away. Just wanted a jacket potato & salad and pot of tea. Was served quickly and was able to finish lunch quickly, just what I wanted. Reasonable price.

Henry's café is situated almost at the top of Church St with Abbey Road Malvern .This café as a menu for just about all that visit from sandwiches to hot meal's of all sorts even vegetarian we had the full fry up breakfast what a treat no pre-cooked food here you can git hot & cold drinks as well as cake yes the perfect little café that offers good quality fresh food and drink with prompt service at a reasonable price's so if your in or just visiting Malvern check it out this place is not apart of any chain outlets.

Was slightly reluctant to go in here at first as it was completely empty which I feared might not be a good sign. However, decided to go in and was welcomed by friendly staff. Ordered a sausage and egg sandwich and a soft drink. The sandwich arrived about 10 minutes later. However the bread was so thin it was impossible to pick the sandwich up without it falling apart. The sausages were grisly and there was shell in the egg! The café was clean and the staff were friendly which made up for the not-so-great food.

We arrived and were seated immediately and offered menus. I ordered a cheese omelette with chips and a black coffee my husband ordered burger chips and a tea. The menu is straight forward offering omelettes, burgers and hot sandwiches but it does it well. The coffee was excellent and the omelette was tasty and perfect size. I walk past the cafe most days as I work in Malvern but this is my first visit.

Always a welcoming cafe, with good honest food - full English breakfast, sandwiches, jackets, panini, burgers etc. Good value and central location.

Only stopped for a cup of tea but would have returned for a meal if opportunity had allowed as staff were so friendly and polite. Saw they had details of food served which might be useful for those suffering from allergies. Hpoe to return some day.

A perfect cafe for those who just want a good honest drink and light meal without any pretentiousness. I prefer the small independent cafe's to the 'chain' versions or those which believe in charging inflated prices just because they are in a popular area."Henry's" offers a range of meal and drinks and is perfect for anyone who wants to sit in pleasant surroundings while being treated as a person. We do not visit Malvern very often but when we do this is were we stop for a drink and/or a light meal. Why don't you give it a try?
