Henderson's Cocoa House in North Kesteven

This is my second visit to Henderson’s Cocoa House and it is lovely. I went for a chocolate milkshake this time but would also recommend the hot chocolates which are much better than the competitors’! Lovely handmade chocolates too - Whats not to like?

Forget Hotel Chocolat, forget Godiva...Henderson's chocolates are the best. Fantastic flavours, beautiful designs and excellent variety. Also an amazing café that serves the best mocha/hot chocolate I've ever had. Leagues ahead of any high street chain! If you're travelling to Sleaford/Lincolnshire Henderson's Cocoa House is a must.

Beautiful little place. The chocolates are creatively named, decorated and tasty. The hot chocolate is one of the best white chocolates I have personally tasted. Hoping to book a chocolate workshop soon. Best of all its dog friendly!!!

Excellent, helpful and informative small workshop (there were only four of us) giving an amazing insight into the art of chocolate making. This was not my idea (it was a birthday present) and I would not have chosen it, but REALLY enjoyed it - highly recommended!

Went last night for a 2.5 hr session. Only 4 of us in the class so we had an instructor between 2. The 2 men in the party hadn’t done any chocolate work but the wives had. It was very informative and great fun. The detail on the quality of the ingredients was really useful as well as the advice on which equipment we needed to make chocolates at home. The cost was really good at £150 for the 4 of us. We brought home all the things we made and the 80 chocolates and 36 choc lollipops weighed 3.5lbs!! Which would probably have cost £50 A great and entertaining evening which I would strongly recommend to all adult friends and family.

The quality of this small coffee shop’s is amazing. It is always busy and deserves to be. Its chocolatier products are all made by the owner, who also offers classes. His chocolate products are outstanding and as good as any I have tried across Europe. He and his team always make the customers welcome. The hot chocolate drinks they serve are great.

Amazing tea and chocolate break. Staff are lovely and friendly. Very welcoming. Chocolate is oooh so tasty.

Having visited the shop a couple of times for a drink, we booked onto one of the evening chocolate workshops. What a great experience. Very knowledgeable staff and you can make three types of chocolates from start to finish and also a range of lollipops. At the end of the evening you take home all that you have made.Highly recommended to anyone who wants to know more about the art of being a chocolatier

I first discovered Hendersons in September 2017 and I'm so glad I did. The hot chocolate is the best I've ever had as it's made with real chocolate as opposed to powder. The caramel shortbread slices are amazing, I can't bring myself to order any other kind of cake there as I don't want to miss out on my caramel shortbread fix. This year I've visited nearly every week whilst on maternity leave. The staff are very friendly and make their customers feel very welcome, including my baby daughter. I find Henderson's very reasonably priced and it's a lot cheaper than the chain coffee shops. It has a very relaxed feel, as it's small, not overcrowded and has subtle music playing in the background. It's definitely one of the greatest assets to Sleaford.

This place is cute but very expensive. I’ve been twice but I won’t be going again, the chocolate is lovely though, I did not find the staff friendly.

Fresh hand made chocolates, made on site daily; accompanied by a breath taking hot chocolate in various flavours or a local Stokes coffee. The hot chocolates here are made using only melted chocolate and milk (soya milk also available) and are the perfect balance between sweet and bitter.

I’ve visited Henderson’s cocoa house many times and will always continue to visit. The friendly staff and AMAZING chocolates are what always makes me return here. I would completely recommend Henderson’s over costa any day! Definitely worth a visit.

Tucked away in a small corner of Sleaford, the unassuming Cocoa House is not one to catch the eye. It is small, furnished with brown leather sofas and white wooden chairs intermittently scattered around tables to give a homely, cosy experience. Ambient music is interrupted by a small bell as you step inside, where the hush is broken only by the gentle whirr of the drink machine.

Fabulous little place, friendly staff, there's nothing not to love. Huge selection of chocolates, something to suit everyone's taste.

I have heard a lit about this place so this week my daughter and I went. Had some millionaires shortbread and hot chocolate. It was well worth falling off the diet for. Will definitely be going again.

I've been in quite a few times spent a lot of money on chocolates for gifts,after tasting a certain chocolate with a drink my daughter wanted a box of all the same chocolate,I had to go back and collect them as there wasn't enough made,when we got them home my daughter said that they wasn't the same ones that she had had inside,so I took them back oh dear such a terrible experience,instead of saying oh dear so sorry about that would you like something else,we had oh I saw him making them,and everyone had to taste them,the girl was so rude telling me they was 100 per cent what I asked for and no refund or exchange would be given.!! Not good as it's the customer that keeps your business open.

This used to be the much loved “Cake Hole”. From a coffee and cake shop which already had the best coffee in town, the shop has become since April 2017 the place for the best coffee and the best hot chocolate in town. And do try the in-house handmade chocolates.

Oh the hot chocolate is absolutely lush. No powder here just pure chocolate melted into hot milk either dark, milk or white. On diet days the coffee is great too along with great service. We love it xx

The best hot chocolate, properly done! And the chocolate ganache cake I tried another time was insanely good!

Didn't know about Henderson's until a friend suggested we go. We had a friendly welcome and were spoilt for choice with a delicious selection of hot chocolates and handmade chocolates. The hot chocolates were so chocolatey without being sickly and the chocolates were delectable. I don't think any other hot chocolate will ever taste the same again. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Highly recommend a visit.

I was waved in by Malcolm,he visits regularly he recommended the hot chocolate it was fantastic!!! Everyone must try this it really is amazing,the chocolates are made upstairs,they use this chocolate for drinks it's a must,and buy a few chocolate stirrers omg,great for stocking fillers! Such lovely people that run this hidden gem.

Tucked away down an arcade, this is hands down the best place to stop for a drink in Sleaford. The hot chocolates are decadent and fantastic. The hand made chocolates aren't bad too!

My family and I visit this establishment regularly. The coffee is superb and the chocolate Devine. My young daughter loves the real hot chocolate. It is wonderful to finally have something as nice as this in Sleaford.

I have not tried any chocolate yet. The coffee on the other hand is very nice. Great place to meet with friends. Nice and cosy. Staff very friendly.
