Hebridean Inn Restaurant in Highland

Visited today for lunch with six friends. Received a warm welcome from owner John Coghill. Very impressed by the varied choice of healthy options from the Self Health menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be going again next week. The food and views are amazing, well worth a visit.

Fantastisk oplevelse og vældig søde tjenere. Vi manglede ikke noget, og vi kunne nyde forskellige retter med lokal smag. De havde også en helt fænomenal salt karamel kage med is - som klart er den bedste jeg har smagt❤️🫶🏻 Meget anbefalelsesværdigt

We were looking for somewhere to eat and drink. There was no food, not even bar snacks. The bar person was friendly, but wine and beer selection was poor. I wouldn't recommend visiting.

The food was good enough but wanted to leave a review to say how lively, friendly and interested the two members of staff were. They just seemed to thrive on the variety of tourists who visited. And made them all feel welcome and important.

Decent enough, but hugely overpriced for the portion sizes. We both ordered venison medium rare. One came as asked, the other was verging on well done. Would have liked more veg or chips considering the £28 per serving it cost. Desserts were even more overpriced. £9 for a thin slice of shop bought cheesecake (very disappointed) and £14 for three tiny pieces of cheese is preposterous! This meal cost just short of £90 but we left still feeling slightly hungry.

Wir haben das Restaurant auf der Durchreise zurück zu unserem B&B gefunden und deshalb dort zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und ging auf unsere Wünsche und Fragen ein. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Mein Partner und ich entschieden uns für zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte von der Tageskarte und haben dies definitiv nicht bereut! Beide Gerichte (einmal Dorade und einmal Curry) waren sehr lecker und auch die Portionsgrößen waren angemessen. Absolut empfehlenswert und gerne wieder!

Came for lunch with friends. Welcoming and friendly and amenable to helping with those with any allergies.The food was delicious and good value too. Highly recommend.

We came with local friends. My wife had the lamb shanks and she raved about how good they were. I had the venison that was very good with a great berry sauce. This is definitely a very good choice to eat in Broadford.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Happy to help with specific dietary requirements. Great menu selection which was reasonably priced. Freshly cooked beautifully presented food, particularly enjoyed my oven baked salmon. Restaurant had a really relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. Simply lovely.

Une recommandation de notre logeuse. La salle ne paye pas de mine mais la carte est originale avec des spécialités locales intéressantes. Délicieux saumon fumé (rien mais rien à voir avec celui du supermarché ), surprenant gâteaux de poisson et original Dahl de lentilles à forte inspiration indienne. Les deux serveuses sont ultra efficaces et super sympathiques. Prix corrects, parking juste de l’autre côté de la rue

Très bonne découverte ! Côté plats, le kebab d'agneau et les noix de Saint-Jacques étaient parfaitement préparés et assaisonnés. Côté dessert, le gâteau au chocolat était très réussi ! On recommande.

Really excellent quality food. Fresh, local seafood (Broadford Bay Octopus & whole mackerel tonight) was all fantastic. Aways surprising how rare it is to get really good seafood on Skye, but this is how it should be done. Lovely, friendly staff and a nice room - bay views from the front tables are very good. Good local beers too. Highly recommended.

Accueil très sympa et service professionnel par une jeune serveuse et un jeune serveur. La cartes n'est pas exceptionnelle, mais les mets sont correctement préparés. Grande misère côté carte des vins, mais c'est un problème général en Ecosse. Une bonne adresse à Broadford, sur Skye.

Great food, affable service. The kitchen was kind enough to serve us a bowl from the sample menu on the website even though it was not on the actual menu because of dietary restrictions. The dishes were well balanced and a tad more inventive than usual on Skye. The lamb kebab was absolutely delicious.

Great service and amazing food. At our table we had Venison. Pork belly. Seabream. Caramel chocolate cake. Skye beer on draft. Couldn’t have been better.

We came here for dinner and were very underwhelmed. We had the smoky bean vegetarian main course and the special fish cakes. The food was bland and disappointing. Lots of dry rice and boring salad. Not really worth the price. Lovely staff and view though.
