Hebburn Iona Social Club in South Tyneside

The Iona is a friendly club in the heart of Hebburn town centre, a good pint and a reasonable price, highly recommend but these clubs need all the support they can get, So support your locals

Excellent club great prices great tirns om and prices really good.

Very good working men's type club. Rather like a trip back in time to the 70's. Decent beer at reasonable prices together with the usual darts, doms and snooker. The place was packed at lunchtime due to Newcastle United playing early for Sky TV. I was on my way to Hebburn FC v FC Utd Manchester. Called back for a beer after the game before metro back to the Toon.

Just want to thank the Iona Club for making our Silver Wedding on Friday a special night Thanks to the Bar staff, Cleaners and the Steward for helping us set up and organise the room. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a celebration / party night.

The club was warm and welcoming and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I was there at the wake of my dear Aunt and yhe family have used the club for decades.

Never been in. Looks tired on the outside but, the inside is lovely and clean and cheap drinks

Attended for an 'event'. Not somewhere I usually go. Staff are friendly, drinks are a great price so if you're into social clubs I'd recommend it.

Sociable club, in the bar, lounge or concert room. Great drink prices. If you feel at all uncomfortable, speak to the bar staff they will make you feel welcome. Amazing choice of country music on a Sunday evening.

Sadly this was after a beautiful friend's funeral 💔 but the Club and Staff were fantastic.

My experience at this club really dissapointing to me, I'm not a religious person and when I requested to become a member of the club I was told because I could be Catholic I wasn't allowed to join, which I could say is as bad as racism, in this day and age that is not acceptable especially in the United Kingdom??? I will be taking this to my local mp and even further if I can, it is totally unacceptable to be like that in this day, hopefully some action will be taken to stop this singling out and basicly racism were all allowing these days,.... Shame on you #ionaclub hebburn

We held a Birthday party on the 22nd October, and from making the booking at this Fantastic venue with the best hosts, they couldn't do any more to make us feel welcome and ensured it would be a great night that we would remember. Highly recommend using this venue again A1

Very good staff abit slow getting empty glasses .Glasses piling up on tables and staff standing behind bar doing nothing.

Tuesday nights in the lounge are celebrations of mainly Irish heritage, with music, song and drink and good company.
