Swan’s Cafe & Catering in South Tyneside

Placed a large party order, left a sizeable deposit, order turned up half missing, promised a refund by some bloke called Jason Swan. Still waiting. Avoid this establishment

We had the loveliest experience today, went in for a coffee and toastie and was met with the warmest reception from not only the lovely staff but the decor which was so homely. Really fair prices and great quality food and drink. Mary was so kind and gifted us some spring rolls which we will enjoy thoroughly. Would recommend to anyone to visit here! We will be back!

Went for first time, great food, good prices, really lovely staff. Lovely, cosy, quirky place to visit. Will definitly be returning.

Absolutely 1st class. Service, friendly staff and the food is the best. Mary and her assistants are very welcoming.

We were travelling south on the A19 searched online for cafes and called in for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the decor friendly service and variety of food on the menu. We will call again

Great variety of tasty home cooked food served by friendly and attentive staff. Menu changes daily so always the chance of finding something you like and price is good value.

Lovely cafe with warm atmosphere and fabulous and friendly people. Sunday lunch was delicious.

Great local place for freshly cooked food with ample portions and homely atmosphere. And my son says "Their toast and apple juice is to die for and plus their carrot cake is made from angels."

Great food and prices, excellent Sunday roast

Went for Christmas lunch. It was delicious! Lots of meat and a good range of well cooked veg. Will definitely be back. Room was a tad cold but we were sitting on a long table and I got the door end!! Value for money ++

POSS-Friendly cafe on the fellgate estate with very spacious seating and wide selection menu. The staff are friendly and the cafe is dog friendly. I am visually impaired,using an assistance dog.Everyone was very welcoming and assistive to me needs. I ordered a coffee and sat in. Then ordered a Take Away Sunday dinner (which was delicious-mince and dumpling). Interior of the cafe is spacious and a wheelchair/rollator or pram can easily manuvour around. The decor is very festive at the moment.looks very pretty,cute and bespoke. CONS- door to cafe is not ramped so not wheelchair accessible. I use a cane and there are 2 small steps into the cafe. I am looking forward to me second visit.

First time here had a fantastic beef Sunday dinner..so home made the yorkshires were lush and beef melted in your mouth. Coming on tue to try a full English!!!

Just had a roast beef dinner with my mother and I can honestly say it was absolutely lovely and would thoroughly recommend Swan’s cafe to everyone…will definitely be using it again

Swans cafe a great addition to fellgate nice home cooked food and friendly staff. I've been twice first time for Sunday dinner was a ok tho can't see them doing any damage on the lakeside covers as its boltic if ya sitting inside that will need addressed it if thay want to pack the place out and pull trade from local competition. There full English breakfast was lovely and when thay say big thay mean it not like Morrisons. Any builders working in the area this is ya go to place for your quality bait thay do takeaway aswel. So come on support this business

Pooped into swans today for a cuppa and ended up having some breakfast. The 2 ladies that were in were lovely friendly and happy to matter even though they were working. Clean and totally delicious. We can't wait to try the Sunday dinners. The menu looks amazing and the prices are brilliant . Proper home cooked food and a descent mug of coffee not a tiny cup 😉. See you soon lovely ladies . Brilliant little cafe. Full English are to die for and the menu is extensive and very reasonable.
