Hearth Pizza in Plymouth

Tried for 3 nights to order a delivery … the first two nights they weren’t accepting orders and on the third and final evening I pre-ordered and had my order rejected. I give up!

We had the vegan pizza which is just cheese and tomato. They could do with updating the vegan cheese to something like plant based cathedral city or Illchester vegan melting mature as the taste wasn’t anything to write home about. Also could do with more toppings but at £2 each addition it’s a bit much to ask. The curly fries were really very nice as were the dips. This place is a takeaway but also advertised as a restaurant but is a student bar type area.

Absolutely delicious. A puffy base loaded with toppings. Some may say it’s a little pricey, and perhaps they are correct but, to be honest one to share whilst enjoying Bulletproof’s booze is perfect.

I think the portions considering its also a bread product should be bigger for the price. The pepperoni pizza I had was very good ,quite juicy tasty with a very good quality flavour to the tomato sauce . A bit different to the chains and worth a go

Had never heard of a Detroit pizza. Nor had I seen these types and configurations of toppings on anything purporting to be a pizza. The bases are made of focaccia and the broad and tasty selection of inventive and substantial loads need careful selection but will satisfy any appetite and readily complement most of the lagers and ales available at Bulletproof who have for several weeks hosted the Hearth Pizza business. I was fortunate to have an enthusiastic briefing by the chefs early one evening. They mean what the say and produce what they promise. They have the hardware and the expertise. They are particularly good at getting flavours to soak into the bases. If they or other punters don’t get some pics of the produce on here soon we will take some ourselves on our next visit.
