I’m sure the food is very nice, not that I’ll ever know because after 25 minutes of waiting for scrambled eggs, I gave it up as a bad job. If you’ve got infinite time, crack on.

Our wedding reception was absolutely beautiful, the room was stunning, the food was brilliant and the staff was all polite, helen the manager was so helpful, and made sure we had all that we needed. We would definitely use the there room again for a private function.

Had my baby shower here and the room is absolutely beautiful, lovely staff also, and this room was the cheapest we found and the amount of effort that is put in is fantastic, will definitely book again! Thankyou xxxxxx

It's members only plus a guest. They're selling Mansfield beer which was a really good pint in the first lounge bar but not as good in the concert bar.

Was there celebrating a 50th birthday party. I forgot l was attending a party as it looked like a wedding reception. The room looked lovely. The ceiling was draped in white with little lights & the table & chairs was covered in white with pink bows at the back of the chair. The birthday lady & her daughter did a fantastic job with the food. There was a bar & the drink's were a pretty good price & the DJ was playing some banging dance floor old school music 🎵🎶💃🕴️ Great atmosphere 😀 Wood deffo recommend for any venue 🤗

I was attending a 50th birthday party there. When I walked into the room, l almost forgot l was attending a birthday party. It looked like a wedding reception. The DJ was just brilliant 😃 He was playing banging dance songs 💃🕺 The pub drink's prices was amazing 🍻🍾🥂 Just lovely all round 🤗

Went here for New Years celebrations from Ireland. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Fabulous staff, amazing management and the best of craic. I was made very welcome by all the locals in the pub. Decided to go the night after too, and the atmosphere was just as good. Great choice of music being played by DJ and live singer too. Food served on both nights also which is very handy when having a few pints. Other activities available too in the premises and lots of room for private parties. The pints of Guinness were just perfect too.

Vi esto en Tripadvisor. Estaba buscando un pub local cerca de donde me estaba quedando, así que pensé en dar un paseo. No es mi tipo de pub habitual, pero debo decir que fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba cuando entré. Las cervezas son bastante estándar, la decoración es decente, pero la gente es genial, lo que hace que sea un buen pub en mi opinión

Este pub estaba muy cerca de nuestro ser y ser. Quería tomar una "pinta" en un pub real, inglés. Comenzó a hablar con una señora muy agradable que estaba jugando al billar. Su compañero de piscina se unió a nosotros poco después. Resulta que la dama (Helen) era dueña del lugar y el chico que estaba con ella (Brendan) era su novio, y él operaba el camión de comida afuera durante el día. Se desvivieron de darnos información, nos dieron hielo, papel de aluminio y nuestras bebidas estaban en la casa. Simplemente no puedo enfatizar lo agradable que eran los dueños y clientes de este establecimiento. Sin duda volveremos.

Popped in on the way to see friends and ended up staying until last orders. Great atmosphere with great people. Everyone was friendly and when I first arrived there was a singer on who was very good. Even had a go at sticky thirteens ( didn’t win ) but the landlady was very funny and made the experience very good. The staff were also very friendly and kept things running smoothly. I’d recommend a visit and if you’re a Guinness drinker like myself then it’s the best pint outside of the Guinness brewery in my opinion. Thank you Headstocks

Vine para una fiesta en la sala de actos y qué increíble descubrimiento. . la habitación era preciosa y el personal muy acogedor. El catering fue muy agradable y era tan fresco. Definitivamente reservaremos nuestra próxima fiesta familiar allí. . Tomé algunas fotos para mostrarles todo.

Won't be eating or drinking there again. If the owners and management of the headstocks let customers have their dogs lay full length on the table top without saying anything, what goes on in the background.

Saturday afternoon 13/1/18 for the half five kick between Forest & Villa on SkyTV, must admit not my choice of pub, my mates, it was packed solid with youth & blokes some in work clothes, a proper local, quite happy that I recognized a few lads I knew, the Theakstones bitter was very good, even the dark one my mate brought me by mistake good atmosphere, pity Forest did not! After the football was a DJ spinning some classic Northern Soul, I would have no problems going again.

Typical local-as in-full of the type of clowns you would cross the street to avoid.sitting between Bulwell and Basford you can imagine the braintrust of clients it entertains...two things that mark it out as somewhere to avoid-Sky sports/family friendly...after a few sojurns there myself,i now know why-even though I only live 5 minutes walk away-I`ve avoided it all these years,

Tried this pub as a change from the hotel bar. Bit run down. Beer was okay. Only serve food on Sunday. Staff pleasant.

Great atmosphere place was buzzing. Served very quick and with a smile. We got free food at half time which was a bonus.. Will definitely return !

The staff are the best,we have regular meetings here,and are provided with tea/coffee at very good rates? Most of the members also have a lunch,and for the price are very good! The only problem I find with the pub are the toilets ,though clean are not in a good state of repair,hence my rating!

Called in for lunch which was amazing and Had an artist on Sunday's 5pm and the atmosphere was brilliant .. Wish I lived nearer X

The Sunday lunches are cooked and presented very well Staff are so friendly Dinner cost 6.95 with choice of 3 meats Or small child size dinner for 3.95 You can't fault it we go most Sundays Plenty veg and gravy anything you ask for nothings too much trouble, Puddings reasonable priced under £3 Must try you won't regret it

A few of us went to the headstocks for sunday dinner and its the best for miles around all home cooked !! x then we joined in with the fun and games in the bar fantastic music and buzzing atomosphere and pub worth while going to xx

Called here today with family! One word, Brilliant! Its a proper pub with great car park and helpful staff, food came very quickly and the plate was hot and staked high with veg & meat.. One complaint is that its too cheap! try this pub for good food and nice people

No thrills good little pub, seems to be child friendly and a nice little beer garden/ deck, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Serves a great breakfast, and delicious Sunday dinner... Staff great and it's a real nice local pub. Got a happy hour 4-7pm 20p off draught ale.
