The food in here is amazing. We ordered 2 x tapas each which was plenty. I am a vegetarian and there were plenty of choices for me. Its up a side street but definitely worth finding. Also spoke to the manager who made us feel very welcome.

Visited for brunch in the week. The scrambled eggs were delicious as was the veggie breakfast. Gorgeous barista coffee made with care. The staff are friendly, welcoming and care about their service. We will definitely return.

I went with my girlfriend, we ordered margaritas :-) we have been a few times now. We had a seafood platter and a mixture of tapas dishes. Very tasty, we had a very nice time. Staff were friendly, restaurant was nice and clean. I recommend to everyone

Visited on a Friday evening whilst staying in Leamington and were surprised to find we were 1 of only 2 tables taken for the whole evening. The waitress was lovely and the tapas dishes quite nice, not amazing though. We were then told at 8.45 that the kitchen was closing so if we wanted deserts we'd need to order straight away, even though we'd only just finished the mains, and when booking you're given a 2 hour slot. We ordered 2 portions of churros but they were both fairly small and hard - left for a disappointing end to what would have been a nicer evening. We expected better going on previous reviews, but maybe it was just an off night.

Terrible!!!! Expensive!!! The prawns in batter and calamari were overcooked. The lettuce that accompany it was wilted, old and pointless even being on the plate. The Nachos were dry and over baked, the pulled pork was tasteless and cold. Our starter which was a £41 platter had barely enough food for 3, and the accompaniment of sources were cheap bottled sweet chilis and Nandos Perinase (yes we saw in the kitchen).

We had an Amazing girls lunch with cocktails here and the food was just Delicious! Cotails were also nice! We felt very welcome

I found myself without plans today and thought I would treat myself. I have been wanting to try Habano for quite some time now but never seemed to have the right crowd or time to go. So as I was walking past I thought why not. The staff were really lovely and friendly. The food came out within great time and it was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. As it was a nice day there were a few families out and about and they seemed to enjoy the great service and attention that was given to them. I would highly recommend trying Habano if you have the chance.

Meeting, in Leamington, an old friend for a lunch catch up. Not being familiar with the town centre used google to look at availability. This restaurant promises a different vibe and with an interesting menu we decided to give it a go. First impressions where promising and we were greeted and shown a table. There is a small outside space but we stayed in side. We had jambalaya and quesadillas. Not experts but we all thought they were both excellent. To drink we had a draft lager and coffee. Overall a fairly simple restaurant offering good cheerful service. If you like this style of food then recommend.

Really tasty food, a good selection. Friendly service. Good prices. Pleasant atmosphere. The nachos with with pulled pork are probably the best.

We had some lovely interesting food for lunch on Saturday. Very much enjoyed the Caesar Romero with Cuban Slaw. Relaxed but efficient service. Would definitely go again

LOVE this place! We arrived in Leamington Spa at lunchtime so I looked for cafes on here and spotted Habano. What a great find! English breakfast, and the most amazing omelette - served piping hot in a cast iron dish! Enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner and really enjoyed a chicken burrito and pulled pork enchilada. Again, the food and service was second to none. Can’t recommend this place highly enough; the relaxed atmosphere is spot on.

Great food, friendly service. A little short on space, but that probably enhances the charm in a way. I discovered it 'by chance' several years ago when it was new in Leam, but it's remained one of my favourites that always spring to mind when I find myself in town at lunchtime.

Really nice food, highly recommend the burrata which was delicious. Plenty of GF options and lovely cocktails - including a lovely espresso martini! Was nice atmosphere, relaxed, busy but not heaving. Will definitely be returning!

A little gem! Quite small but has little outdoor area out the back too. Perfect for couples but a family with a pram were there so there is room for that too. Food was amazing with lots to choose from. Great coffee too. Reasonably priced. We went for brunch but will make a point of coming back later in the day to get a different atmosphere and try their wine. Service was good. Large toilets downstairs.

What a delightful place! We decided to go here based on the churros reviews - and they didn't disappoint! My son (9) and I enjoyed a few tasty tapas dishes followed by churros and some delicious bunuelos. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. This place has a naturally 'warm' atmosphere ✨️ Thank you. We’ve been several times for brunch and tried various dishes which have always been great. Today we went for lunch and thought the food was good. I had a chicken & halloumi salad which was excellent and a huge portion. My partner had a baguette which he said was tasty too (again big portions). The service was excellent, it’s a lovely little local place & has a great atmosphere compared to many of the chains locally.

It was first ever experience in this restaurante, and I can say I was very impressed with the staff. They are very friendly and warm welcoming. The food was very delicious and didn’t take too long to come. I was very satisfied with the customer service, I surely recommend it to anyone!!

Dropped in for lunch. Ordered the quesidillas and a chicken with salad and rice bowl. Both dishes very oily and not good value. The bill was nearly £30 for the 2 meals and 2 coffees. Waitress was charming, but I wouldn't go again.

My mother and I attended on a Saturday morning and couldn't have asked for better service from Raymundo. The service was quick and friendly, good variety on breakfast menu with dairy free options, lovely strong coffee and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go back for breakfast and excited to try the dinner menu.

I discovered this place a few months ago and it has become a favourite place to eat out in Leamington . The menu offers a great variety of cuban/latin inspired dishes including tapas and a few other traditional choices, as well as an all day breakfast menu. Came here for a late birthday treat and had a feast of loads of tapas dishes and enjoyed every single one. A friend had a cocktail and also really enjoy their hot drinks too . Oh and Habano salad is amazing - basically what I am trying to say is their kitchen /chefs are incredibly talented. In addition, service is always friendly and staff are smiley , polite and welcoming. Prices are good . Enjoy it and looking forward to many more great lazy afternoons and fun evenings here for different occasions or just to chill with a great cappuccino.

We popped in late morning to see if we could eat later with our dog - rather gingerly the woman who runs it said yes, that she'd reserve us the table by the window. And I'm so glad she did! Swift service (we were running out to time on parking), and lovely authentic Cuban food - my gambas e chorizo was wonderful. Nice milk-shakes too

great establishment with bundles of character! I'm fed up of chain restaurants and cafes serving up the same boring stuff. this place has character and individuality. coffee is superb and you must try the Cuban Huevos Rancheros ...... amazing!

We had great food here at Habano’s, we were attracted to this cafe as the reviews were good but also we love trying different food cultures. It was nice visiting somewhere different and the place was full of quirky vibes. The menu was full of good choices, it was really tough sticking to the one meal. The owner was really friendly and pleasant and the decor of the cafe was vibrant. We hope we can return one day.

Whilst the cocktails leave some to be desired, the breakfasts were amazing. It was also a plus, that we both picked the ones that take the longest to make, hence I could finish my coffee first. Genuinely cannot wait to go back for breakfast or lunch, even, both menus looked really good.

Ate here for the first time, really nice space and themed decor. Staff were really friendly and attentive.We ordered the burger and pulled pork fajitas, with a tapas side of lamb. The fajitas were amazing, def recommend - see picWill try a selection off the tapas menu next time for sure

We have been to Habano for lunch and for dinner and it has consistently impressed us! Great food, great drinks, great staff. Really enjoyable experience + we will definitely be back.

So pleased to return for restful weekend brunch at Habano. Revolution has never tasted so good nor been such good value. Che Guevara would get my vote.

We had some takeaway quesadillas . So lovely. Definitely coming back. Server was very welcoming also. Cant say how much churros was good.

Have been many times over the years as the food is very nice and different to what you get in all of the other cafes/restaurants in Leamington.We have never had any issues before, but on our past 3 visits they have tried to overcharge us. Thankfully I always check the bill.Such a shame as a nice lunch turns a bit sour. We would definitely recommend the food, but just check your bill.

Called in on spec today for a coffee and sandwich, what a great surprise. Fantastic coffee and the sandwich served with salad was absolutely excellent. Would wholely recommend. Only down side, they serve Estrella and SuperBoc and I was driving 😢 Will definitely be back.

My wife and I recently passed our 56th wedding anniversary so we had our celebratory dinner at the Habano Restaurant in Leamington. It is run by Budgie who also runs the excellent Caffe Vita in High St. Rugby. The meal was superb, we were spoilt for choice in fact and the prices are reasonable too. It was a lovely evening.Open as a coffee and tapas bar during the day, the Cuban styled establisment is a full blown restaurant at night. If sharing dishes are your thing then you are well and truly catered for. On the other hand individual meals to meet most tastes are also on the menu. Thoroughly recommended. Habano Comidas Cubanas

Been here a couple if times. Friendly service. The sausages are to die for !! Warm crusty bread, and baked beans with chorizo. Great breakfast, worth every penny

We have eaten here several times but on this occasion the waiter completely missed one of the meal orders, so my daughter had to watch us eat while hers was being cooked and vice versa when hers eventually arrived, was given small discount which did not make up for this mistake, service was always good on first few visits but the last few times there has been small things missed or forgotten but this was a big miss so it will be a good while before we return again I am afraid

Visited here for the second time and again the food was very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Coffee was superb. Nice to see the toilets have been painted since our last visit and standards of service are still excellent. We will definitely return. A great little independent gem in Leamington.

Popped in for coffee and cake, lovely little place. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Didn’t get a chance to have the tapas style food but it looked yummy! I will definitely be back to try the food and see what it’s like in the evening for cocktails!

Met my partner here for lunch and enjoyed A lovely rice /chorizo/prawn dish, really tasty, excellent service, good price, so disappointed when I needed to visit the loo, really poorly appointed, but poor tiling etc aside.. The radiator was thick with greasy dirt, nothing seemed properly clean, led me to wonder what the kitchen was like, unlikely to revisit based purely on this, which is a real shame.

This place is warm, cosy, delicious and the service is always friendly and welcoming.The menu is nutritious, filling and has exciting Latino flavours. We had the huevos rancheros and the tortillas, salsa and beans combined to make it a very satisfying start to our lazy weekend. Do try their hot chocolate too, as I would rate it well in the top 3 places in the county. The dark chocolate flakes on the creamy froth makes it a marvelous, warming and lightly spiced drink for the winter months.

It was my birthday and I just fancied a quiet lunch with my wife somewhere other than a pub. I am very familiar with Leamington and had seen this place many times. It met my expectations perfectly. It was around 12.30 and there were a few people lunching already. The decor and atmosphere was perfect for my quiet birthday lunch. The service was prompt and very helpful and polite, unfortunately I did not get the mans name who served us.

We have been fairly regular visitors of Habano for years, we have collected a fair few loyalty cards as we often forget to take them with us and have to ask for a new one in order to collect the stamps. recently I collected all the cards together and realised that one of the cards had a full set of stamps entitling us to a free cup of coffee.

I have eaten here regularly over the last few years. The food is good, love the Fidel Castro full breakfast particularly, but there seems to be a problem with service more recently. On my last three visits, I have walked out on one occasion, because no-one came to serve me, and on the other two, there was no follow up to see if I wanted another drink, or anything else to eat, after my meal and 1st coffee.

I leave in Leamington and go there quite often. The food and coffee are delicious and the service always excellent. Prices reasonable as well. Saturdays have someone playing guitar or piano and it adds up to the atmosphere. Lovely place.

This independent coffee house is perfect for meeting up with friends and family. They make the best hot chocolate! Can recommend the quesadilla... they are scrumptious served with guacamole salsa and slaw ... complete with fries! Reasonably priced, friendly, no fuss cafe.

I really liked it and will be making it a regular spot to call in at. Today I was served with friendliness and politeness and was very pleased to be able to order freshly squeezed orange juice. I like the decor very much. Sadly, the steps at the entrance are not ideal for everyone, but I don't know if there is another way in.

A sunny day and we decided on the spur of the moment to go out for breakfast and we are very glad we did. I have often had coffee here but this is the first time I have had breakfast with them and it won't be the last! I had the most stunning meal I can remember (and I am very picky!) which was a tortilla with re-fried beans, egg, cheese and topped with bacon. Fresh, slight kick of chill, incredible bacon. My son had a toasted muffin with egg and bacon which he thought the nicest he has ever had. He had freshly squeezed orange juice which he found fantastically fresh and different to any other drink he has ever tasted. Coffee is 100% the best in town - and there are vast numbers of cafes in town so this is some achievement. Oh and you get a free home made biscuit with it! The food took a while to arrive but my goodness it was worth it. So fresh and fabulous quality bacon. Service was lovely - such a friendly place.

we have visited here 2 weeks running for Breakfast, it was so good the first time we decided to go back, we can recommend the full breakfast which was really good and the coffee is great and strong, the cakes look amazing too so will have to return to try these another time

Stumbled upon this place in February when the sun was shining. Food was amazing and the owner graciously allowed us to smoke in the patio bit.

Been a few times and wonderful experience.

I had vegetarian tapas and it was all very good. The wilted spinach dish could have been a little bigger but was totally yummy, as were the empanadas and black bean dip. Great margaritas and they went well with the dishes I chose. We will be back

I've been there for dinner and lunch and they're both amazing with good and traditional food and a fresh selection of beers, cocktail and sangria. Cheap prices and great tapas for dinner. I personally enjoyed the pulled pork in the Cuban baguette. Recommended!

Amazing little restaurant and coffee shop. Friendly staff, they offer student discount as well as having a wide variety of food and drinks. They have a little outdoor area undercover out the back for in the summer as well.

Came here for brunch me and my family. Greeted with a smile from mike the owner very knowledgeable of what he had too offer and took our coffee orders. Freshly made our coffee was the best I have tasted in Leamington I was a coffee architect customer but after coming here never again. We then all ordered the breakfast and the quality of the sausage was very highly standard all was cooked well and tasted amazing. Best value for money excellent service and excellent coffee and food. We are now regular customers and will be trying there steaks next time we dine out for the evening.

Went in a group. Our food came 2 hours after the time we had booked. Starters and mains all mixed up. Some came half hour after others. Staff didn’t know what was going on. They couldn’t keep track of bill. Rude male (manager?) spoke aggressively to my friend.

My friend and I frequent this Restaurant quite regularly, and always receive a warm welcome, a good cup of coffee or tea and an equally good piece of cake. Have not actually eaten anything else from the menu, but would imagine it was be acceptable.

Excellent Cuban coffee, the only in the West Midlands. Mike the owner entertains with deadpan humour, while I get on with my email. Laptop friendly with a good atmosphere, and no queue outside the door like some other Leamington coffee shops.

Decided to visit Habano for the first time on Sunday. A very pleasant place. Coffee was good and reasonably priced.

We’ve been in Leamington awhile but only recently discovered this place. It oozes atmosphere; the coffee is great, I love the murals of Cuba, the seating is intimate and the food is great. Last time we had the potaje for lunch; a kind of tomato based chunky soup but with sweet potato and other herbs. Heaven on a winters day! The time before that we had the burrito bowl. Equally fab. This place is much more interesting than your usual franchise and delivers on the food and drink too. My only fear is that people read this and it’s gets too busy and we won’t get a seat next time!

This is not the first time we've been here but I thought it was time to tell everyone what a nice friendly place it is and how the food has always been outstanding. The staff is very friend,y is the atmosphere is warm and relaxed whether you are having breakfast or just a coffee, or a full meal.

This privately owned independent coffee shop offers something a bit different to the typical High Street outlets in our towns and cities today.

Recommend Habano highly. Staff were excellent, food was lovely and nice selection of drinks. I had fish and it was perfectly cooked.

Really relaxed atmosphere, rice and beans are to die for and that's only the start. We had really flavoursome food in all three courses, and they sell Cigars! Can't wait to return. Coffee is superb. A true taste of Cuba😀

We booked this restaurant on Saturday for an evening meal at 8.30, it had a good vibe with a guy playing a guitar in the background which we we’re expecting. It’s a small place , good drinks and food was good .

There are about a million places to have coffee / breakfast / lunch in Leamington, but this is my favourite. Superb Cuban coffee - easily the best in Leamington, great breakfasts (the Fidel Castro is great!), and the service is friendly & efficient.

First class service, first class food, first class beer. If you haven’t been here you are missing out! Can’t wait to come back again.

Very nice Cuban coffee and Portugese tart for just £4.20 each. Good sized cup of delicious coffee served in a proper cup and saucer. A nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A pleasant change from the usual well known chains.

Our daughter had just started uni at Warwick, we went up for a family birthday and decided on Leamington Spa for a spot of Sunday lunch. We were heading toward a Thai restaurant but as we were passing Habano decided to go there instead since Mexican is one of our favourite cuisines although Habano bills itself as Cuban. There were six of us, but they managed to fit us in with a bit of a squeeze. The restaurant is long and narrow with a small alfresco area to the rear and was soon full. We had Nachos for starters; one veggie, one pulled pork which were very tasty but not huge portions for £8 and £8.50 but were authentic nacho chips not just tortilla chips although the quac and salsa did not seem to be home made. Mains were the potaje, quesadillas both pulled pork and chicken, chicken burger and burritos both bowl and wrap. Again these were very good with not huge amounts of filling but enough for lunch and better value than the nachos. All in all a very good overall experience and would definitely return.

Really disappointed with my visit to Habanos this evening. The service was terrible. The staff member who served us seemed completely clueless about the menu and didn’t get our order right, despite asking us several times. They missed two items off our order, good job we weren’t that hungry! The tapas was reasonable but not great value for the portion sizes. The staff also kept on disappearing into the kitchen for prolonged periods of time so quite often there were no staff in the actual restaurant. The lack of atmosphere (it was pretty much empty when we were there at half 8-9 on a Friday night) and the poor service means we won’t be visiting again.

First date went perfectly. Excellent food, friendly staff, good atmosphere. I didn't tried the coffee here, but I read other ppl comments saying it's excellent. I love it.

I have been to Habano a few times recently to have a coffee during the day, and even a light lunch. This has always been pleasant, and has made a pleasant change. It offers consistently good coffee and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Very surprised it was guac from a packet and not fresh. Prawn entree was good. Burger ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.

A nice quiet night with excellent food and very good wine....cocktails are not great for the money very weak indeed..

So, this was a change! An extensive menu to choose from and reasonably priced.

Habano has a lovely relaxed and friendly vibe. The staff were helpful and attentive, the food was very tasty and fresh. Good choices on the menu without being overwhelming. There was a bit of a wait for the whole fish which we were told about before ordering, but that didn’t worry us, it was being cooked from fresh and the staff kept us informed along the way. Such a nice place we were happy to wait, have a drink and listen to the live music. My partner, who is Portuguese was delighted to see Super Bock on tap too.

I highly recommend this restaurant, tonight we had the tapas & it was delicious. I hope this restaurant manages to fight the ‘#chain and stays around for ages.” Lovely staff, food & wine. What more do you need! Go & try!
