Harvester Wych Way Inn in Wychavon

Always well looked after and really good food. Salad bar is very much appreciated as are the very good range of dressings.

Unfortunately this was our third consecutive poor visit. It is unbelievable that this is the same brand as the Worcester branch. We live in 2 mins from this branch but since our last terrible visit we have persisted with preferring a 40 minute round trip to the Worcester branch. However last night with us being booked to go to Encharted Gardens at the nearby Webbs we thought we would give them 1 last chance. Unfortunately nothing has changed. Firstly despite reserving a table we were put on the wobbliest table you’ve ever seen. It was like something out of Harry Potter. They had stuffed napkins under one of the legs but it made little difference. Service was slow, they forgot our salad bowls (and the tables around us) so we had to grab our own. However this was pointless as salad bar as previous visits was near empty. What was there was atrocious. If the Tomatoes are from the last 48 hours then I’m the king. Light red on outside shades of black on the inside and bitter in taste has clearly gone off. Most of the other tubs were empty as they were on the second trip up. No plates for bread rolls. We didn’t complain as on the last 2 visits we just got a load of excuses so no doubt we would of got the same. I did say to my wife I would say something if asked but no one checked on us or asked how it was when we paid. We almost always tip but just couldn’t justify leaving one with such sub standard and gone off food, slow and disengaged service. As stated it literally couldn’t be any different from the Worcester branch, which has interested friendly staff, fresh and full salad bar, lovely atmosphere. To think these 2 restaurants are 6/7 miles apart and part of same chain is incredible. They are worlds apart in standards. Never ever returning here

Absolutely lovely meal. Ana was amazing all night. She was so thoughtful about allergies and making sure we were happy with everything. Such a sweet women who made sure we were okay and happy with delightful little chats and such a good customer service approach.

Regular visitor to the Wychway Inn some staff are very lazy and unhelpful but today I was served by a lady called Fiona who could not do enough for me and my party and went above and beyond to meet our requirements and orders great service from Fiona

Awful. Not one redeeming feature I’m afraid. All food and drink poor. Cocktail was like Vimto. Chicken so dry it was inedible. Salad bar very poor selection. Extremely long wait. Worst service I’ve had in years. So over priced it’s unreal. Just woeful

Went back after a long break from this restaurant because standards had dropped. The fact that they had sent a 40% of voucher made us try again. But not a lot has changed. Still not got half the menu. But prices have kept with inflation and more. Just average.

Decided to visit while we were staying at the Holiday Inn next door. Staff were really friendly especially Lily who looked after us while we there. Food was really nice and I would definitely recommend the rotisserie chicken as both me and my other half had it and we loved it. The kids also enjoyed their food, decent sized meals for those as well. The salad bar was nice although would be nice for a little bit more variety on there, maybe some different flavoured pasta or even rice.

Had the groupon deal which is extremely good value. Two courses , two people £27. It’s a limited menu but still extensive enough. You can still have the salad bar to make it to three courses. The food was good and service excellent even though they were extremely busy. I’d return and recommend

Had an e mail from harvester to celebrate my birthday . I wish they hadn't . Took an eternity to get served. Complimentary salad bar a joke as there was only. Lettuce tomato sweet corn pineapple pasta beetroot. When we did get served by the time the waitress had finished laughing and joking at a large table near us . she had the nerve to say sorry about the delay its manic tonight . I thought well if you concentrated on your job rather than think if I suck up to a large table I should get a big tip.. Once we did get served it arrived quite quick. I had a burger that was over done and chips the same over done . The other half had scampi which was dry and chips were hard like mine. This is where it gets worse. Either the burger was off or the pepsi machine pipes need checking. All I've done all day is go to the loo numerous times and been sick all day..I feel so rough. Nothing worse than being ill all day. I had to have a day off work I was that bad.

We have visited Wych Way Inn Harvester on several occasions. The food is always good value if you opt for the meal deal or have voucher codes. Sharon has definitely been one of the friendliest and most efficient waitresses we have encountered. The salad is always good, but staff were a bit slow to replenish some items that had run out. The main courses were average quality, as the steak and other meats were all a bit chewy, but the desserts made up for it! The chocolate and banana waffle was amazing and definitely one of the best desserts I have had in a long time! We will definitely be back, but would choose a quieter time (not Friday night) as there was a much longer wait for food compared to previous visits.

Sharon was very helpful as I have good allergies, made it clear of what I could and couldn't have. Also very pleasant!!!!

Friendly staff and good service. Good burger and chips reasonable priced, plates, salad bowls and dessert bowls covered in water marks and felt dirty. Presentation could be better here, a quick wipe after the dishwasher has finished. Desserts are heavily overpriced at £7 when you can consider a modern British restaurant will charge £9-£11 and the standard is so much higher. Wouldn’t bother with a dessert, quality is poor but fills a gap. The kids portion looked a better option. If we hadn’t had 25% off the food it would have been daylight robbery.

The chips were stale. The steak was tough Your charging high prices for .mediocre.food..your selling chicken advertised as a quarter ..its a leg..maybe you should be looking at the anatomy of a chicken .rather than your bottom line ..I am so fed up with branded pubs taking advantage of good working people ..I suggest we all start supporting our independent landlords .that put quality before margins and the low wages you get away with..

After having multiple problems regarding the portal booking/menu system for our Xmas day dinner for 10 people we voiced our concerns (following countless phone calls and emails) to Becca who reassured us all was going to go as planned… we were notified after paying over £550 that unfortunately we’d been double booked and our mealtime would be rescheduled to 3pm from 2pm which we accepted without complaint. Upon our arrival a friendly waitress showed us to our table and started reading out the prebooked meals.. everything was wrong and we were then told that there may not be enough ‘stock’ to fulfill our booking?? Becca was updating stock data so the waitress (unfortunately didn’t get her name),, went to see her. I also asked to see Becca and was told she’d be over to talk to us when her stock update was completed. After 20 mins the waitress asked if Becca had been over - she hadn’t and we were then told she would be over shortly - she never came over. The waitress did bring good news however.. all our meals were actually in stock - this was 40mins after our arrival… starters came out pretty quickly and were acceptable… tables were cleared promptly and then we were told our mains would be out shortly… we waited and waited.. an hour later the mains finally arrived and again were acceptable… the waitress came over once to ask if drinks were required (we’d already been to the bar ourselves)… having 2 children, a toddler and a baby with us the wait for the food was unacceptable… however what we did notice was suddenly the rush was on.. we were asked countless times if we were ready for desserts as the restaurant was supposed to shut at 5pm (this was now 5:15pm .. we fully appreciate working on Xmas day is hard however it was not our fault the children were still eating after the wait we had between meals. Dessert was the quickest course bought out… having been there for almost 3hrs we rushed our final course as staff were clearly wanting to go home. People were at the bar complaining as we left and Becca never bothered coming to see us. It’s a shame as last years Christmas meal was faultless from booking to dining which is why we returned this year… we will not be returning next year. I would like to add the Barman (again didn’t get his name is a credit to the pub and a really friendly member of staff)

Xmas Day…Terrible service, terrible staff, mediocre food. Harvester needs to sack all management absolutely disgusting. Shame as last year under previous management was superb. We will never visit this place again. Bar staff were polite but everyone else needs to find alternative employment, especially Becca, what a joke she is.

Visited The Harvester - Wych Way for lunch yesterday after an absence of a few years. (pre Pandemic) I swore never to return after a bad experience with a jacket potato that tasted a few days old and had a completely black skin. It had been replaced with one exactly the same and the manager had not been forthcoming with a refund and had a very bad attitude. Having spent over 20 years in hospitality I know how things should be and I have to say that my faith has now been restored after yesterdays experience. Our waitress was Fiona and she assured me that the jacket potatoes were up to scratch. She was so friendly and pleasant and my daughter and I had a lovely lunch. We both chose the 2 course deal and every item was hot and tasted fresh and as it should be. The service was quick but without us feeling rushed. I will definitely be returning again now. Thank you Fiona and the rest of the team for restoring my faith in my local Harvester. I will no longer have to travel further afield.

Went for a family breakfast as I had heard good things. Unfortunately, we must have just timed it badly. Both the bacon and the sausage were cooked beyond recognition and felt like they had been kept hot for a long time as the texture was off.
