Always great food at a great price.

Very popular, friendly staff, good food choices & a free salad bar all at reasonable prices, what's not to like? Free parking is available by entering your car registration once inside. The carpark could do with some extra lighting as it's quite dark!

Table booked for 12, we arrived 10ins early and ordered. The food didn't arrive till 12.30. Half hour wait is too long when there were not that many tables full initially. After lunch waited another 20mins for waitress to clear so we could order coffee. My chicken, from dirty bird burger, was boiled and horrid then the coating was burned. My guest had fish and chips and said it wasn't as good as Hungry Horse pubs which are half harvester price. Wasn't a good meal, wont be attending again near Xmas.

Went for Breakfast with Santa. Lovely food, great festive atmosphere and the kids really enjoyed seeing the Big Man 🎅🏻 himself.

Staff were all friendly but had to wait long time to have plates cleared and order sweets. Also food was tepid at best and had to complain about how cold the chips were and flat bread was cardboard. In addition my partner had to sit with her coat on and my coat over her legs.

Food was burnt, menu change is very disappointing, its massively reduced. Service was slow. The only good thing was the drinks are free refills and there's the salad bar to munch on whilst you wait. Although don't fill up cos you won't have room for your dinner

Brought my dad in his wheelchair, staff made sure we were seated somewhere he was comfortable and not in anyone's way so he wasn't getting knocked as people passed. Food was lovely and disnt take too long to come, the salad bar is a nice touch

Rang the store to ask about availability, the woman who answered said they were fully booked. Before I could ask until what time and if there was any chance there’d be any cancellations, she hung up. She was very rude and abrupt and while I understand that if they are fully booked they will be busy and stressed, there is no need to be rude to someone with a query.

It was ok food was hot service was good . Don't expect home cooked food, what we got was good for chain pub food

Called in for a meal... Table for 2 at lunchtime (1.15) To be told there was a minimum waiting time of 20 minutes..... Bloody ridiculous as there was at least 15 empty tables that we could see through the window... So we took our business elsewhere...

After my poor review last week I can say that this week the food improved 100% and everything was back to normal regarding the portion sizes. Kirsty was great as usual and very professional. Back again next week.

I found a chicken feather in my chicken which really put me off; I told a staff member about it just to be told its bound to happen and its nothing they can do about. Kept trying to give me dessert even when I said no as I was feeling nauseous from seeing a feather. The ketchup was a month out of date as well. They didn't give me a discount or say sorry.

Never again over priced rubbish

Delivery time kept changing and went to over 40mins past delivery time…. All together ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 mins for food. Then when it arrived it was cold. Normally when I’ve eaten in the restaurant there’s never been an issue but this was a very poor experience.

We had a problem with my meal but Heather our waitress sorted it out she was very professional.

Went here on Saturday night was told when we arrived that there was only one chicken dish left so we ordered scampi.when it arrived the peas were cold.i ordered ice cream for dessert was told they had run out..this is not the first time they have run out of stuff. At the end was presented with a bill for £95 and there was 4 of us..

Came for breakfast this morning,placed order no worries heard chef say to front of house cart do scrambled eggs 20 minutes later (restaurant empty there was only one other person in)front house came said they cart do scrambled egg but any other egg is fine so bluntly replied isn't scrambled made from eggs the reply i got it comes packaged come on that's basic kitchen skills atmosphere was great cause it was empty starting to understand why and if you like a luc warm cup of tea then this is the place for you kitchen shouts food sits there for 10 minutes while staff talk about last night's soaps

We like this place for family meals. Good choices and deals, free salad bar. Service is always pretty good, don't wait long for food either.

Very nice food , service , atmosphere, but sadly will not be returning soon as they have taken the lunch time special offers off.

Staff really rude. Walked in not to be greeted while staff was stood at bar on their phones. After a while of waiting to be sat down, whilst staff was talking to each other, got took to a table without a hello just pointed and walked away. We then went on to asking staff where we order? which she replied “give me a minute.” She then came over to table after 5/10 minutes very unhappy like she didn’t want to serve us took the order and walked away. Later brought the food dropped it on the table and walked away to talk to another staff member. The restaurant wasn't busy so no excuse for this service.

Dined in tonight using my blue light card and the food was superb. Our waitress was fantastic, tapping into our humour and making us laugh, thankyou so much. Definitely recommend 👌

Went for breakfast with friend which was lovely we wear served buy a very nice lady she was very helpful when we came to pay our bill I asked if it could be split as my friend had a full breakfast I had only had eggs and toast which she did for us I asked for the tip to be taken of our bill I do fined it a bit of a new sense it been put on the bill with out been informed I much prefer to give a tip to the person that as served me I do understand that it does not always go to the person that cooked the meal or to staff that keep the place running but I really don't like having to put a percentage of my bill in as I tip which I do not no where it goes and depending how much the bill is the tip could be a lot of money to me you should be able to choose if you tip or not it should not be put on your bill,we only found out this was happening as we had to go to the till with the lady so she could split our bill I will definitely say next time that we won't to pay separately and please don't put a tip on my bill I'm sorry I feel like this but into day economic situation I feel it should be my decision if I want to tip or not .

Only been for breakfast but its my favourite place in the area, good portions, quality ingredients and the staff are nice and are always lovely to my child.

Decided at the last minute to go for lunch out with friends. They recommended this place which I'd never been to before. Really nice place to go for a lovely meal out, a very clean and friendly atmosphere. The server was really professional and extremely attentive to every part, from seating to ordering and then to paying. Fantastic food, really well presented and served hot. Will definitely go here again, and hopefully, we'll get the same server. Can't remember her name but would instantly recognise her.

The friendliest ‘chain’ pub I’ve ever been to. the staff could not have been kinder or more efficient. Made our 3 big dogs so welcome too. Really good value food and fresh unlimited salad. Dirty fries were there only disappointment but everything else was better than expected

Don't go... Went for 2.5hours and received a £100 fine for it. Apparently it's a 2 hour car park. Wouldn't use this place ever again To reply to the manager yeah I did miss those "13 signs" and I didn't see the sign at the entrance either but I shouldn't need to really I shouldn't have to go out and worry about a parking ticket. Also your staff never mentioned it when getting moved to a table. Not surprised nobody goes to the establishment Got hung up 3 times when I tried to call and ask to speak to a manager. Maybe you can only write stuff online

Always nice food But disappointing about the ‘offer’ of kids eat for £1 as adults couldn’t order from the lunch 2/3 course option and it had to be from the main. Which in the end worked out more expensive and children miss out on a dessert. Instead it was cheaper to pay full for kids and adults to do the 2 course offer. I feel it isn’t fair for parents who are wanting to eat out on a budget.

We enjoyed a family lunch to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They even sang 'Happy Anniversary', to the tune of 'Happy Birthday to you...' as they brought the cake to our table. Along with the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere, Lisa's excellent service made it a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much to everyone concerned, especially Lisa.

Main course somewhat uninspiring had to send jacket potato back inedible BUT changed without an issue somewhat redeemed themselves with their enjoyable treacle sponge if a little lacking on the custard amount

I’m upset to be leaving this review as we are regular customers and have been several times for meals. However we popped the other evening and appreciate we hadn’t booked (2 of us) and we almost didn’t get through the door before this woman was repeatedly telling us we are fully booked .. we are fully booked . The restaurant was empty , there was no effort to see if we wanted to eat outside or at the bar or even have a drink . It was so unwelcoming . We went up the road and walked in and had a lovely meal at the Chocker. Such a shame that this person has now spoilt us going again

Very shocked and disappointed that at 2000 hrs on a Monday there was no chicken left, I asked for ½ a chicken combo, non available but said did have a ¼, accepted that, to then be told only chicken breast available. Accepted that only to be served a chicken fillet!!! And to top it all Blue Light discount wasn't available 😕 . Apparently it's turned on/off at random times 🤷, probably for the school holidays! I won't bother with Harvesters again. Staff tried their best to help and I wasn't charged for my meal. Which was a nice gesture 🙌, thank you

Really lovely atmosphere. Staff couldn't do more to help. Food was tasty, well presented and cooked and requested. Salad bar is a bonus and was kept topped up, clean and tidy. The drinks machine was fantastic for the kids.

Came of the off chance after the cinema, very surprised at the menu. The chickens were cooking in the rotisary and it smelt and looked lovely. I ordered a ribeye steak which was cooked and tasted perfect. Melt in the mouth. My partner ordered half a chicken and half a rack of ribs. Both melted and fell off the bone. The only down side was the chips :-( £1.50 extra for dirty fries when you can get the bacon bits free off the salad bar. Also both portions were as if they were stale or been re cooked. Service was spot on no faults at all. We will be back

I always enjoyed going to Harvester but after our last visit I will most certainly not be returning. The waiting staff were ok but that's about it. It wasn't busy, only a few tables with customers. It took over 45 mins from the time we ordered our food for it to arrive. The starter came out quickly but was disappointing. Garlic mushrooms were watery and the dip had no flavour. When the main courses eventually arrived, my gammon was just fat and gristle, half tomato shrivelled and dry, so were the peas. Pineapple was tiny and burnt and chips were cold and no taste to them. My other half had scampi, again tasteless and watery, chips just as bad as mine. The salad bar was the best thing about the meal, but at £6.99 you'd expect more choices. We will not be returning and I'd advise everyone thinking about going there to reconsider to avoid disappointment

Staffs are really friendly and constantly walking around looking for anyone that needs to order or anything else, food are delicious, but the steak looks like it became smaller than my last visit, but still, will definitely visit again.

Food was really nice and well presented. Only problem I had was a drink missing from my order however I have been immediately refunded after reporting it. Highly recommend the southern fried burger!

Look forward to meal came early. Started eating realised my half chicken was missing and pulled pork totally disappointed last meal I ordered from here was over cooked and couldn’t eat. Complained to Just eat received money back. Will not order from here again.

Excellent meal for 2 on a busy Saturday afternoon. Salad bar well stocked and regularly replenished. Our only disappointment was that the ice/water machine wasn’t working but both were easily available at the bar.

Waiting for food along while when arrived it wasn't very warm

We hadn't booked but we turned up just before 8.30 on Thursday wanting a table for two, after being stood a few minutes the waitress came to us and asked if we'd booked & I replied no but could we have a table for 2 please ( there were still numerous folk dining & the salad bar was being used ) The waitress informed that they intended closing at 8.45 & they'd had a busy day & we couldn't dine there ! When we got back to the car I decided to check their website & I was able to book a table online easily with no problems, so we went back in & tried again seeing as we'd gone thru their official booking system with no warnings or issues about their closing times, I showed them my online booking confirmation but they refused to acknowledge it ! What a complete misleading shambles from start to finish. They should either update their booking system or make it clear to potential customers that they will be turned away half an hour before their kitchen officially closes. We ended up having lovely meal in a pub nearby with no silly issues or booking complications.

Salad bar superb as always. Simply chicken I sent back to be cooked more as rubbery texture. Improved taste on top when returned but texture still not normal for chicken. My friend also struggled with hers. Other 2 loved their meals - scampi and burger

It was the first time that I've tried a Harvester pub. I wasn't disappointed at all. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and taken to our pre-booked table that had been reserved online. Extremely easy use. The menu is vast with lots of options. My husband and I are on a carbohydrate free diet & the food was perfect - portions were perfectly sized. Fresh and plentiful. Parking was easy. We will definitely return.

Went in with the wife first got told there was no chicken so we ordered 2 mixed grills a pepsi and a tea when the food arrived 15 minutes later only one mixed grill was served but the waitress then said she only took the order for one person and if I want my food I would have to wait a nutter 15 minutes I walked in the wife we both got drinks y in the hell would we only order one dinner the waitress then just kept smirking at us like we had done something wrong she's a complete idiot

Cold late food with salad missing, called restaurant to be met with a rude male who said tell just eat. I just wanted my salad and he refused to send it. over £20 for this horrible tiny portion. Never again there are plenty more restaurants to order from.. what on earth has happened to customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't beat this place everyone is so helpful. The staff are really friendly and the food is great 👍
