Very nice, would have the same again.

Apart from the 2 hour wait for food I would rate this good. Plenty of meat and good portion size. Salt and pepper chips were disappointing, normal chips with chilies on, not quite what we expected.

food arrived piping hot, chop suey was lovely but only one prawn in it, pancake roll was nice, special vermicelli was boring and very bland and had no prawns in, very disappointing for £10, otherwise the others were lovely 💐

The chips and samosas was horrible been warmed up was looking forward too

Overall everybody was happy with the food and good size portions as well.

Unfortunately this was the worst meal we’ve had in a long time. The chilli beef had no flavour and arrived in a tub full of what looked like water. The salt and pepper chips were bland and dry, the bbq ribs were extremely dry, to the point they were brittle. The only saving grace for me, was the salt and pepper special. It’s such a shame, as we’ve had many nice meals from here in the past.

Food was all lovely, can't fault it and it arrived early 😋

First time using as new to area — tried a few around n would say a bit ok — but - this Wakefield takeaway is are new go to —cannot fault in any way — please try you won’t. Be disappointed

Order from here regularly , always really nice and pleasant I ordered something different today instead of my usual but there so used to my original order they sent that one … I rung up to let them kno and they fixed the problem straight away sending out the correct food … very grateful for that thank you eat 88 xx

Really disappointed with the meal this evening. It’s been a while since we’ve ordered from here, and unfortunately it hasn’t sold itself well. Food arrived warm & within predicted time frame but the quality of the food was poor.

Usually much better from here so disappointed. Delivery was delayed and then late so food was stone cold. Noodles were also burnt 👎

Hot, tasty, early - what more could you ask for?

Ordered king prawn and got pork instead. The Apitisier starter box we ordered was cold and dried out and most of was unedible

all the food was cold the crispy beef had far too many onions in it and not alot of sauce noodles were dry and my colleague who had the chow main said it was salty don't think I'll be ordering again sorry

Felt that this evening good quality was poor compared to many many orders We have placed over the years from this establishment. Food lacked flavour and wasn’t much meat

we ordered a takeaway at 10pm, turns out after waiting for over an hour our order has not been delivered we tried to call the place but they did not answer it absolutely abysmal for them not to even call us back

Delicious, a little salty but still lovely

quality was rubbish to say it more expensive than some others. The won ton soup was horrible. The chow main lacked flavour and had black bits in it.

Way, way too much sail used in cooking the special chow mein. Couldn't eat it. Terrible.

The food is absolutely lovely from here and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone and have order from here a few times as well and delivery was on time and food was still warm when received

the food is usually spot on, but not this time. everything tasted like it had been cooked hours ago gone cold and then warmed up for our order.

Chips was hard, not cooked fully and the noodles was dry no flavour at all. I’ll not be ordering no more now.

The appetizer was good, but the main course, which was supposed to be beef, turned out to be just an unappetizing breading. I usually don't give low ratings, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat even half of it.

Consistently good Chinese food whether ordering a meal for one or for all the family. It’s probably the best Chinese take-out in Wakefield.

Every time o order from just eat I’m having microwave the food as it’s cold

75 minutes for a greasy and flavourless meal - not great!

Excellent as always, my only go to takeaway, I won't go any where else, quality and cleanliness is paramount to me, 5 star every time. And great delivery drivers as well

Got mixed starter for 2 was lovely then got rice chips and curry sauce first time order will be back

though I've given 5 stars for quality and delivery there was an issue with my part of the order. by the time I eventually got the corrected order my husband had finished his meal. despite me having to wait for my correct order arriving I still had to pay the extra and no compensation for inconvenience.

Most of this order was nice, but some of it was a bit strange. The beef in ok sauce was mainly vegetables and appeared to have cucumber in it. Will probably try again but order something different.

I've been using Eat88 for some time now. Very impressed with service, cost, flavour etc. only problem is the size of the portions ..... they are so big. I don't think they could get any more in the container if they tried. Highly recommended

The lemon chicken and 'sweet and sour pork' was delicious, as were the wontons if a little overcooked. The hot and sour soup however was borderline tasteless with the distinct texture of gelatine. Overall decent but avoid the soup.

Amazing food. Best Chinese and we have a really good local chinese which was closed but this was the very best. Totally blown away

Really lovely can’t fault it evening was boiling hot and fresh and delivered perfectly! - only thing is the price of the seaweed (fried cabbage) being £6 for the quite thin tub you get is a little much I think, maybe £4 but £6 just seems quite a lot for what you get

I thought I was eating a rubber boot, and please don't order the extras, absolute rip off. when I saw 4 spring rolls for over £5, I thought these would be good, absolutely not, shouldn't have been more than £1. Unfortunately eat 88 will never receive my £ again.

Food was horrendous defo warmed up in a microwave rice had big lumps of hard where not cooked properly curry was tasteless and the chicken wings were very rubbery won’t be using again !!!

Gorgeous food, only issue was they forgot to add a portion of chips we ordered but they’d closed by the time we realised so we couldn’t get in touch. Otherwise was a lovely meal.

An issue arose on just eat and my delivery address was sent through incomplete. After trying to reach me on an old number and emailing me, the restaurant still made the effort to get my food out to me when I finally got in touch with them and corrected the address issue. The food was hot and fresh, even after the long delay. Very much appreciated the customer service, patience and high food quality.

Chowmain greasy and no flavour, onion rings and again, fried rice no flavour and not cooked enough, came in a bag with the tub of gravy open so everything cover in gravy and was cold, salt and pepper chips soggy and bland,

I don’t often leave a review however I felt this had to be done.. Food was delayed which happens … Chips were well over cooked / chow mien with chicken which was like eating rubber… loads of bean sprouts hardly any noodles. Basically all went in the bin. Sorry Eat 88 but was not nice at all..

I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered Kung Po which should be a spicy tasty dish. It was blander than an Edd Sheeran song. I almost considered putting some BBQ sauce on it. The sweet and sour sauce was also thin and lacking flavour. The salt and pepper chips were overly dry with no chillis. Will avoid in future.

Rice overcooked, batter on balls was too thick, tracking not updated so driver had to call me wheb got to building. Got told off as no cars are allowed in the area he came to. Was hoing to meet at carpark if tracking was working. Wont order shain

lovely tasty food pre ordered at 10 to 5 for delivery at 7pm order confirmed at 5 as delivery for 7 but was 15 minutes late very disappointed, especially when ordering over 2hrs in advance!

best Chinese I've ever had. so good that this is the first feed back I've ever left, i felt like i had too it was that nice. maybe a one off, as I have only ordered from here once. from what I got tonight, it was unreal.

I ordered the chips, rice and curry in a box and I was highly dissatisfied. The chips tasted like they’d been warmed up. The rice to chip ratio was poor and the curry sauce tasted unfamiliar. I also ordered the appetiser for 2 and again, I was so disappointed. The prawn toast was stale, the chicken was dry, the ribs are meatless. I’m just overall appalled with how nasty the food was.

Excellent food, I will not go anywhere else, I did have my place to go Chinese takeaway but this has started to fail me. Decided to take the plunge and try Eat 88 after reading the reviews. 5☆☆☆☆☆ Beautiful and I'm very very Fussy about takeaways.

First time of using this place and impressed with the quality and quantity. Defo be back but not for the spare ribs. Bit too much fat for our liking. Everything else fine
