Best pizza and kebabs in Ponte by a clear distance. If you like proper stone baked pizza's this is the place to go. Tried kebabs here for the first time tonight and it was really good. Always delivered perfect, usually early unless it's super peak time but regardless it's always worth it

We ordered, food came without cheese on chips, told them, sent it straight round for us, then I rang to ask if I could have 2 cans of coke she said the person had already set off, then guy in background said its okay we send them too, absolutely amazing customer service tonight. It's been hit an miss for me in past, but since its got new workers it's a much better place! Thank you for going out your way to deliver exceptional customer service and making Our order right. Will deffo order a burger again to die for!

How can you get so much wrong with just a pizza order?! The toppings were not what was ordered, the pizza itself was undercooked significantly and tasted like someone spilt the whole salt shaker on it, and the cheese tasted off. Completely inedible, one of the worst pizzas I've ever tried in my entire life! Avoid this place at all costs!!

Ordered mix Kabab, food was lovely, Saturday tea time so was busy with drinkers, including my self, great atmosphere, and service provided.

Just had a very decent burger delivered tasty grill flavour lots salad recommend will return soon

Although food was decent , I found the service here absolutely outrageous. First of all it took 2 and a half hours for my pizza to be delivered which I find absolutely appalling (1 hour longer than expected!!).didn’t even fancy my food when it arrived. Second of all the delivery person was short on change. and last but not least I ordered a pizza with peppers and it came without. I will not be ordering again and do not advice others thinking about ordering from here to do so.

The Special Chicken is amazing, really different flavour, the rice was cooked to perfection - a real taste of Persia.

Wow the special chicken was amazing. Great depth of flavour, rice and roasted veg cooked to perfection. Garlic bread and pizza were great too . If you had any of this in a restaurant you’d be impressed, so from a takeaway, excellent. I would normally be put off by the leaflet and the name, but tried it based on a recommendation. I’ll be back often now I have found a decent takeaway in Pontefract 👍👍👍

Order online for delivery - waiting time unfortunately too long. 60 mins waiting and still haven’t even placed the order in the oven when called… appreciate it is a busy place, but bit of a joke…

Been coming here for years. Usually pizza’s are excellent but recently very greasy. The chilli con carne was so spiced that it went straight in the bin as it was too hot for anyone to eat. Very disappointing. Hope it reverts to excellent again.

I once told my sister in law it was best pizza she'd ever have. I will not be recommending ever again. This place has gone down hill. Just got a meat feast pizza and it is shocking. The chips are what I would call yesterday's left overs and the pizza is just grease. The crust is the only edible part of it

First time we have had a pizza from Plus One. Excellent. Base was fresh, thin, crispy and so tasty. Topping was also so tasty and just enough so as not to make the base soggy. Lovely and hot even though it was delivered to Darrington. Think its the best takeaway pizza we have ever had. Definitely will order again. Thankyou.

The delivery price has gone up from £2.50 to £4.20 , I was a regular customer and only live a mile away , I was told my postcode came under the same as wentbridge that is 2 to 3 miles further than where I live , so they have now lost me as a customer

Hands down the best pizza and kebab place!! Great value for money , great food and fabulous, friendly staff!! Always look after customers… if anything goes wrong or they are delayed (as demand and driver issues during lock down has been insane) they always try and resolve the matter. They take great care for their customer!! More flavour and toppings than your over priced branded pizza companies!! PLUS ONE SPECIAL KEBAB ABSSS HEAVEN!!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pizza! Using them for over 30 years. The ownership has changed hands several times and so I knew the first original owner and the latest owners who have been there for 6 plus years and have kept the standard and quality of food goin! Just moved to pontefract and I thought I would try plus one pizza,I'm afraid I was disappointed ordered a lamb kebab and it was not as tender as the ones I'm used too, really disappointing

I order here mainly for my kebabs mainly lamb kebab because its only place that uses proper fresh chunks of lamb its absolutely beautiful would recommend if you haven't tried this place Before best take away in Pontefract.

Best take out in Pontefract. Food is as fresh it can be for a take away. The pizzas are so so good, they are well balanced with dough and ingredients. You can tell the dough is home made by how fresh this is. The pizzas are stone baked so you don’t feel stodgy afterwards. Highly recommend

Pizzas are actually really good. Service is pretty bad. Estimated time that the food will be ready is never right when collecting, which means waiting in the store where everyone is without a mask (including lots of delivery drivers), when customers are wearing masks ... Seems a bit wrong. Expensive too.

I have to say we have never had a bad meal from this establishment. Whether a Just Eat, own app or pick up the service is brilliant. The staff are so very friendly though a little passionate at times having witnessed the lead giving staff hell for not giving perfection, needless to say it was perfect!. All orders have always been early when delivered. My son loves the 1/2 lb chicken burger the quality is brilliant and doesn't have cheese on it as standard which is brilliant for once. The pizzas have always been delicious and the Kebabs great. I recommend the chicken kebab in pitta. Lovely fillet chicken not cheep kebab cuts... keep up the brilliant work.

My husband has just had a pizza delivered. We've had to put it in the bin outside as it smells so bad. I feel sick from the one slice I've eaten.

Absolutely beautiful had a Tennessee glader burger, amazing presentation definitely worth the price will defo be ordering again.

So we are new to the area and we read the reviews of this take away and we were really excited to be ordering from here as it was all really positive but we paid £20 for 2 burgers and some onion rings that had less life then a graveyard. The onion rings seemed soggy and limp not crunchy as I would expect. I ordered the donner burger with garlic mayo and I think they must have run out of garlic mayo because they might as well not bothered rather then putting on the dire amount I received. My wife ordered the special spicy chicken burger (new) that came with no bacon or cheese. We complained on the phone and the guy seemed to be getting high rated with my wife and said it was really busy which I accept that but its also not my problem that food is getting rushed out. My order got rejected on just eat because I put a delivery time for 1900 when I ordered at around 1720 (checked call logs) and then when I ordered over the phone it came earlier then 1900 anyway. I even said I was in no rush for my food as I'm fully aware of the current situation and more people are ordering takeaways. So for an order that we weren't in a rush about came looking rather drab. I received a refund for my wife's order.

It was delivered in the time frame given, all red hot and I was so happy with the chips because they are usually soggy from take aways and they were lovely and crispy! Gorgeous food

Ordered a 14" meat feast for delivery. It was delivered on time, was piping hot, and tasted lovely. Delivery driver was pleasant and cheerful. Highly recommended

Really surprised at the positive reviews of this place after trying it yesterday. We had a meat feast pizza and a lamb kebab with chicken wings and chilli cheese bites. The pizza was of similar quality to a cheap oven pizza. It was edible but lacking in toppings and not the high quality stone baked pizza I was expecting. The kebab was a disaster. Lacking in meat and salad. The little meat that was there was dry and like leather! The wings were clearly just stuck in an oven and had some sauce poured on after. Nothings special. I have to say the chilli cheese bites were nice but 5 small pieces for £3+ is a bit of a farce. Food was delivered relatively quickly. Not much else positive to say. Would not visit again.

Pizza base tasted freshly made and it was nice and thin and actually cooked! So many takeaways serve raw dough. The sauce and toppings were tasty too and the chips were lovely and crispy. I would recommend to vegetarians.

I have not been for many years. Ordered delivery that was on time and a polite young man. The 4 cheese pizza was perfect and the mixed kebab meat just melted in your mouth. The chilly is the best around. Glad I tried you, keep up the good work.

What can I say, discussed and shocked. I expect incorrect orders to happen over the phone, it just happens, but when you stand there in person and order, wait, get home and it is still completely not what you ordered...well 1 star. Please note I was the only person in the shop waiting and the phone was not ringing off the hook. I will never be using this place again.

Well what can i say..... ordered a pizza and two chicken and donner mix kebabs. When putting order in made clear that we wanted salad and sauce seperate!!!! The girl repeated back to me what id ordered so not the girls fault .... the pizza was fine but the kebabs were two different sizes and was smothered in garlic and chili sauce all over it wich made it soggy and had salad soaked in the sauce aswell.....x after 45 mins of waiting was very p!ss'ed off. £21.00 for this not happy will not order from these again. Xxx when rang up to complain the answer was what can i do for you..... answer is get the bloody order right what the girl wrote down.

What a absolute mess all topping in one corner of box none on pizza base all running out of hole in the side cardboard box all gone soft where topping was had to scape all back on to pizza . Not impressed at all still cost 14 pounds

Under new management and you can tell. One if, if not the, best pizza in the area. Burgers good and garlic bread is amazing. Really wide variety on the menu. Order on the app for discount. Only reason not 5 stars is that they dont always read the notes when ordering online

Ordered an 11" meat feast. Didnt realise id ordered the vegetarian meat feast as the 'meat' n 'feast' aspect was lost in translation! Base was good but definitely wasnt worth the £6.30 I paid. Lets just say I wont be going here again in a hurry.

Was excellent with great prices, but it has been sold recently and the quality has dropped but the prices have nearly doubled. Shame, would go every Friday night after my son and daughters evening classes, even they have noticed the quality drop and don't want to go anymore.

We come here all the time Kebab is great and their pizzas are always really fresh tasting and thin and crispy. Garlic bread is excellent too.

Not what it used to be, lacking taste

I've been to pizza plus one a few times now, . Service was impeccable as always, the food is plentiful and always extremely tasty.

Terrible service not only did they get my first delivery order wrong I then had to wait an additional 40-50minutes to get a replacement order which when i receive was still wrong and didn't have the right toppings that were specified on the menu and was also cold.

Giving one stars is too kind Order was wrong and waiting 45 min over the delivery time for my order

staff very helpful food amazing

Chicken burger sent instead of a vegetarian burger, kebab is just filling dumped on a pizza base, food arrived half an hour after 'delivered by' time and the chips and the kebab fillings were all cold. Also the kebab was dripping with oil making it even more difficult to eat. Quite disappointed since the first time we ordered from this pizza shop we were quite pleased and left a positive review (on JustEat).
