Really good pizzas, hard to get hold of on the phones but expected when theyre so popular! Cheeay chips are a must!

I was lucky enough to win a recent Facebook competition. Pizzas, kebab and chips all the food was lovely and tasty thank you!

Staff are great and the food is even better.

Super fast delivery and still piping hot.

Have been a long standing customer since the night it opened in 1986 and while my pallet gets older,the food never disappoints.

I have been having your pizzas for as long as you were open, they were the best, even my mum enjoyed ham and pineapple in her 80s, I live 49 miles away now, People have lives you cannot be open until the lion shuts which is the pub next door, we all have to have balance in our lives and closing at 4am is not balance, no pizza shop would stay open for a number of reasons, safety being one of them,

Why would you have a pizza place that closes before the pub next door closes? Dumb. Typical Castleford.

Lovely staff, delicious food, fast service

Disorganised, prioritising dozens of deliveries over our collection. Even paying was painful trying to leave a tip was all over the place. After 20 minutes of waiting and everyone else coming and going I explained it was I had kids waiting at home for tea. They lied and told me my pizzas were in the oven. (I have eyes, they weren't). I have a lot of patience when kept aware of what is going on; I have zero patience for lying. I cannot abide liars. Integrity is important and to throw it away lying to a customer isn't how you maintain consumer confidence. Also told "oh you don't get the garlic bread with the meal deal". Didn't tell me that when I paid, despite it being on the receipt. Annoyingly, had she told me upon paying, I would have bought one! Just a flippant "sorry for the wait" after 40 minutes. Not a single care or thought given. We've been promoting these guys the community group we run as recommendations for new and existing buyers. We'll be finding somewhere else in the new year, this isn't a business we can put our names against.

Food is always amazing, never disappoints.

They were rented for an event at my work. they served my vegetarian son pizza with pepperoni in a box saying "vegetarian"!! when iI complained through my employer they denied and said I faked it!!! No even apologised. My son was very upset about eating meat unwillingly! disgusting practice Pizza Prima!! greedy and rude!

Tried the chicken gyros. Just tried one of your mixed kebabs and was beaut! You can tell it’s all high quality products and not just rushed into a bag, actual care had been taken in the presentation of the order. And plus side salad was great and separate.

Not a good takeaway at all. Chips wer warm up ones and the cheesy chips wer brown and hardly any cheese on. Rung up to complain and got told I could have a refund. Waited an hour then no refund so asked for manager and they put pizza chef on... didn't end up getting a refund but could of told me the truth instead of lying about it.. they wasn't really bothered at all even tho I sent pictures of the disgusting food. Wouldn't eat here again or recommend it to anyone

Disgusting food didn't even eat it wouldn't feed it to my dog. Said I could have a refund and they closed and fobbed me off. Pizza Prima ya food is shiteeeeeee and passing me onto a pizza chef dunt make no sense. Check out the pics below

Best pizza in cas, not sure about the hygiene... Lots of flies around when I went but very hot at the time. As of 15/06/23 this place has changed. The ingredients aren't fresh and the pizzas are salty abominations. For a very good pizza, go to Thrill of the Grill

Lovely as always but got a 14in pizza and it was like the size of an 11in pizza 🤷‍♂️

For a long time my wife has order a plain margarita as she doesn’t like garlic. Pizza came with garlic. I phoned up only to get a totally shi**y answer. So much for the customer is always right!!!!

Their pizzas are the best I've have had. Wished I had tried them years ago. They beat pizza hut and other places I have tried. Even next day cold they are still great.

Chicken supreme with mayo instead n it was all over mi hands n face but it was yum yum n they gave me napkins

We were sooo excited to try their pizza due to such a good reviews and our friend recommendation - unfortunately it was really disappointing.. pizza’s base was so soggy it was hard to hold it, I thought I’ll need to eat it with a fork and knife, it was also very very salty. Maybe we were just unlucky looking at the reviews… but won’t be eating again 😔

Best pizza in cas! Prima special is my favourite! Been going since I was a kid now my kid eats it too. The lasagna is really nice too! Burgers are gorgeous.

Great Pizzas, loved the Gyro's and the Parmo's too! Glad to see the Munchbox becoming a more regular edition! Delivery is always speedy and hot.

First time i've ordered from here and will be back. Good quality ingredients, really good portion sizes and a good menu. Stopped short of 5 stars as it's cash only which just seems a bit odd in this day and age.

Had three different pizzas, all tasted the same, one had pepperoni on but think it had been sliced with a Gillette razor it was that thin. Won't be using them again .

Had my first pizza prima after meaning to come for a long time. Certainly wasn't a let down. Order gyro burger and garlic bread. Gyro full of flavour, moist chicken and the sauces that came with it was packed with flavour. Burger very thick beef patties and tasty. Garlic bread...Over done for my liking In all , highly recommend

Absolutely inedible. Pizza and garlic bread were floury and not cooked properly. Cheesy chips, cheese hadn't seen heat. Pasta with meat balls was basically garlic and oil. All horrific and went in the bin. Will never order again

usually anything from pizza Prima is gorgeous but tonight night I ordered a Donna pizza deep Pan it was 20 minutes later than supposed to be so it was Stone Cold and had hardly any donner meat on it not the usual standard that they do I think I will stay away for a while

Tonight we thought we would try somewhere new to order from.... wish we hadn't now. Ordered 4 pizzas and have only eaten probably one between 4 of us. Sweetcorn brown mush, pizzas swimming in garlic butter, the margareta bland and as for the freebie garlic bread -- its been left untouched because we feel sick as dogs. Only positive is the staff attitude when complaining.

I won tonight for mother's day gift & it was delicious & warm on arrival and was a really good quality food the best I've had in Castleford . I will definitely be ordering from here from now thankyou lynn

I've seen so many good reviews about this place but the chicken and sweetcorn pizza that I bought from here last night was hands down the worst pizza I've ever had. It had an intense garlic taste, a stodgy base and a rubbery chicken topping. I didn't think you could make a bad pizza but this proved me wrong.

Last night I nipped down to Pizza Prima to put the order in for the office pizza and wine party we had planned for 5pm today once our normal business hours were done. I walked down from our place and everything was ready for us, no waiting. As always the food was great - perfectly done, tasty and great value. Even the timing was great despite the fact that they only open at 5pm. I'd expected to wait maybe 10 minutes but no, it was all ready for us. Anyhow the party was a great success, thanks once again to the folks here who've been serving me pizza for 30+ years now.

I'm not sure if there's new owners now but the service I got was terrible. I normally pick up from here but I asked for delivery on this occasion. It took an hour and a half to arrive and the young lad who delivered it didn't care. I mentioned it to him and he just starred at me, waiting for me to pay. I ordered a pepperoni pizza Andy what I got was a frisbie covered on grease and tons of salt. Normally I get nice, pizzas from here and would normally recommend over bugger brands but next time I will pay the difference and get service and a better pizza. Avoid

Couldnt even order a pizza as had no cash. Were accepting cash only. So went to the pub next door and had a pint

Used 4 times, had an issue with 2 of the orders. First issue, I was delivered a small pizza and wouldn't replace it with the large ordered. Didn't use them for 2-3 years. Gave them another chance. Second issue, I placed an order to be delivered between 18:15 and 18:30 for a family gathering, the pizzas were all delivered at 17:15, so cold pizzas for us all tonight 👍

Just ordered from here and majority has gone in the bin bases not cooked and so tasteless used to be really nice place bases way too thick. Won’t order again .

You’ll see from my previous reviews that this place is a regular choice for me. They have a great choice of food including burgers and pizza and this is usually fresh and tasty. However all of this is delivered with truly terrible service by rude staff. I think they’ve probably had my last order now as I’m sure there are equally nice places who actually appreciate customers? You’ve been warned!!

I don’t get takeaways much these days so wasn’t sure who to order from. I am very pleased to say the food was fantastic and happy to share my satisfaction and will definitely order from Pizza Prima again.

I’ve been buying food from this place for decades now and it’s usually beautiful. This time was no different but the delivery drivers (3) were all gathered in the shop effing and jeffing which is poor when you’re there with family. Ordered pizza and burgers and they were all delicious but you need to lose the swearing drivers otherwise customers will buy elsewhere.

The pizzas are lovely and always tasty. We love the rodeo pizza. Staff are always friendly. However the chips could be better

First visit here, and although the food is nice, it doesn’t really match other take away pizza places I have been to. Large selection, but I think for the price you pay you could get dominoes pizzas... which are far better.
