Last minute trip to the harvester and the whole family left happy. We were seated and served promptly by Georgia, who was friendly and attentive. My kids loved the build your own sundaes.

Last minute decision and glad we went. No problem getting a table even though we hadn't booked. Food was good and portions seemed larger than at the previous Harvester we visited. We were served by Emily P who was very efficient and friendly. Food was served quickly but still gave us enough time to enjoy the salad bar which was well stocked as we saw Emily do this before we ordered.

Poor customer service. Waited like forever to be seated. No one will approach you until there will be crowd of people waiting to be seated when it is not even busy and full. Have to wait for morethan an hour for the food to arrive. Food was just okay.

Very poor quality food. Supposed 7oz gammon steak ordered & served but neither the colour or texture of gammon. As they apparently don't serve or have on the menu any pork loin kind of worrying as to what it actually was. No egg as asked for and everything on the plate except the chips was tepid at best. Waste of money and therefore will not visit again or recommend.

Emily was a great waitress. Happy,helpful,friendly,chatty and professional. They seemed very short staffed but she stayed calm and in control. Nothing was too much trouble. For a girl of 17 very commendable.

Fabulous customer service, greeted with a warm and genuine smile upon arrival by the staff. Swiftly escorted to our designated table of choice with a minimum of fuss. Made to feel at home and with no obligation to rush making an order, Georgia was a credit to the restaurant and she made me feel welcome and relaxed during my entire experience.

Breakfast, used to be all u can eat now its a set breakfast which didnt like an item on the menu so politely asked for a mushroom instead of the bacon to be told no way, like would it of really hurt, its just not the same there anymore

I never really expect too much from a Harvester - you get what you pay for - but this one was a great meal, and good value. I had the Dirty Bird Burger and it was very filling and tasty. The salad bar was a bit basic, but it still managed to fill me up. I liked that the dinner came out hot and fresh. The restaurant looked clean and the staff were very friendly. Having been to a disappointing Beefeater recently, this really boosted my faith in these types of restaurants. I had the Rocky Horror Sundae, which was a good size with good ratios of all the bits and bobs. My husband had the Dirty Burger and said that his beef was tough, but the rest was good. He then had the Treacle Sponge and that was again a good-sized portion and was one of the better sponges that he had had. We were only in the area for the day. If we lived there, it would definitely be a regular for us.

This evening, we visited the restaurant and overall it was a good experience despite there being only half a salad bar. However, when requested the lovely girl called Emily PT got us some pasta that we wanted. She was very helpful and she has great banter. Her customer service is excellent and she is an asset to the business. Food was good and we will be returning.

Kirsten was brilliant. Excellent customer service by all standards. This is certainly a place to be. You can trust me to recommend to my friends and family.

Easy to park (free) on Riverside in Northampton just off the A45, a lovely place to eat, good value and we were looked after with personal service during our visit.

We had dinner at harvester on new years day. When we arrived it was explained that most of the menu was not available due to deliveries not coming (about 40% of the menu not available). We considered going elsewhere but didn't as it was raining heavily, but I wish we had. We ordered adult size burger &chips, fish&chips and children's chicken goujons. When the food came the portions were unacceptably underwhelming. The children's goujon and chips costing £7.59 and described as "for bigger appetites" consisted of 2x small chicken goujons, 12 small chips and a pot of peas. I think my definition of a 'bigger appetite' must differ to Harvester's. The burger was overdone and generally of poor quality. The fish and chips was described by my other half as "ok". We had 2 Pepsi's and a tap water for drinks. The whole bill came to £47.00 which was a rip off and I feel regretful for not raising an issue in the restaurant when I received it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as the whole experience and food was below standard and expensive. For the price we paid you can get so much better elsewhere
