Saturday morning breakfast. Sandy our waitress was excellent. The classic breakfasts were ok. Scrambled egg quality quite poor.

I had a great time with the group tonight. It was a friends birthday, we all dressed up in Halloween outfits! Jack was responsible for our table and did a superb job of looking after us!

I wish, wish, wish I could leave 5 stars however, they were a little 'short staffed' when I visited (although this how is how it seemed). For what you pay for, the food was absolutely excellent and the kids especially enjoyed theirs and it's good value for a kids menu too. My steak was perfectly cooked. Our table server was also fantastic, really friendly, engaged with my children and was super helpful. However, you could tell she was 'under the cosh' a bit. We were seated in a section with one large table of about ten guests and then four others, mostly families of 4 and a couple and I think that was a bit too much for just one person. Food arrived promptly etc but there was a bit of a wait between courses as she had to tend to other tables and also when we were finished we had to wait about 20 minutes to pay (which with two small children can become a bit of a nightmare), it's almost like they didn't want our money. This is my only complaint, everything else was spot on - perhaps some staff had called in sick, but otherwise, Harvester, employ more people!

This a really nice spot to visit, for food or just a drink. Comes into its own during the better weather as it has a huge outdoor area with bench seating, right in the centre of the park. The pub is situated at the top of a hill in Prospect Park and it is a bit of a trek getting there. The walk through the park is pleasant enough though. Pub is clean and well kept throughout, with a segregated dining area, though you can eat outside too. It's definitely more a food destination but don't be put off going there for drinks. It's pretty reasonably priced at the bar and the staff are friendly. Food is the usual Harvester menu offering, with some seasonal specials. Have had the Christmas menu a few times and it's always been good. Service is efficient and attentive.

The food was absolutely awful due to the chicken being undercooked and the service was just as bad. The waitress ignored the table at times, did not give us time to even open then menu, let alone choose what we would like to order and when we complained about the food, she argued with my mother in law and then removed the plate without even acknowledging us. Finally the waiter stood on my foot and did not apologise, subsequently breaking my toe. Possibly, the worst dining experience we have ever had.

We were a large group celebrating a special anniversary. The staff were very welcoming/friendly, supportive and accommodating. The meals were lovely and the atmosphere was great - we were free to enjoy the space in our own unique way. The only improvement would be for a little better organisation when serving the meals (getting right meal to right guest in orderly fashion). However, this did not spoil the experience in any way - the staff did brilliantly and deserve a massive thank you

Food was bit overcooked and for some reason was a piss smell,also run out chicken at 8.45 this was so not sure how long ago before that

I ordered the fish it was hard and chewy at the same time. The service was great but the food was disgusting . Not recommend

Only had tea and toast but service great and toast maybe too lightly toasted.

We were a group of 30 for a Sunday evening. Everyone enjoyed the food. Staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. I would recommend if the gusts in a big group would be able to pay 1st after they ordered their food. We were asked to pay before we leave. Anyway I would recommend this restaurant and we would come back again. Thank you

Brilliant service from Sandy, she was lovely and interacted with us, made sure everything was up to our standards and exactly as we wanted it. We were a group of 8, and she made sure every single one of us was looked after. Clean as always and a great atmosphere. 10/10 food and loved the new menu additions, and the recipe changes were brilliant (especially the vegan garlic bread). Couldn't recommend enough!!!

Visited today and was highly impressed. The food was superb, the service even better. Kathryn was fantastic, welcoming the moment we walked through the door and attentive through our with a genuine warm kindness. A real credit to your staff. We do visit now and then but will certainly make a habit to visit much more regularly

The food and value were both extremely good. The cuisine in the Mansion house left a bit to be desired. While the view from the place was excellent the internal decor could really do with a spruce up.

This is our go to "quick eat" and we love it Beautiful location, never had an issue with the food. Sometimes they seat you in a crowded area but km sure if we asked to move theyd be fine.

The service was not good. One child's meal was wrongly sent, and then had to wait a long time for it to come. Most of us had finished our mains. Took a long time to clear table and also to ask if desserts were wanted.

Had a lovely meal out with my family. Fantastic food, great atmoshpere and amazing service from Catherine. Nothing was too much trouble for her, despite being very busy. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Good food portion, service is friendly but quite slow. Great location with a big park at door step. The cleanness needs some improvement as the table is very sticky.

We were a big family group of 21 and our waitress, Kathryn, was very patient taking our order. We got all the right dinners. The only complaint was the fish and chips was more batter than fish. We had a great afternoon.

Sandy was our server, whom seemed to be the main or only one, she was professional, quick and very nice. The food was overall very good so good job chefs, but a massive well done to sandy for making our visit an e extremely pleasant one.

Food was lovely and didn't wait long

Food was good, staff not overly friendly but okay, the main issue was that we basically got chased off the table by one of the staff because it had been booked again for 7.30, we were a big party of 9 and 2.5 hours is hardly time to order and eat properly, and have quality family time which this was supposed to be, paying the bill at the end the staff member taking my payment leaned casually against the wall not even looking at me or speaking, not even a goodbye.

Lovely server called Sandy! Really welcoming and attentive to the baby and kept him amused and chatted with him. Lovely food and service. Thank you so much, especially to Sandy!

Took the grandchildren, good food selection for the kids, wide variety of stuff for adults but, although freshly cooked, 20 minute wait, it was pretty bland. Meal included s salad bowl, go and help yourself, plus soft drinks unlimited. For value excellent, quality good but not excellent. If you have registered on the app the discounts are quite generous. Good value, especially with kids.

Came here with my brother his family and my parents. 9 of us and the service from the start was lovely. It was quick and efficient. We was served by the lovely Kathryn. She as very sweet, especially when one of the meals didn’t arrive (there was 9 of us) she was very apologetic and you could tell she genuinely felt really bad. We was ok with it, someone who works in the same industry I fully understood and she made sure we were all happy. Which we was. It was a lovely meal out and you should be very proud of the wonderful service she gives to everyone. We come here often and she is always busy rushing about but always gives a wonderful service.

Came to Mansion House, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Johanna served me, brilliant waitress. We had the Mixed Grill, BBQ Chicken Stack and my boy had burger and chips! We couldnt have enjoyed ourselves more. Staff are amazing, couldn’t fault any of them. Will be coming back!! Thank you so much!

Food was quite nice but the service was pretty poor. Waited ages to even get a drink and the restaurant was pretty much empty. The menu really needs updating, it is just the same old thing every time

Great food, lovely place to go......like an old manor house back in the day hence the name I presume.

Breakfast was lush, poached eggs were perfect which is rare on a breakfast eating out. Sandy served us with just the right amount of attentiveness, humour and speed. Will definitely be back.
