A wonderful place to enjoy a lovely meal no mater what the occasion. Very friendly staff great food at a very reasonable price. Itnis one place we love to come to atleast once a month.

First time in this lovely place, the food was amazing and the staff very helpful. Once you order any main, you are in title to get a fresh and nice salad with many dressings to your choice. We turned up during a busy half term for a table of 6 but we couldn't sit in the restaurant, however we were accommodated in the bar area 2 adults and 4 kids, carnage but Daniel was great, he sorted out a dessert for the youngest who ordered a ice lollies, decided she did not like it and arranged a ice cream Sundae for her We were well looked after, so thanks Daniel 😊

It was busy, but despite this, Daniel was so kind and helpful. We had 4 kids with us, and he made them feel welcome.

Another great visit. As always family friendly. No pressure to rush. Our waitress Izzy was great and regularly checked in.

Came for my Aunties 70th birthday and she had an amazing time. Service was incredible by Hannah and just an overall lovely evening

Service was very slow, we were sat by the front door so we were cold. My daughter’s kids meal was bigger than my adult meal and i thought it was below average food. Asked someone for dessert menus but he never got them so had to ask someone else. I won’t be returning

The food is reasonable, and the service is prompt. It can get quite loud and, as such, isn't really suitable if your kids don't cope well with that. Double-check the bill, as kids' meals are on a deal that wasn't applied when the bill was presented. Everywhere was clean, and presentation doesn't suffer for being a popular spot.

Today I went to the Mansion house Harvester and was served by Jack, I just wanted to say how good his service was even though it was extremely busy. Jack was really polite and he is really good at his job along with being extremely calm and professional considering the amount of children playing around. He is a great asset to the harvester. I hope you can relay this message to him!

Had a lovely meal at the harvester today. Our server Sandy handed out a beautiful Rose to each table for valentines day. Extra special visit and service and the food was lovely.

We felt welcomed from the moment we entered the restaurant. The food was well presented and a pleasure to eat. The waitress was friendly and helpful. This was the second time we had visited this location and we were not disappointed. As always the food was hot, well presented and a pleasure to eat. During our time there, we were able to relax and enjoy our meal.

Remember this is just my opnion. Start with the positive. Staff very friendly and food good value for money (especially with the 25% Harvester discount. Ambience ok. OK, now the not so good. From the outside I think the place looks very tired and not particulary inviting. Inside I felt it seems a bit dusty and could possinly do with more detailed cleaning. When we first arrived for a coffee and a drink there were long waits as there weren't as many staff on duty although this got a lot better as we entered the main lunch window at 12. We were sat next to a very noisy table and whilst this wasn't the staff's fault we felt intimidated into asking the part (one man mainly) to quieten down. Food average but must stress staff friendly and attentive. Atmosphere rated 2 stars because of the noise.

A lovely setting, and looks quite impressive. We stopped here after visiting family, before a long drive home. Menu looked appealing, but I think we all chose the wrong dish. Greeting was friendly on arrival, and the free salad bar is always a bonus. We chose a harvester expecting to get a standard service. This wasn't to be the case. My partner's steak was rather chewy, and the battered halloumi I ordered, hadn't been done quite long enough for all the batter to crisp, leaving it very greasy, and sadly I can still taste it as has been repeating on me most of the three and a half hour drive home. I ended up leaving two of the pieces. I was somewhat surprised to be asked what I wanted to do with it, but as time was against me and my appetite spoiled, I couldn't order another dish. Service when the issues were raised was somewhat lacklustre, and not the usual experience I have come to expect from Harvester, not even an apology.

Had a nice afternoon at the mansion house. The food is so tasty plenty of it. We had the half chicken you can have different sauces .the service was really good didn't wait long. Been here a few times will definitely be going back.

A very nice restaurant at a great location. Harvester's classic free salad bowl is always a hit. Service was really nice, food was served hot. The steak and ribs were good but could have been better, no complaints on chicken dishes and they were all excellent. I would definitely come back here.

Went as part of a group, evidently they had a problem with the grill, seems daft to ask how you would like your steak cooked and then do the opposite, The only waiting staff worked hard.

Unlimited drink refills, unlimited salad, delicious food and nice staff. What can you ask for more :) location is great as well!

Staff seem very disinterested. Using their phones mostly, most of the things are out of stock which limits you from trying most of the items from the menu. A couple of staff smoking outside while people are still waiting for their food.

Plenty of parking but remember to enter you reg no. In the restaurant or you’ll get a hefty fine, nice location for this place on a hill with nice views overlooking the park. Large period building and nicely Christmas decorations up in the Restaurant. It took a while for front of house lady to appear and I didn’t appreciate her being rude to another member of staff. We were taken to our table through the spacious restaurant and I noticed how some tables have a nice view of the park. Our table was a little dirty at the far end so we ignored that. A lovely waitress took out order quite quickly and handed us some salad bowls, mine was a little dirty on the outside. Salad was OK reasonably fresh a good choice. The bread rolls were very slightly underbaked and fairly tasteless but OK. When my wife’s meal arrived the portion of chicken was hidden by the ribs for good reason that portion of chicken was tiny and was mainly all bone. Credit due to the server who quickly returned with another portion of chicken when I complained.. Over all a good experience on impacted by cleanliness and rude front of house.

Have never had a bad experience at the mansion house especially on Christmas Eve, large family booking but looked after by the staff very well, lovely clean restaurant and we love the atmosphere at Christmas…been going to Harvester for 29 years now on Christmas Eve and next year we are already looking forward to making it 30 years….thank you so much for a lovely evening

The table was all set ready for my Festive Menu party booking with salad bowls set ready for everyone. It took a while for our starters to be served but had to wait a very long time for our main course. Our booking was at 1pm and our main courses weren't served until 2.15pm after we had asked where they were. Desserts also took quite a while after that too. So we weren't able to leave until about 4pm. Disappointed there were no xmas crackers.

Sandy was amazing. She made sure we were looked after and that everything was perfect. Thank you 10/10.

Great place. Food was amazing and very cozy. However at the end of the evening the staff inc the manager was unable to break down the bill for us so families could pay separately (something many other restaurants have done). If it wasn't fir that it would of been 5 stars across the board

Had a really lovely family catch up! Used to come here as a kid so was very nostalgic. Food was great, and our server Hannah was very accommodating. My mum is a big yapper and Hannah had all the answers straight off the bat around food etc. really lovely lunch!
