Very pleasent place to meet for a meal with friends we had great service from Kathy our waitress

Callum was our Server, what a lovely young man. He was very sweet and attentive. We loved him. Love from the four chicken skewer ladies ❤️

I was looking forward to the reopening after their refurbishment, and wasn't disappointed, It's looking very smart, fresh and clean. The food as always was tasty, my compliments to the chef. Our server today was Jules, who was very lovely, polite and friendly. Came away a happy and satisfied customer.

Our lovely waitress Jules is always so welcoming and so friendly and helpful, it's always such a pleasure to spend time at the Harvester.

Newly renovated, place is looking good and hasn’t lost its cosiness, food was the usual standard and good for the price. Emily c tended to our needs and was bright , bubby and attentive when needed.

Emily was very attentive and ensured our every needs were met particularly as one of our party has an allergy. Food was hot and tasty, the salad bar was well stocked and we all enjoyed it.

Our server Kathy was lovely. Really welcoming and friendly. Not many vegan options but they took the dairy allergy very seriously, as they should and made sure my friend felt comfortable with what she was getting. They have a programme that makes the menu only things you can have with the allergy which was nice. Big portion sizes.

Kathy was our server and she was brilliant, very attentive and efficient also very friendly and we observed her checking with all her guests if they had the harvester app so they didn’t miss out on offers

Breakfast was very good as usual, service is always fantastic. Frequently go and any issues the staff are more than happy to help.

Jules our Server was knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with and very helpful with my wife's food allergy.

Can't fault Emily C for her attentiveness friendliness and help. Our food was ordered, unfortunately our chicken arrived and was cold and undercooked, our waitress was very apologetic and we were given a fresh meal without hesitation. The salad was good and so was our main meal, eventually. I think the Staunton arms is due for refurbishment fairly soon which is long over due. Hopefully the lighting and toilet facilities will improve too. Fair play to Emily who was run ragged looking after so many tables, always happy to help.

The server was lovely and really helpful! The food was lovely also, only thing I would say is the rotisserie chicken didn’t have any skin on it and was quite small but the flavour was really nice and the service was good

Had a great breakfast this morning at a great value price. My waitress Kathy was excellent polite, friendly and very professional. She should get a bonus 😊

Decent food is a bit messy, but that's alright. The staff member who served us (Emily) was very enthusiastic, and she was everything you'd want in a server. Atmosphere wasn't anything special but it wasn't distracting.

Christmas Dinner , had a fab afternoon great service lovely food would defo go again 10 out of 10 😃

We came here on Christmas Eve, with high hopes, harvester chains can be hit or miss, this one i am afraid was a miss! Me and my girlfriend had the bbq chicken stack and that has massively gone down hill the chicken strips are way way way way way to thin no meat at all, the chicken breast was rubbery, the chips were nasty and chewy, the pizza for our boy was not only cheap and nasty but it didn’t look appealing one bit! It’s a shame as we saved up money for a family 4 which is hard around this time of year and travelled a fair distance to only feel really let down. We did like the potato salad on a plus note.

Food not so good. Steak very tough cannot eat it. Atmosphere is ok, service good. But the food is not good value for money, cheap ingredients cheap steak, absolutely tough. I will not advice to use this, unless you have a wolf teeth that can chew a steak for a good half hour in your mouth. Is a no no.

Kathy was amazing ! She was very kind and made the experience so much better than I thought it would be ! Always served with a smile on her face and made me feel so welcome. Harvester are lucky to have such a lovely woman, i will definitely be returning and it's all cause of the fantastic service she gave today. It's very rare around this time of year you get such extraordinary service and made me feel like there is still lovely people who always give there 100% to their customers I couldn't of had a nicer time in the harvester and Kathy I wish you the merriest of Christmas' and a lovely new year (harvester you really do have a gem on your hands)

Came for are Christmas meal on Sunday 15 th December would not book again service terrible took so long for food to arrive, no cutlery on the tables had to hunt for are own salad bar not stocked up, really not enough staff to serve you,have to say the young chap was good and cheerful, but stressed.All in all a terrible meal.

Great meal.....they have a good selection at competitive prices. The salad bar is brill!

Terrible. Booked a table for 7:30, turned up 5mins early, despite requesting a table in the restaurant they tried to seat us in the bar where they were having a disco. When I asked for the table I'd booked they said they didn't have any. We went elsewhere.

Have just enjoyed the festive menu 2024. We both had the turkey dinner and it was very tasty.

Staff were welcoming and polite, especially our waitress, Emily, who was on hand whenever we needed anything, but never imposing. Food was excellent quality and tasty. The atmosphere was warming and pleasant. Highly recommended!!

Our server Emily C is a credit to your Rowlands castle harvester restaurant! We were a table of 14 and Emily was friendly, approachable and overall a lovely lady ☺️

Can't go wrong with Harvester. Always there and serving and food portions of food! Happy to pack up in a takeaway away box. Christmas Pudding from the festive menu was overdone, chewy and a bit burnt.

Substandard lazy food. Garlic bread was just a flat bread. No Garlic. Garlic bread with cheese had no garlic and a cheese slice microwaved on a flatbread. Burgers dry and overcooked. However the kids xmas meal was excellent, service was a bit slow but acceptable. Overall doubt we would go back

We were served by Callum who was very professional and friendly, helping us with our requests. The food also came out quickly and was very tasty with a good portion size! All in all a good afternoon meal experience :)

Disappointed all round we normally love the harvester Rowlands Castle Hampshire . Food was really Disappointing since when did you serve frozen roast potatoes with the Christmas meal? Hubby orderd a large meal and ended up eating when we got home, my simply chicken had no broccoli on the plate as they ran out but only offered an alternative when I mentioned it. Our friends meals were not overly hot and mix up with puddings.seemed totally disorganised £150 later and hugely disappointed Girl who served us was very sweet we just left as didn't feel it was worth complaining didn't see anyone working there over 25 years old Been to you for years totally put off ;(

All good, but vacuuming the restaurant while we were still eating was unacceptable. And this wasn't to clear up a spill, it was their end of day clear up. Not good

Been here often as usually enjoy it but bit disappointing this time. Staff tried to seat 7 of us at a table with 5 chairs until I complained, and yet I had pre booked a week ago. Took us 20 minutes to get any menus, there wasn't enough cutlery so we had to find our own and the salad bar needed restocking as lots of empty spaces. The rotisserie chicken was really good, would recommend it, though same cannot be said for the apple pie

I came here with my family, a party of 9, and our server Emily C was absolutely lovely, helping us with everything, joking with us and making us feel welcome in the restaurant. food was absolutely brilliant and came out so fast despite it being busy. Emily C was so hard working and made the experience even better, definitely recommend:))

Kathy was a great host for my whole family on a Sunday breakfast, quick with the drinks and had all the information for the menu! Came for my daughter’s birthday and she even sorted the cake and candles… 10/10!

I love the food here, the meals are good quality and my kids love the salad bowl, it makes it a lot easier to eat out with kids! I was disappointed with the £1 offer, it's not what you think it is. Having a £5.99 menu for kids (not being able to get just a main) I assumed it was this that was £1. But I was informed by the lady on arrival that it didn't include the pudding, and that we'd pay £2 for that. So basically you only save £2.99. I am on a budget and never eat out but went due to this deal. Luckily I managed to persuade my daughter to not have a pudding. I just think it's misleading
