Callum was polite, efficient and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. 5* service

Vegan food shouldn't have less ingredients, just vegan ones. Vegan nachos same price was crisps, Guacamole and salsa....I had to ask for the ranch and jalapeños. Vegan cheese isn't had to find. Same price....less ingredients

I am a regular at this Harvester meet friends for breakfast and lunches Jules is our usual server she knows exactly what we want always pleasant food always great.

Was a great dinner, while catching up with friends, had a great server called Lucy. Would come back again. Really enjoyed the night

Staunton Arms has just had a refurbishment, so this was the first time of visiting since the refurb. Refurbishment is good and I loved the colour scheme. It was my husband’s birthday today, so we went there to celebrate it. My husband ordered sirloin steak, which he enjoyed; I ordered the barbecue chicken stack, which I have every single time I go to a Harvester, but there was something very strange about the chicken and it wasn’t cutting as it usually does, but was stringy and weird looking throughout; it reminded me of stringy cheese with a bit of elasticity, with the slimy consistency of octopus and looked more like reformed meat, than a piece of chicken breast. I mentioned it to pur waitress Emily C and she too agreed that it was strange, so took a piece of it to the chef, who asked what it actually was; he told the waitress that The Harvester had changed their chicken supplier when they changed the menu, which makes sense with why I noticed the difference. I’m a tad concerned that the supplier they’ve now gone with, are not supplying as good a grade of chicken as their predecessors and it’s left me thinking that I don’t want to eat this meal again because of it. It was bad enough that the chicken in breadcrumbs that came with the chicken stack were swapped out for silly little pieces of chicken that have more breadcrumbs in ratio to actual chicken, so it’s a shame that you’ve actually changed a dish that was popular as it was and ruined it. Emily was very helpful and happy. Last but not least.. they had no pepper and when I asked a different waitress for some, she told me that they’ve been waiting for a delivery; for someone who enjoys pepper on my food, I found this rather disappointing and also wondered how an established restaurant can be so lapse in their stock control.

Callum was super helpful and welcoming, once we were sat his service was amazing, checking if we wanted any drinks throughout our meal and checking for any allergies. He was very smiley ☺️

We was served by Callum who was very attentive. Great customer service. Drinks arrived very quickly. Callum brought the salad bowls over and the food also arrived within good time. Great experience. Although they no longer serve corn on the cob this was replaced with corn bread which was very tasty.

Nice food (I had gammon) lots of options. Food came out hot. Salad bar was good except no plates for rolls anymore. Emily C was our very lovely waitress 😁

Good food, would score a 5 but it took quite a while for the main meal to arrive, although cannot fault the staff, it was very busy. Our server was Emily.C who worked hard

Me and my partner had an amazing meal with the help of callum we loved our food and was left to dine in peace without interruption.

Recent visit on a busy evening so seated in bar area which subsequently got crammed with people. Service ok considering how busy staff were.Food okay.Shame however about the constant whining/barking of dog belonging to a family that selfishly disregarded everyone around them who were trying to enjoy their meal and evening which spoilt it.

Great effort made by all staff service was a bit slow but the restaurant was very busy

First visit to this harvester our waitress was Kathy she was very polite and gave a prompt service ensuring we had understood the parking system and entered our registration she was very busy but made us feel very relaxed as she raced around ! The food was delicious and plenty of it all arrived hot and presented well Definitely will not be our only visit here

Always great at this particular harvester, we’ve been to them all in the local area, port Solent wasn’t great and came to this one ever since. And we are always happy when Kathy serves us as we know our food will be correct, gives the best service and very friendly to our kids, always reminds us of the deals and vouchers available too. 👌👌👌

My dining experience at rowlands castle was truly exceptional. From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Especially Lucy, she was truly amazing and had a lot of time for her customers. She was really helpful with us and always had a smile on her face. She definitely deserves the credit for making that place shine. I can't wait to come back if she is going to serve us again. Employee of the month ❤️❤️

Visited today for lunch with my brother, neice and my toddler we were very impressed by the service given by Kathy, it can be very stressful eating out with a toddler and she went above and beyond to make our experience very pleasant. Furthermore, the food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Shame we are not from the area otherwise we would make this a regular :)

Salad cart was fresh, the drinks were fizzy and the food was very warm and tasty. Kathy was very friendly and quick to attend to our table when needed. We visited with a toddler and kathy was also great with her :)

We came a few months ago and had a horrible meal so was a bit wary. However! Tonight we had a lovely meal the food was well cooked and fresh. Our server Kathy was lovely and professional too!

We love going here for breakfast. Our server, Jules, is brilliant. So friendly and always smiling. Service is quick and the food is delicious. We always like it when Jules is working, she's so welcoming. The renovation has really freshened the place up too. Highly recommend it.

Often have breakfast when staying at the Travelodge next door and the staff are always very nice. Today Kathy was great very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast as well 😊

I ordered the ultimate breakfast today via uber eats. What i recieved was shocking. 2 sausages, bacon and hashbrowns not the 3 advertised. 1 poached egg and tomato not 2 and missing black pudding. Basically half the breakfast was missing and all was stone cold. Very very bad. One very disappointed customer

Table services was good however took over an hour and 20 minutes for food to be ready. Salad bar was mostly empty during this time. Tables and floor had food waste on them and was very loud in there, not a relaxing meal at all!

Food very good ,we had to wait a long time for main meal as they were very busy ,the staff very friendly especially Kathy who served us ,would recommend but best to book .

We met up with family to celebrate our grandsons birthday. Our waitress Lucy was very attentive, they even sang happy birthday. Thanks everyone

Classic harvester with a fresh look. Newly refurbished and looking good. Lovely service by Kathy and generally all staff we crossed were really nice.

Was looking forward to the reopening, so came for an early dinner with my mum and little boy and was not disappointed! The food was delicious and our waitress Emily C was amazing, so friendly and even gave excellent recommendations for pudding! Looking forward to popping back again soon!
