Lucy our server was fab. So lovely couldn't have done any more for us. Was busy when arrived but a table quickly cleared and we were seated, food was good and as expected. Would come again

Food was delicious, we had Callum serve us and he was fantastic. The back door was causing a draft, which is why I rate atmosphere as a 3. This door should be on an auto close to keep outside and inside customers happy. Callum closed it for us which was nice of him.

Service by Callum was excellent. Our weird order of pudding first was no problem. The food was nicely prepared and presented, although the bacon could have been crispier. The newly renovated restaurant was fresh and inviting but we were seated next to a party of small children so it was a little noisy. There were other quieter tables available. I’m sure we will return for more of the yummy chicken waffles and giant profiteroles again.

Food was very average. Took a long time to arrive. Our server Jen was lovely.

Choose to come here as me and my partner had a voucher. We were served tonight by Sasha lovely experience and very kind waitress. Easy and efficient. Best experience at a harvester to date. Will happily return in future 😊

Jules always looks after us amazingly when we come in. Because of her smile, service and friendly approach we like to bring the family back regularly. Food really nice, recommend the chicken burgers. Salad cart well stocked and a really good rewards scheme.

Lucy was couldn’t have done more to help us. Sadly our order was taken my Tomas who got it all wrong! Wrong chips, wrong or missing sauces. Also 2 out of 3 chickens came out uncooked. Lucy was very attentive & did all she could to rectify the situation. Lucy was more than capable of managing without Tomas causing confusion

Stayed overnight in the Travel Lodge at Rowland’s Castle and for the 2nd time in as many weeks opted for a brilliant Harvester breakie under the wrongly considered 1st breakie being a lucky brilliant breakfast. Simply, the ultimate Breakfast was an excellent meal, well priced and a good filler for the days events beit travelling. Not a lucky breakfast just a brilliant breakie and thank you Jules, who was a consummate professional, letting us in early by a few minutes, attentive to the right degree with a happy smilie demeanour Do a Harvester - v v good

One of the worst restaurants we've ever been to. As a local to Staunton Arms we've been 10s of times over the last few years. As the new refurbishments just went in we thought, as a family of 6, we'd go again as we've always like it in the past. Well, this couldn't now be any further from the truth. We waited over 1hr 30mins for our food, waitress disappeared, to feed my baby son we were only allowed to warm his food in a jug standing at the bar for 30 minutes before he could eat, the next customers for our table were brought over and had to be shuffled away because we hadn't even eaten yet and then the manager under her breathed mentioned we were in the way. Horrendous food, horrendous services, this has certainly written off what was once a great restaurant

We went to the harvester last week for a reunion as the venue seemed to be large enough. The food was very disappointing ! Half a rack of ribs from the ultimate grill is actually just 3 ribs with gristle. Wouldn't recommend A rack of ribs consists of 12-13 baby back ribs.... Clearly they are just cutting back on the food that you receive. The steak ranged from medium rare to medium despite asking for a specific type. The majority of our steaks I would describe as chewing on a old boot

Came here the first night, great service friendly staff. Emily M, friendly and very quick to serve always checking up on us and making sure we had what we needed. Came here the second evening and the manager Ben had decided to close up the bar 50mins early even though the premises stated open until 11, very disappointed in the service.

I was staying in the Travelodge next door and used this Harvester for my evening meal. As a lone diner, I was warmly welcomed by pleasant staff and served by the lovely Lucy who was very helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend this eatery. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and friendly with lots of families present. First class experience.

Some food was cold when it arrived and waiting excessive time for food to come. Took over 2 hours just to have 1 meal. Would never go back there and the restaurant has gone downhill over the past year.

Loved our visit. Our server, Archie, was first class. It was noisy at times but bearable. We would definitely go back ASAP. Thank you for a nice evening out.

We had a lovely meal with friends last night. We were served by Callum who went above and beyond to offer brilliant service and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really nice, much improved since the refurbishment.

Vegan food shouldn't have less ingredients, just vegan ones. Vegan nachos same price was crisps, Guacamole and salsa....I had to ask for the ranch and jalapeños. Vegan cheese isn't had to find. Same price....less ingredients

Staunton Arms has just had a refurbishment, so this was the first time of visiting since the refurb. Refurbishment is good and I loved the colour scheme. It was my husband’s birthday today, so we went there to celebrate it. My husband ordered sirloin steak, which he enjoyed; I ordered the barbecue chicken stack, which I have every single time I go to a Harvester, but there was something very strange about the chicken and it wasn’t cutting as it usually does, but was stringy and weird looking throughout; it reminded me of stringy cheese with a bit of elasticity, with the slimy consistency of octopus and looked more like reformed meat, than a piece of chicken breast. I mentioned it to pur waitress Emily C and she too agreed that it was strange, so took a piece of it to the chef, who asked what it actually was; he told the waitress that The Harvester had changed their chicken supplier when they changed the menu, which makes sense with why I noticed the difference. I’m a tad concerned that the supplier they’ve now gone with, are not supplying as good a grade of chicken as their predecessors and it’s left me thinking that I don’t want to eat this meal again because of it. It was bad enough that the chicken in breadcrumbs that came with the chicken stack were swapped out for silly little pieces of chicken that have more breadcrumbs in ratio to actual chicken, so it’s a shame that you’ve actually changed a dish that was popular as it was and ruined it. Emily was very helpful and happy. Last but not least.. they had no pepper and when I asked a different waitress for some, she told me that they’ve been waiting for a delivery; for someone who enjoys pepper on my food, I found this rather disappointing and also wondered how an established restaurant can be so lapse in their stock control.

We were served by Callum today and he was an absolute star... knowledgable with the new menu, fast, efficient but with a lovely kind personality. Food was great, service fast. Thank you

Callum was super helpful and welcoming, once we were sat his service was amazing, checking if we wanted any drinks throughout our meal and checking for any allergies. He was very smiley ☺️

We was served by Callum who was very attentive. Great customer service. Drinks arrived very quickly. Callum brought the salad bowls over and the food also arrived within good time. Great experience. Although they no longer serve corn on the cob this was replaced with corn bread which was very tasty.

Recent visit on a busy evening so seated in bar area which subsequently got crammed with people. Service ok considering how busy staff were.Food okay.Shame however about the constant whining/barking of dog belonging to a family that selfishly disregarded everyone around them who were trying to enjoy their meal and evening which spoilt it.

Me and my partner had an amazing meal with the help of callum we loved our food and was left to dine in peace without interruption.

First visit to this harvester our waitress was Kathy she was very polite and gave a prompt service ensuring we had understood the parking system and entered our registration she was very busy but made us feel very relaxed as she raced around ! The food was delicious and plenty of it all arrived hot and presented well Definitely will not be our only visit here

Always great at this particular harvester, we’ve been to them all in the local area, port Solent wasn’t great and came to this one ever since. And we are always happy when Kathy serves us as we know our food will be correct, gives the best service and very friendly to our kids, always reminds us of the deals and vouchers available too. 👌👌👌

Visited today for lunch with my brother, neice and my toddler we were very impressed by the service given by Kathy, it can be very stressful eating out with a toddler and she went above and beyond to make our experience very pleasant. Furthermore, the food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Shame we are not from the area otherwise we would make this a regular :)

My dining experience at rowlands castle was truly exceptional. From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Especially Lucy, she was truly amazing and had a lot of time for her customers. She was really helpful with us and always had a smile on her face. She definitely deserves the credit for making that place shine. I can't wait to come back if she is going to serve us again. Employee of the month ❤️❤️
