Great location with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nicely decorated clean venue. The food was perfect in both taste and quantity. Table service provided by Karla was perfect with a good knowledge of the menu and additional advice on the salad bar was well received! The discount received from the App voucher was an additional bonus!

We enjoyed our lunch at Harvester. It was fairly quiet when we arrived but it filled up over the course of our meal. Karla, our server, was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful, going above and beyond so that we got what we wanted from the menu and were able to get a special offer too. The food was decent but it was Karla's service that elevated the experience to the full five stars.

Came in for lunch on 11th November and was greeted by Joseph who was very charming and made us feel like we had just bumped in to a friend we hadn’t seen for years! The food was delightful and great value for money with the lunch time deal & we will most certainly be back again! Abby was also a delight who was working her little socks off for everyone around

A friendly welcome from Karla was the beginning of our Harvester experience. The menu choices were vast but with a little help and advice we made our decisions! Prompt service meant we were soon tucking in to a delicious salad and avidly awaiting our mains. Karla's suggestions proved to be spot on and lunch was everything we expected, tasty and fulfilling! Karla definitely brightened a dull weather day with her smiles and enthusiasm :)

The food was lovely, service was quick and Charlotte our server was fab, she’s a lovely, funny young lady who made our visit a great experience!

Oh Dear!!! What on earth is going on? We stopped going to the Shorehouse, before there refurbishment, due to the appalling food and bad management. When we heard that it has been refubished, we decided to give it another try. What a great experience. The food was good, and hot, the management were great and the waitresses superb (especially Abby). BUT what on earth had gone wrong. We went on the August Bank Holiday, all three of our meals were appalling. We left it a couple of weeks, and thought we would try again, which we did yesterday. My husbands meal was O.K. my daughters was fine, but my simply chicken, was uneatable. The chicken was too tough to even cut, and it was only just luke warm. (The same as the Bank Holiday experience). I told our waitress Tiana, who said she would tell the kitchen, don't know if she did or not, but we certainly did not get any feed back. Are they reverting back to the appalling food, before the refurbishment? Oh! I do hope not......

I have gone there before fir breakfast. It was excellent. Yesterday very poor welcome at the front. Asked me to go to a table next to the bar. Didn't tell me how to order the food. I spent 15 minutes and finally went to the bar to order the food. IQ Code didn't work. Salmon vet pretty average. Poor presentation. Bar person was helpful and apologetic.

we wanted to try the harvester shorehouse in shoeburyness since it had recently gone through a refit, we were not disappointed the new decor is really bright and modern and the food was enjoyed by all four of us, we were looked after by a lovely waitress called carla and she helped make our visit a five star meal, she is a credit to the harvester, thank you carla.

My friend and I regularly go here for a girls evening out. The food was really nice with the added bonus of a 40% off the mains voucher. Our waiter, Charlie was really good, attentive without being overbearing, a really lovely young man and a credit to your company. Looking forward to our next visit.

Popped in for a quick breakfast. Served by the lovely Karla who was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, served quickly and hot.

Had a great lunch time meal, it was very busy so our food did take longer than we had hoped for. Drinks are a little over priced too. The new look was very well needed and looks brilliant. Well done to James and Sophie for making this place good again. Just what this place needed. Will look forward to returning again!

Was disappointed. Afer the refurb, thought great. Let's give it another shot. Wish I had not bothered. Place was half empty. I now know why. Ordered food. Starters good but cant get cheesy garlic bread wrong! Mains, well we ordered the chicken skewers. The "peppers" on these were unrecognisable. A complete mush on the skewer. Did not eat. The chicken was ok. Nothing outstanding. The wrap bread with it was hard and crusty on the edges. Not edible. Ordered a mix grill and asked for steak medium rare. It was medium! In total the bill came £103 for food and drinks (3 starters/4 mains/4 drinks). Really not worth it for the food that was served. Will not be going back. Unless this place ups it game in relation to food, it is going to be in the same state as previously and get the same bad rep.

Had high hopes since the refurbishment - very busy - food was very poor - sent my inedible jacket potato back and it was replaced with a almost identical inedible one - rolls on salad bar still partially frozen and friends chicken stack - chicken overcooked and tough - chips looked like frozen and not an appetising colour - waitress apologised and did offer manager but was disappointed by then and just wanted to leave - would definitely not return .

We booked for very large group (30+) we were served quickly by Charlie and Charlotte and they were friendly and efficient thought out, would definitely recommend

Nice venue but that's where it ended....worst meal we've had for a long time. Menu said "freshly battered haddock". For the price they charge we expected "fresh fish"..not frozen cheap rubbish. We've eaten better fish from budget supermarkets. The chips were dry oven junk, cold and inedible. Complained and was offered a free dessert...that's not what we wanted or paid for. If we'd wanted a dessert we would have gladly paid for it. Expected better and won't visit Harvester chain again. Very disappointed.

Restaurant has just reopened following renovation. Looks great inside now. Had a lovely time here with family. All staff were friendly especially our waitress Charlotte. She was really helpful with suggestions and made us have a great experience. Salad was fresh and well topped up, food (and plates) were hot. Food tasty. Good time had by all!! :)

Visited on Sunday, staff were very tense. It was very busy and the service was very slow. Not very happy with visit and food took ages to come out - and wasn’t even nice!! Won’t be returning soon.

Love the refurbishments it really needed updating. Along with that, Charlotte served myself and my daughter and was really helpful and friendly. Great service which I find is hard to find nowadays in harvesters. She is a credit to the shorehouse and should use her people skills and her professionalism to train others to her hight standereds. place looks amazing, we got greeted by a lady with blonde hair, her name was jane we found out, she was brilliant really polite and helpful full. the young lady that served us was called Kinga she was lovely and really good star in the making. definitely will return
