New menu is appalling. Put off and won't return until the food is improved. Old menu was great... Change has lost my custom. Respect to the staff but food was bland, tasteless and I would be doing a disservice to not mention. Not to mention the apparent price left me feeling rear ended by a snow plow...

Lovely big and warm pub, perfect for families and young children. Service was quick and the food was nice

I normally highly rate harvester but we came here for the breakfast. Unfortunately didn’t realise they don’t do the make your own. The breakfast you can’t swap the veg for much else so the worth of the breakfast hugely decreased. Losing 6 items for 1hash brown. Definitely worth going Toby carvery Instead

Very impressed . I worked as Head Chef here about 35 years ago so lots of memories as visiting for first time since then Lots of changes of course, and for the better . Food is amazing, and what a friendly team Many thanks for a lovely visit

First time booking for Christmas Day and it didn’t disappoint!! The price was reasonable compared to others locally. The food was lovely, the service was fantastic, everyone was working so hard and a really good vibe. Will definitely book again for next Christmas! Thanks for making our Christmas just perfect.

Food quality is poor definitely gone down hill since I was last there. Best part was the salad and cob rolls. Even on a 50% of mains I expect good quality food. Won't be back till you sort it.

Had a lovely lunch here today with my wife and son. Ribs were tasty, pulled barbacoa burger was good and my son loved his fish fingers and chips... And halloumi fries as well. Kim was a great server, food came quickly and salad bar was well stocked.

Lovely food, Patsy was our waitress, great customer service and I love that they fill up your first soft drink for you. Would reccomend a visit.

Food was tasteless seems like it’s cheap ingredients staff was very pleasant unfortunately the manager was walking around with his jeans halfway down his arse how the teenagers wear them not what you would expect from a manger

The food quality has gone down massively and portion sizes are much smaller as well. A lot of our personal favourite meals have had drastic changes and just don't seem appetising anymore. All the staff seemed rushed off there feet and not very happy and felt like they were rushing some tables to finish. The most disappointing is every time I order a rocky horror the cake is never warm anymore which makes the dessert taste worst without it being heated up.

I had a fantastic meal at Harvester Plough recently! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the salad by Magda – it was so fresh and flavorful. For dessert, I tried Nikki's creation, and it was simply divine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual and enjoyable dining experience."

Returned for a nostalgic meal after quite a few years and Dee who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was just how I remembered tasty and great value!

Food was okay, but not great. Service was odd, and felt a bit rushed. We'd booked a table 2 hours before closing time, yet they were literally hoovering up around us. *Other vacuum cleaner brands are available.

If you have allergies, do not visit this restaurant they can't follow a simple food order and cross contaminate

Our server was Joely who helped us out with all of our requests. We asked for adaptations to the food and festive menu and she kindly obliged. We were a large table and quite chaotic at times, we didn't feel that we were an imposition and we were all happy with our food and service. Many thanks to Sam the chef for accepting the changes we wanted to our order. We were all stuffed afterwards. Huge thanks to the team.

We popped here for lunch before soft play. We had a LOVELY server named Joely who made our visit so relaxed and very special as it was our daughter’s birthday. She looked after us so well, was kind and considerate and really helped us celebrate. A huge thank you! 🤩

Food was nice. Waitress/assistant manager was really lovely. Bad points: We had our booking at 6.30 and we didn't sit down until 6.45 and because of the delay we were contemplating eating somewhere else. Car parking doesn't really handle the capacity for the restaurant. Where the bar is situated was quite small, as there was tables right there, more people were coming in and they had to stand around people eating.

Very poor service from Kim the food was really poor from the starter to the main and we did complain,on the other hand the restaurant was clean and the parking was okay but I will definitely not be returning.

Popped in during the week for some early dinner with my mum. Kelly who served us was so polite, friendly and lovely. The food came so quickly and was delicious so credit to the chef also. Great value for money too!

Was amazing birthday meal came for my 21st and patsy (aka Whitney Houston) served us she was so lovely and pretty and helpful and attentive x she brought lots of hot honey which made my 21st unreal and also brought a little bit of ice cream and a candle which made me feel so happy 😁😁😁 will definitely be back for more yummy!!!

We came here and sat here with 3 dogs in the garden had some really lovely food and they was great at responding with questions about allergies. The dogs also enjoyed their food that they had too.

More variety on the salad cart would be good but what was there was fresh and the main meals were good. Service was excellent.

It was busy when we got there and was disappointed to dowcovwr that you couldn’t mix and match on the skewers anymore (used to be able to add a different one ie chicken and hallomi together) but that’s just little preference. Our server Aymon (sorry if spelt wrong) spent the time to ensure our experience felt personal and special as three out the five of us were celebrating our birthdays (1 days between them all!) and took the time to make sure my 9 year old felt special as he filled up her new birthday present (Stanley cup) with water for her so she could have it during her meal (alongside her bottle of purchased coke of course!) Small talk about football and our birthdays made us feel special. I personally have worked in hospitality and I saw how he spoke to other members of staff and diners and felt it important to take the time to ensure he was recognised. The only reason I haven’t mentioned anyone else is because we didn’t need to speak to anyone else as our table was served attentively. Thank you.

Met a friend here for breakfast, I had the vegetarian sausage bap with hash browns & a cappuccino. No mocha option on the menu so that was disappointing! Food was very nice & it was busy in there .

I had the 1983 combo, (no idea what the relevance of the 1983 is). It cost £19.99 and it was awful, stupid little pot of fries which was half empty, 4 ribs with hardly any meat on, what little flavour they had wasn't like any ribs I've ever tasted before and NOT in a good way. The piece of chicken was bland at best and quite what the other little square items on my plate were, I have no idea, sweet and tasteless. I haven't been to a Harvester in a very long time and I doubt I'll ever go back to one. A thoroughly disappointing meal, save your money and get a takeaway from anywhere !

I ordered the single chicken burger and I couldn’t bite into it without the skin from the chicken breast coming along with it, really chewy and not nice to bite into! I thought it was the bacon fat that was stringy but it was the chicken skin. The chicken itself tasted cheap and was not enjoyable at all. However, my sister had the chicken skewers and said it was really good. The chips weren’t the best either. But our waitress was really lovely and couldn’t fault her. Shame about the food tho!

Joely, our waitress was excellent, very friendly, efficient, understanding of my daughter's needs (autism and anxiety) and was not phased by her undecisivise at all.

This is a large and welcoming restaurant, which was spotlessly clean and came with notably friendly, chatty service. It’s just a shame that the food, in this case 2 of the main course vegetarian dishes, was pretty poor. The pasta shells and what was supposed to be a tart but resembled more of a floppy, greasy pizza were pretty much indistinguishable and not in a good way. We enjoyed the salad bar (but suggest you steer well clear of the small dry rolls). If the food was as good as the building and the staff it would merit a much higher score.

Haven't been here in ages! Gotta get that salad! £7 for a bottomless salad. 😀

Faye looked after us brilliantly - great service and good advice. Parking appeared to be a bit tight, but that's only because the restaurant is so popular, and with good reason! Good portions, cooked as requested. Complimentary salads and sauces, including my favourite - a hot Naga Chilli. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this Harvester. Would definitely return on our next visit to the UK.

My wife and I stopped off for an English breakfast, it was excellent. The food was cooked really nice. The waitress (Chris) was very pleasant, attentive and efficient. Good value for money. We'll definitely be visiting again.

We went for a family meal for 14 people which included 5 children. We had Andy as our server and he was ace with my boy who has autism, and very good with all the children throughout the evening. He allowed them time to think and had patience for them to order their own food. In addition, he looked after all the adult members, ensuring all food was correct and drinks were kept topped up. Thank you for a lovely evening of carnage with our lot 😀

Had a really nice family breakfast with Kim greeting us at the door and Chris our server. Made sure we had everything we needed and allowed us to order a couple bits off the menu. Bob and Sam did a great job in the kitchen. All round great experience.

We have been to this harvester on a few occasions. Andy has been our server everytime. Andy was very polite and was interested in our day and spoke to the children about their football interest which I thought was nice. The food has been very good and there's always been a great selection at the salad bar. We travel from Romford to go to this harvester

Nice, nice lunch very enjoyable

We had to wait a fair while for our food to arrive. I don't think we are the impatient type but we did ask how much longer it may be. I had a mixed grill. All of it was good except for my steak portion of the mixed grill, it was very small, all fat and gristle.. Even the steak knife didn't cut it. As I said, everything else was fine and the woman serving us was very good.

Came in this evening, girl on the front till said sorry fully booked. Then went outside about 15 empty tables. Comeback to query it she was now saying the kitchen is under so much pressure it's an hour wait for food ... don't like being lied to.

Service from Kelly was very good and food cooked by Sam was great. This Harvester is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion
