Haru sushi and Ramen house in Ealing

The ordering and delivery side of this were absolutely fine, but the quality of the sushi was bad... and given the name of the place has the word "sushi" in it, you might have a reasonable expectation that the sushi should be good, as well as the ramen. From my experience, the grains of rice were pretty much indistinguishable from each other, becoming pretty much a homogenous mush, and the seaweed was chewy. The size of the portions of fish seemed normal. Size-wise, the nigiri rice beds (whatever they're called) seemed too small.

Tiny sushi dish was £14. Was barely a starter size. Vegetarian ramen was full of fish eggs? Disgusting

I ordered from their website what was a fairly expensive meal for two (nearly 50 pound), which had an estimated delivery of 45 mins. I received an email saying that the delivery would take 10 mins longer, which I thought was reasonable, as I was given notice. After one hour, I called to enquire about my order they said that the order had left the kitchen 5 mins before my call. The restaurant is a very short walk to mine (5 mins) so I was very surprised that 30 mins later my order still did not arrive. I called again, and after they asked me again about the postcode (not my name or order number), they said that it had left the kitchen 10 mins ago (which didn’t make sense) or that maybe the driver was delivering many orders at the same time but when I mentioned I lived very close they said that probably my order had been misplaced and that they would call me back. TWO hours after I placed the order they call me to say that the delivery man apparently came to my house and I refused the order. The address I entered was correct and it was clearly a mistake by the driver (though I am not sure the person on the phone believed me!!). My husband had to eventually go to the restaurant and pick up the order, the food had gone completely cold, and there was no offer of compensation or even to reheat the food... I used to like this place and even if the food is a bit pricy (when fresh/warm), it is nice, but the service this time was so poor that I don’t think I will be ordering again.

I recently ordered from here and cannot wait to order again soon! The only thing I wouldn't order again was the fried tofu as it was a little oily. But the noodles and sushi were delicious! Would recommend.

Mi humilde consejo es que evites a estos tipos a TODAS los costos y si realmente quieres un poco de buena comida japonesa, ¡ve al Hare & Tortoise cercano! ¡Sorprendentemente malo y caro!

Hiddem gem. Unpretentious. If you want amazing sushi and the rest head here. Everywhere else in London does not compare.

We ordered via Uber Eats as a gamble, and were very pleasantly surprised. The main courses (chicken teriyaki and chicken pad thai) were excellent and good sized portions. £5.10 for a single, slightly limp hirata bun, however was disappointing, and the miso soup was tiny. Tasty, but a little pricey for the meager side dishes.

Best sushi I've ever had!!!! Definitely a new twist to sushi by frying it, the taste is just phenomenal. Even after eating countless ramen throughout the day, I had to have a taste from Haru sushi and it was just perfect. Get your sushi from here, worth the MONEY! I honestly could eat it 24/7, no kidding.

The sushi was absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering food to take away, but restaurant looks small and cosy. Was not too keen on the hot food, it was average- we go a katsu, seafood ramen and pad thai. Would highly recommend for the sushi and will be returning in the near future!

First of all. I recommand this restaurant is small and cozy. Staff are really friendly and polite. The food is amaizing Been here 5 times and every time i ordered something different to try their menu, and i can say everytime the food was great and fresh. I always ask for spicy food and they cook it as i want. Perfect touch. Give it a try you will like it.
