Itsu in Ealing

I was today at the store and had some sushi towards the end of the day but while eating it it tasted very stale , wouldn’t suggest going at this location, I usually have never had other problems at another one I go to but here the raw salmon was very stale and had to spit it out

For those who like to eat Asian, considering that it is a chain with affordable prices, the food is good and fresh.

Very unfriendly staff. I am very disappointed with this service. Never again I am not getting any food from them.

Very good food overall and fresh always. However I want to leave the feedback for the friendly staff in Ealing Broadway store. I visited the store on 14th Feb 2024 around 6pm and had some issues with my order but got a friendly female staff member who jumped to help me. As a result I got a free cup of Miso soup and I cannot be more than grateful. Her support was much appreciated.

Ordered Chicken noodles. Almost cold. Very disappointed.

I like eating at Itsu but I absolutely dislike the ordering system. Soooooo cold and impersonal and you don't see what you buy. A picture is not the same. Bring back the interaction with the customers!!!

Interesting place I don't often sot in a Japanese resteraunt, I had Udon noodles with sauce Affordable at £5? And nice! Easy to digest.Very clean and with brevity inside.

We popped in for lunch, the staff are polite and kept it very clean. The food was, as always, fresh and delicious.

It's slightly different from other itsu's that we have been to over the years as their display unit is behind the counter so you cannot pick anything up to take to the counter but have to order everything from the machine. Everything else is standard and good. Ps both my wife and myself didn't like the taste of the vegan meatballs that we chose as an extra on the spicy Korean noodles.

Larissa, the manager, went out of her way to ensure we were happy when we had a slight issue with a previous order. All of the staff at this branch are great to be honest. I definitely recommend the Ealing Itsu.

I ordered via takeaway some chicken and spring onion gyzou - dumplings and the tereiaki chicken rice bowl. The food was lovely. It came on time. Very good service

The food is good, but the experience we had today with the manager, definitely never going back. Ordering machine was not working and the manager was very unhelpful, very rude matter of fact, we left without completion of the order worth £85.

I just wish that we had better cutlery... Eat in with wooden forks and spoons is a task

Meat gyroza was great but the sushi I ordered wasn't that tasty. Love the different sauces they provide for free. Service was extremely quick and friendly in the evening.

My Go to place for quick japanise food. A little more costly than other fast food options. But it's healthier and tasty

It’s not McDonald’s - sushi you pick with your eyes and the screens are detrimental. Whatever management decided to switch should be fired. Now I’ll only buy one thing I know as I can’t browse. Stupid move. Sushi is based on what you see - I’ll go wasabi around the corner. Slow clap for that move.

I have said my farewell to Itsu. I have returned after a long period and I saw that the fridges have been replaced by screens, the rations have been reduced and the prices have increased. It's really strange to see this empty space and these screens to order. Little by little the machines are taking over from the people, there is no more communication, no more humanity. It's not a place I like anymore, so long Itsu!!

way to expensive and does not accept cash.the rice is dry but the place has a lot of free sauces and sesame seeds so its klm. wassabi is a 2 min walk away and is 100% better

Food was ok, but cant say the same about staff. We went there eat at 6pm (open to 9:30pm) and took smaller table in the back, cuz the others were taken. Then we heard comments and faces from female worker, who was so unhappy that they will have to clean this area again for closing. 3,5h before closing. I guess we should eat on standing position or leave to not make her do her job...

It’s quite busy tonight but that’s always a good sign. The service was fast and the food absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this branch for sure .

SOLO DUE PIATTI ADATTI AI CELIACI il che mi pare poco in un ristorante giapponese: riso thai con pollo e minestra di miso. A dire il vero, il riso era buonissimo, se riuscite a mangiare il cibo piccante. Il personale è gentile ma alla richiesta di cosa avessero che potevo mangiare mi hanno schiaffato in mano una specie di tavola periodica degli allergeni e mi sono dovuta arrangiare.

Nice sushi for a fast food sushi place. And of course if you go 30 mins before closing time, everything is 50% off. (That’s 9 pm on Monday - Saturday and 8:30 pm on Sunday)

Taste awful compare to before lockdown in and during lockdown when it was open only for take away. The taste have changed the drastically. Itsu was better than their competitor, Wasabi. Also staff don’t seem to be happy here. The girl from Africa rudely stock up shelves with Baojis (Buns) I ordered Korean BBQ chicken rice bowl, it only had 3 pieces of chicken, the entire rice was full of Edamame. So awful customer service and ridiculous policy. They can’t serve alcohol with dessert. Reply to the Owner’s Comment: I have already given you feedback on this online review. Itsu is one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. With very good vegetarian/vegan options. The food is served hot. Service is quick. I tried the chicken and onion gyoza and it tasted delicious. It was steaming hot when received. Combine it with siracha sauce and the taste gets even better. Quantity is good as well. 8 pieces Also tried the veggie meatless meatballs rice bowl. The veggie meatballs were undercooked and tasted stale. There were peas, soybean, Spring onions, coriander, tomato amongst the vegetables. Brown rice and teriyaki sauce. The soya bean were raw and a little too crunchy which spoiled the taste actually. Peas were soft though. Not that gr8.

I am a regular Itsu customer. I often buy sushi here. It is good and the price competitive. I buy full price or with the 50% discount, depends by the time that I go there. In these years when I am close to the discout time, I go to itsu 10-15 minutes before, and I take the boxes and wait for the discout time. It is common practice and it makes sense: if you are close to the discount time, it doesn't make sense to pay full price. Usually when I go, I find tens of boxes, but this time only 5. I was already sad for this. I love sushi and usually I buy 5 boxes only for me, and I was with my wife. Yesterday, for the first time in this shop, one of the employee (maybe the manager) forced me to put back the food into the fridge, or to pay straightaway. His reason and words was that if the food is out of the fridge for more than 5 minutes, he could not garantee me the quality, and conseguently it is not allowed to sell me the sushi. In that moment, I left the food back into the fridge. After they collected some boxes for an order (maybe online), even if the same employee told me that they were still preparing some sushi in the kitchen for online orders. In that moment I decided to leave. My questions are: if the food is significally damaged after 5 minutes, why there is not a label that explain this? When there is a long queue and I wait for more than 5 minutes, why there is not an employee that check the quality before selling me the sushi. And, considering I consume the food at home, for all these years I have eaten sushi damaged, and like a company you didn't tell me this? 1 star is for the rudeness of the employee and the lack of information (if there is this information somewhere, please show me and I will say sorry for this. But I didn't see a label in the shop). For the food I could give 5 stars. The quality and price are good.

Just went there to buy the sushi and use the 50% discount they offer 30 minutes before closure. I selected some items left and as we were still missing 10 minutes from the 30 minutes deadline for the discount I decided to wait before going to pay as i have always done and see everyone doing at itsu. The manager came over and said to me I had to leave the food in the fridge if I didn't want to buy full price. Quite shocked I put the stuff back. Another couple entered and received the same treatment. They as well put the stuff back and decided to leave. A few minutes later one of the sales assistants came over and took one of the dish we wanted to buy - I suppose for a delivery. He did that although his manager told us 10 second before they had more on the back but for some misterous reason they couldn't put it upfront for the customers. We decided to leave as well and go buy our dinner at Wasabi. If you want to do a promotion do it. If you don't, don't do It. But treating you customers in such a rude way just because they want to use the promotion you put in place is ridiculous and unacceptable.

The salmon sushi was pretty good but the tuna sushi lacked flavour.

if I could give it a 0 I would. how can they serve food without no flavour? Doesn't even taste like Japanese food or Korean food, not good

Super friendly team, great fresh selections and of coarse fermented beverages and miso soups. It's a favourite with the younger ones so really family friendly.

It's very bad taste and expensive for nothing I bought today chicken teriyaki it's half a bowl I paid £7.99 still hungry I don't recommend itsu for everyone.

If you love sushi 🍣 then you must pay a visit, unfortunately there isn't any choice of hot sushi, however, the soups are delicious, specially the vegan option.

Visited ITSU in Ealing after shopping. Had a lovely pot of hot chicken noodle soup. Was absolutely delicious and just loved the coconut flavour and hint of ginger. Thanks ITSU. 👏👏😊😁

Good quality produce, albeit a little pricey.

The fridge sushi wasn't the best quality. Tasted stale. Tables weren't being constantly cleaned after every customer.

Nice food and good quality, however the size of the restaurant is not that big. Definitley worth going though as the choice is great in itsu.

Ok sushi but the seating is not very comfortable. Not very kids friendly.
