I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Woodstock Pub in Didsbury! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. First and foremost, I must commend the outstanding service provided by Kamila and Sam. They were not only attentive and accommodating but also went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was exceptional. Their knowledge of the menu, recommendations, and friendly demeanor truly added to our enjoyment. Now, let's talk about the food! The dishes at The Woodstock Pub are nothing short of delicious. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and it's clear that the kitchen takes pride in their craft. From appetizers to dessert, every course was a delightful surprise. The quality and presentation of the food were outstanding, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes. Lastly, a special shoutout to the boss, Jimmy. A new addition to the Oxford street scene. A lovely simple pub with a ground floor galley style bar, compact but functional. An extra seating area downstairs, ideal for meetings, groups etc. Small but we'll considered choice of kegs. No cask ales just yet, maybe if demand is there-the pumps are in place! A fine establishment with a nod to Sir Winston and Bladon. Also two great photo/maps of the local river. A most fine place.

Very bad service, 6 minutes to closing time and the lady working there still didnt let me buy something and use the toilet. Dont recommedn this service to amyone..

A pleasant PUB with helpful and pleasant staffs. Great drinks served at the right temperature a d good ambience especially at the outdoor seatings in one evening in August. The only drawback - they’d run out of decaf coffee but served good decaf tea!

Yo revisited este pub de nuevo recientemente, habiendo sido un ordinario cuando vivimos cerca de South Molton Street. Todavía es un agradable pub con servicio personal muy amigable y servicial. Aunque no comimos en mi reciente visita, recuerdo la comida como bueno. Al menos es de mayores días y no nuevo y recién inaugurado, ya que la mayoría de Oxford Street ahora parece ser.

Cómo muchos restaurantes en el centro de Londres hay? Encontramos esta pequeña joya en Woodstock. . . La ventana emergente restaurante llamado "Neo" se encuentra en la taberna de Woodstock. Fuimos los primeros en y el gerente/propietario era muy agradable y nos aconsejó sobre las comidas. . Comenzamos con su "cerdo scratchings" y mi amigo tenía un gran abrazo Ipa blanco que dijo que era preciosa. Para el plato principal que tenía un plato de panceta de cerdo con zanahorias chantenay y orden lateral de patatas fritas triple preparada y judías verdes y mi amigo un trozo muy grande de pollo con patatas fritas y lechuga lateral. Decidimos tomar un postre y tuve mi favorito helado con caramelo salado, pero mi amigo tenía un taludes tarta de limón y dijo que era uno de los mejores que he probado. . . Con café en la parte superior de la comida llegó a 70 libras que para un restaurante de Londres es simplemente increíble. No dudaría en recomendar a otros y si estás cada calle en Woodstock no pasa. . . . Muchas gracias. . Volveremos

Good, but not worth the price. The place is enjoyable, the staff is kind, plates are good but the quantity of food is not adequate to the price. There are better places nearby.

Went for lunch while shopping, lovely drink and sandwich, service a bit patchy

Encontramos aquí por casualidad con mis amigos, tomamos unas copas y decidimos quedarnos a cenar. Comida deliciosa y a un magnífico lugar para comer

Mi novio y yo fuimos para un almuerzo rápido ayer mientras compras. Sólo había una pareja en la taberna cuando llegamos allí. Mientras yo no me puedo quejar de la comida, sólo pedimos un plato de aguacate y huevo escalfado, y mi novio pidió la tarta del día pero relativamente simple orden tardó casi una hora en llegar a nuestra mesa. Disculpas por el retraso era mínimo, aunque estábamos a punto de salir! El servicio también era 12. 5% aunque estábamos prácticamente ignorado todo el tiempo. La mesa de al lado tenía mucho peor, ya que ni siquiera consigue una de sus comidas que ordenados y luego tuvimos que compartir un plato de sopa entre dos personas! Sinceramente no recomiendo según mi experiencia allí.

We had fabulous meal at The Woodstock Tavern last night. Amazing food and fantastic service from Geno and Katie whose smiles and attention gave the place a lovely atmosphere, despite being a quite quiet Tuesday evening. Great value too. Will definitely go back.

Visited the place few times now, food never disappointed.Menu is interesting and innovative, everything taste delicious. The service on the other hand was terrible lately.There was nobody to take us to the table,or say if it's any tables awailble.After few minutes of waiting by the door manager arrived and without any welcome or smile pointed the table.Me and my friends was sitting almost 15 minutes before someone asked for drinks,every time when we wanted to order more drinks it was impossible to get any service.I guess the don't care about how much people spend.The manager was standing behind the bar staring in to the space, no eye contact possible. Nobody was taking empty glasses and when it came to the bill after waiting for like 10 min we had to go and ask someone to take a payment. It was almost their closing time so the manager only got interested in us when we were about to leave so he can clean after us and close. Bad management.It was a nice touch when chef came out and asked how we are enjoying the food. I will only be back there for the food, but this was the last time I pay service charge as service is none existing.

Il cibo è sfizioso e particolarissimo, ho amato particolarmente il polpo accompagnato dalle pesche, esotico e buonissimo. Inoltre, il locale dispone di una sala privata al piano di sotto, che si può prenotare per meeting and events di ogni genere (senza dover spendere una fortuna). Il locale si presenta come una piccola perla di design, con interni arredati in modo ricercatissimo. Il personale appare gentile e simpatico, specialmente l'assistant manager, Melissa. Had a great lunch here on Monday, the food was delicious and beautifully present, also a very good value! It's a lovely place,warm, relaxing atmosphere and nice deco.Girls working that day were very friendly and helpful. Overall superb experience. The only fault was how difficult it was to locate the menu outside. I think they should make it more visible, as you wouldn't think about this place as a meal destination from what you can see outside, and it's a shame because the food is amazing, would be a shame not to advertise it more.

I was here on saturday, was fairly busy. waiters were friendly and polite. me and my wife went for the special off the day the fresh tagliatelle pasta, with mussels and artichokes. could not fault it was brilliantly plated the pasta was cooked to perfection. mussels were not chewy. you would be surprised how many places cant get these simple things correct. anyway we were seated in the downstairs part of the restaurant. the decoration was quirky and worked really well with the rest of the place. one thing i really liked is that the head chef approached my wife and I to see how everything was, recommended us some dishes and explained what it all was. He also served us the food to our table, it added a really nice touch and made us feel special. Will highly recommend the woodstock tavern to my friends and family

Went for dinner and thought the menu sounded exciting - a British spin on tapas style. Portions were small (even for a tapas style) but the food was tasty. The beef carpaccio was taken straight from a freezer and was served on the plate frozen. The dishes looked quite pretty, but a lot of it is just visual garnish (e.g. a few peas or beans scattered across the plate). Style over substance mostly. Thought it was a bit overpriced as we ordered a lot of sharing plates (more than 3 per person) and still left hungry. Probably better as a lunch venue than for dinner.
