Have eaten many times before but feel the food is bought in processed and not as good quality as before. My wife had the jacket Potato with coronation chicken some months previous which was so nice with pieces of chicken in a nice thick sauce however this time it was thin with small squares of chicken like the processed food seen in supermarkets, my daughters quiche was also a bought in processed quality product will avoid in future

A very popular spot for older launchers, in the Harts of Stur shop in Sturminster, we needed a quick bite and the menu looked OK. Very cheerful and friendly staff, but sadly the food was appalling. My fish finger bap lacked tartare sauce and was made with very cheap and soggy fish fingers. My wife’s panini looked and apparently tasted like cardboard. At over £20 for the above plus 2 elderflower pressés was not good value. Will not be back.

Very attentive and hospitable staff work very hard to provide an excellent service. They are visibly very busy, but make you feel very welcome. All food is of the highest quality and freshness, with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The dining area is spotlessly clean and ordering food is quick and convenient. Menu prices are value for money.

Lovely cafe and lovely staff. The cook/manager guy lets them down. Surly and refuses to bring popular flavours of cakes out until the less popular ones go. Not good hospitality.

Another great visit to Hart’s, both for shopping and lunch! Good parking, a lift to the cafe upstairs and a lovely lunch. The food always tastes good quality but the plated food presentation is not professional. Just a small point but important when prices are rising steadily.

I took my elderly parents here this afternoon for coffee. The staff were extremely attentive and helped to ensure my mum whom was in a wheelchair was happily seated. The same assistant also ensured my mum had a mug for her drink as she could see that the cup she had was not easy for her. The staff made this first visit a pleasure and one we will definitely repeat.

We have visited Hart’s Coffee Restaurant many times over 18 months, and also their large store of shoes, clothes, hats, ECT, and had a very helpful lady called Jo who left her counter to advise us about an Air Frier this was a Tower 11 Litre and spent time explaining how it cooks and all types of food, Jo covered all our questions she was friendly and knowledgeable, so Jo needs a pat on her back from Hart’s for being a great assistant. I bought my wife another pair of shoes and Teeshirt, lovely store and have had many meals in Hart’s coffee loft and know the staff by name. Mr & Mrs D Mascall

Tasty sandwiches with copius fillings, served with coleslaw and salad leaves. All the staff were most hospitable and the tables and cafe were spotlessly clean.

Lunch was okay, nothing special and unfortunately not as good as previous visits. The menu is too mixed. A simple menu done well is all that is needed. Hopefully a better meal on the next return.

This café has a lovely, calm atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming and always have a smile on their face. The food and drinks are very good. This is definitely our favourite café in the area.

Following a recent visit to see family we called in for a drink even though after visiting couple of years back we said we would never return. I must say we were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome received compared to last time. Adam was lovely, couldn’t do enough for us the American lady was equally as welcoming! What a turn around well done all concerned look forward to seeing you again next year!

I called in to buy some lunch and was served by a polite and friendly young lady by the name Louise, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Absolutely horrendous stay. The landlords had the heating on a time in sub zero temperatures. The 'apartment' we had booked was absolutely freezing. I had to put my children to bed fully clothed. The drains in the room smelt putrid like raw sewage. We made a booking for 4. Only 3 beds made up and towels only provided for 2. We made the sofa bed up at 8pm for my daughter and were missing half of the bedding. Went down to the pub at 8:20pm to request some bedding and pillows to find it all locked up for the night. The food. Diabolical. Black chips, a bit of Asda value frozen fish and peas drier than anything. The landlady was miserable and needs to find a new profession. Would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy. We checked out after 1 night and returned home. Absolute dive.

I'm a regular at this, my local Costa. Staff are excellent. The gal(Lauren) and the guys are friendly and professional - most importantly they know how to make lovely coffee. Problems - not because of the store's staff :- sometimes deliveries to the store are not in schedule 🤦leading to low stocks of cakes, sandwiches etc .... Some comments have noted *dirty tables* whatever. Sometimes the 2 on duty (occasionally even 1) can be overwhelmed for a few minutes with customers. However ask them to clear/clean your table and it will be done ASAP. Plus as soon as the short rush is over normal cleaning etc is done. The store and toilet ARE wheelchair (accessable).
