Celebrated my birthday at Beetons with afternoon tea. Table reserved. Scrumptious selection, of beautifully prepared cake, savouries. Staff were great, very attentive and great value for money too. Beetons and Tisbury is well worth the visit. Will be back

What a gem, food was really excellent, couldn't wish for a better start to a holiday in the west country.

A wonderful venue with delicious snacks, cakes, coffee, etc. Always a must-go-to for me when I'm in the area.

Pleasant clean, good tea, good selection on the menu.

Lovely salad and scones. Unique sodas and loose leaf tea.

We had cream tea and my daughter had a smoothie an a waffle . The scones were absolutely delicious best I have ever tasted , we picked the royal blend tea which was so nice the staff were lovley and really helpful and the place is reasonably priced great little place x

Visited with my grandparents and cousins yesterday morning, the milkshakes were excellent and the scones were lovely and fluffy - with a rather generous portion of cream and jam :)) both ladies who served us were very friendly and prompt with our drinks and service. I would highly recommend visiting if you're in town :))

I love Beatons! Such friendly staff, the food is always fresh and filling. It's got a really good vibe about the place, definitely worth a visit.

A great spot for lunch in Tisbury, food is top notch - the crushed avocado on toast was perfect. Really good service too.

Update on stay here Tues 7th, 10 days on: excellent!! Very good . Many thanks. Nice coffee food kind friendly warm pleasant service. And from good young staff working kindly and well seems to me, each doing. Good team get-on ways, kindly doing, persevering so too. (The toilet could do with bit of an update and whoever cleans it being more sharp on the ball to make it all sweet & spick and span... like the rest of the lovely place is..!) This is my beliefs and review of here. And will hope to come back more. Visited it 7 years ago on a stay. Still going strong. ! That says something. Appreciated by locals community too very much it seems. Friendly to all, welcoming spirit way too, it seems, / I find. Thank you. --- On my stay here very nice to find,- again/anew. Very good! Much appreciated of a Sunday morning such polite service even if young staff not just quite so sharply with it, learning the good ropes. But all very polite and in the patient atmosphere we all need. And maybe a bit more so 2020s just now. Very good much enjoyed: coffee bacon sandwich and very tasty warmed croissant with jam. Tasty food and a nice coffee and tea. Thank!! you.

Surprisingly quiet when we arrived for a late lunch on bank holiday Monday but a great stop off after visiting Old Wardour Castsle a few minutes drive away. They were very good with the kids and accommodated us very well. I enjoyed the Rarebit, and the Carrot Cake was amazingly moist and delicious!

Cake and coffee on a lovely afternoon

Good Friday turned into a really bad one. We had not been to Beatons for 3 months because we said we would never go back, but they say time heals. The order for my wife and I was, Scrambled Egg on Toast, Crispy Bacon and Egg Sandwich (Poached), and 2 One Shot Lattes. The young waitress was very pleasant. Unfortunately she then went on to serve 2 customers that arrived after us which ment we didn't get our drinks till after our cooked breakfast arrived. My wife had a third coffee and two thirds foam. Really bad result. The food came and my wifes egg on toast was one slice of toast, a bit mean. When I opened my sandwich the bacon was nearly raw, the fat around the outside was still transparent, this is supposed to be crispy as said on the Menu. I really couldn't eat this, I asked the young waitress to have it cooked more so it went back to the kitchen. 10 mins later it returned with the same egg which was now 15mins old and cold, and the same bread. I would have thought a new sandwich would arrive back that would be done correctly, but no. I did eat it but it wasn't nice. I went to pay (over £20) for the experience, no apology, just a request for the full amount. As she was young I didn't make a fuss, just said 'you shouldn't be charging me for the sandwich, it was awful,' her response was to lift the card machine for the payment in silence. This is what happens when you employ school children to run your Tearoom and kitchen. Absolutely never again, and I live in the village and could have been a regular income. It will be interesting to see if I get a response to this.

Was unable to try anything as the cafe isn’t dog friendly. Which was a shame because my family and I, plus my very small dog, had travelled especially to try the coffee and cakes. Seems a shame to exclude the majority. We weren’t even offered a takeaway!

Lovely tearoom with great staff who are always always friendly and professional. We called only for a toasted teacake and cup of coffee, both of which were superb.

New review because... they now do something called an 'Avo-go-go' and it's FANTASTIC. And fun to order 'An avo-go-go not to go-go!!!. A great favourite tea place of mine, especially as I'm heading back to Wiltshire. Harry, Mia and team know how to look after you and the ambiance is relaxing, a touch jazzy and as friendly as it gets.

The cake we ordered was very stale and the fizzy drinks we had were quite over priced. The sandwich was very basic, as the bread used was just a shop brought thin bread

A really lovely neighbourhood café with exceptionally friendly staff. I had the avocado on toast with bacon and poached eggs, it was delicious. Coffee also high quality. The café is in a beautiful setting in the centre of the village, and there are some outdoor tables for sunny days.

We hadn't been here in some time, the food was good even if the order was incorrect, but these things happen, and the people working there were very pleasant but we sat waiting a long time to have our plates cleared so thought there was no rush and we were planning what cakes to order, when we were told that our table was needed. This would not have been an issue if we had known from the outset, as it was we went to the lovely bird and Carter for our cake.

A very relaxing time and the food was good.

Quaint and tidy. A very large selections of teas. They had none of the only vegan option on the menu though.

Beatons is a lovely Tearoom and we have visited several times, the tea and coffee was delicious, although the scones were tasty, we were a little disappointed that they were so small and no rise in them at all……

Stopped off for a coffee with a cycling friend. We didn't eat but will be going again and probably will. Has a book corner and sells books. Lovely venue

Light, quiet a good place for a relaxed meeting. The scones looked good but the walnut and coffee cake had the texture of a vegan cake without being labelled as such.

Lovely service and Atmosphere for a meet with friends. I had Eggs Benedict for brunch, very nice but the sauce was watery.

I absolutely loved their decor and vibe the moment I walked in! The lady at the store was so sweet and welcoming. Their scones were fluffy and soft with delectable savory and sweet options & the loose leaf tea was so fresh making it the best tea I've had during my visit in England. The bree n cranberry sandwich had the softest bread ever tasted that melts in your mouth. The French press coffee was so fresh and the experience of pressing it yourself is one of a kind. The towels in the bathroom was also so cute loved it! Will most definitely come back here if I visit again!

Very pleasant old style tea shop with a good selection of cakes.

We had a lovely evening trying different cocktails accompanied by some very tasty snacks. Would thoroughly recommend a visit on a Friday night.

Gorgeous place, welcoming staff and lovely tasty scones!

What a wonderful experience! We wanted to have a light lunch on our way home and Googled "tearooms". Beatons came up and it was well worth the visit. On our way to it we passed through the most beautiful villages and Tisbury didn't disappoint either. The staff were welcoming and attentive - although not overly so - and the service was very quick. My jacket potato was baked to perfection and the Coronation chicken sandwich my husband chose was lavishly filled. All in all a perfect end to our weekend away.

Not the quickest service on cocktail night, pleasant atmosphere, but not my cup of tea. The mocktails seem over priced

Got a cake and coffee to takeaway. Both delicious, will have some again when I’m in Tisbury next.

We sat outside in the sun which was very nice. Huge choice of teas and coffee, great choice of traditional cakes plus scones with jam and cream or toasted tea cake with butter and jam. Would recommend if you find yourself in Tisbury.

A lovely traditional tea shop in a beautiful village. The staff were all friendly and polite and the homemade scones, chutney and jam were lovely. Scones were served warm which was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back another time.

Went out for a drive and stopped at this tea room for a coffee and light bite. It was fabulous and the food was great. They had some lovely cakes as well but I was to full to try. So many different teas to choose from and hubby said his latte was very good. The service was excellent very friendly young lady.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea, food was delicious, especially the maple and parsnip cake, would highly recommend, lovely atmosphere and great staff attending all your needs, will be going back again.

Absolutely adored this tearoom. Beautiful crockery; fabulous food; great staff. The Cherry Sencha and Ginger Polenta cake are delicious. My only disappointment was they wouldn't let me sneak my cup and saucer into my bag. 😁 Highly recommend and will definitely return. 💞

Lovely! We visited for Sunday breakfast enroute to Devon. What a find, there were 5 in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and our visit. An amazing "find", in the small village of Tisbury, Wiltshire. Delish fresh scones, jam and clotted cream. Tea is served in teapots, with cakes served from a central display. Recommended.

Lovely fresh bread for my sandwiches and salad garnish was fresh and tasty. Carrot cake is so delicious and made on the premises. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble will definitely be back can highly recommend it

A nice mix of spotless and fresh (white chairs, fairly unfussy decor) and cosy (fire in winter.) Friendly staff and good cakes, too! Outdoor seating adds to the relaxed feel (rugs for when it's chilly).... It's not completely unique (I believe it is a franchise) but it does what it does very nicely indeed.

Food was excellent, service was very slow. The latter can be off-putting when deciding on whether or not to return. The location was excellent.

Lovely tearoom in Tisbury with a Cecil Beaton theam. The staff and service are very good, the tea lovely and cake was superb. It is my second visit and after the first I taylored my cycle ride to stop here. Will visit again with out a doubt.

I was really hoping to have a slice of cake or slice with a loose leaf tea but as they didn't have any Vegan options cake and slice wise, I chose to go elsewhere. Service was good and friendly. I liked the decor and it felt very inviting, clean and cosy. I do hope they look at providing Vegan cakes and slices.

Me and my fiance went here at the end of our mini break. Hands down the best tea room ive ever been too.

Highly recommend the caramel flavoured tea! Went nicely with my warm scones. We also chose a slice of cake each to take home to Bristol, a lovely end to our trip.

Popped in today after a long walk for refreshments to go. Hot Chocolate was fantastic and the cakes delicious. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back.

Rarely am I so impressed! This place has the whole experience planned out start to finish professional. So covid process thorough and felt safe. Decor and theme sparkling clean to Beaton icon. Fresh cooked scones perfect topped with ample thick cream and strawberry tasting jam complete with berries. Good choice of teas all loose leaf in a large pot without having to ask. Brilliant. They do other options too so will be back. Well done guys keep smiling.

We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday with one table occupied inside. We sat inside (covid compliant), a family came in after us, followed by a lone person. Unfortunately we were left until last to order, and as a result the lone person had tea, cake, paid and left prior to us even being being served anything. We finally received our tea over 30 mins after we arrived... Great range of tea, good food albeit on the more expensive side... Shame that we didn't have a good experience...

Lovely place with decent tea and sandwiches

The food was nice and lovely presented and the drinks lovely too. One down side no high chairs available and due to the covid guidelines tables are unable to be moved meaning we had to have a child.on our knee (Our choice to go ahead and do so no issue with this). We were lucky enough to have the help out to eat out as we visited on a Wednesday however had we not I do think this place is on the expensive side for what you got.
