Food was cold and tasteless yet overly priced

Fantastic location! But the decor; pub painted mostly in black and brown felt very oppressive. It felt as If I was in a cave! I would love to see it painted with light colours and the wood on the ceiling back to their natural beauty. Won't return as it is too depressing!

Good service, good food and great views over the Thames. Parking available.

Went for Sunday lunch with a few friends. Absolutely amazing food, including the veggie roast and desserts. Highly recommend asking for a table by the windows overlooking the river

Stayed with my partner's sister in Surbiton and treated her to dinner at her favourite riverside inn. Very attentive staff, excellent food and seats that were comfortable for way longer than 15 minutes. The Muzak could have been better but otherwise Katie and Nick couldn't have done more for us. We’ve just had lunch, looked after by the lovely Katie, who was very attentive and demonstrated her knowledge of the menu by recommending a few spot on options. A great spot to eat, drink (or both!) by the river, with super friendly knowledgeable staff and a superb atmosphere

Really had a wonderful time. Beautiful place. Great views of the river and staff were so friendly. Everyone kept on asking if we were okay and if we needed anything. Delicious food and great service. Star of it all was we were served by a South African waiter, and it made it even more special for us. Well done and worth a visit.

I had the salmon from the specials menu and it was delicious. I often come here and always enjoy the food, another favourite of mine is the pork belly. Absolutely love the dessert selection too

Lovely pub/restaurant by the river. Food was lovely and staff friendly. Lower patio area floods in particularly hightides but plenty of other seating options. Dog friendly. Parking free if you enter reg at bar.

Had a fantastic meal here with the family involving 2 young children. Niall, our host looked after us so well including going back and forth to doublecheck food items as one of our daughters has allergies. Lovely pub and restaurant - would recommend to anyone!

We traveled up to Surbiton to visit family today and always come to the boat year for our meal out. Our service at The Boatyard was fantastic. Our server, Jack, was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We look forward to coming again to see Jack and all the friendly staffat The Boatyard.

Brilliant location, food is v good and portions are large. It's so lovely to see people canoeing, rowing, sculling, and sailing on the river. Watch runners and family along the river path. Free Car Parking for patrons. Very good service, the staff is very welcoming and polite.

Unfortunately ended up with food poisoning - scallops or sea bass likely the cause. Will not be returning.

Our family went here for the Mother's Day Sunday roast and had a great experience while there! We had a wonderful server named Madi, who was so friendly and attentive - we felt very well taken care of. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant from the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door to the time we left. The roast was delicious and dessert even better. We will definitely be eating here again!

A fantastic pub, a varied selection of food & drinks, with very good prices. Beautiful views of the Thames. Great staff who are always accommodating & children and animal friendly.

My Fiance and I hosted our engagement party on Saturday 24th Feb and we couldn't have had a better time. The staff were amazing so accommodating and venue was beautiful. Reservation process was efficient, we could add special request (window seat) as well which was fulfilled. Staff were very welcoming, our waiter was great. He is knowledgeable and could give feedback on dishes we were interested in. The food was really good, we had trio roast, duo roast and fig & dolce roast. All absolutely delicious. All round a fantastic visit to one of our favourite restaurants - we have been coming for more than a decade! We've had our son's baptism party here, we've been for evening drinks at the bar, lunch outdoors in the summer, cosy winter roasts in the winter with window seating, senior events and much more. We love it every time we visit!

Had another lovely meal. Staff are really helpful, especially Aden, Jake and James. Sea Bass really nice but not so keen on the excess of tomatoes. Really lovely interior.

Went to a Sunday roast with friends, got the beef duo, was absolutely delicious. Staff members were extremely polite, including the staff member James.

Went there for private dining and it was affordable, we were celebrating a special occasion. We were served by Aiden and his team, who were very helpful. The mains and starters were great, don't forget to order sauce separately for your ribeye steak cause it does not come with one. I ordered the cheesecake trio which was a letdown. We were allowed to bring our own cake and speakers for music, which made our gathering all the more special. The interiors are of good taste and on sunset, you'll have a lovely view of the river. Recommend it!

I’ve been here before and food was delicious. Terrible meal this time, my daughters sausages and onions both burnt. Waiter not bothered. Burgers overcooked and had greasy/oily taste. Sent everything back except other daughter fish and chips which she enjoyed.

Amazing venue for any and every occasion. Liz the Managaress is so welcoming and competent. We ordered different dishes of food and she simply listened - no pen or paper and our meals were correct. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting. The food was superb and was served without waiting too long. I would highly recommend Hart's Boatyard to all! Prices were extremely reasonable. Views amazing. A lovely warm fire 🔥 going in colder weather. A great pop in pub and have a drink! Parking on the premises without having to pay. Simply log in your number plate.

The place is nice. The food was good. They took a little bit longer till we asked again for the desert, but they apologised and brought it back quickly the second time.

Late being served, late food arrival. Food was substandard & either cold or luke warm. One item arrived with rocket looking so limp & frazzled, it looked like the dish had been hanging around for days.
