Outstanding food, the beef carpaccio was delicious and both the seabass and tuna steak we took for mains were impecably cooked and flavoursome. I would like to have seen better knowledge of the wines from the waiter which would have helped us better navigate the wine list. For the style of restaurant, I find that the location is wrong. It is off Oxford Street and right by Selfeidge’s, so attracts a heavy footfall of shoppers that meant the ambiance didn’t feel special. It felt more like a casual dining restaurant, when Harry’s is nothing but. If you are looking for a special meal after some retail therapy, then this will be your bag, but if you are visiting outside of this for a special occasion then I do not recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience at Harry’s was disappointing due to overcharging on the bill. The prices on the bill were higher than those listed on the menu, with an extra £1-£2 added to each item. The total should have been £92.29, including the service charge, but the bill showed £97.04. What made it worse was that the staff member insisted on us paying quickly and didn’t allow us enough time to double-check the bill. This behavior is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant of this caliber. And the forks and plates were dirty and clearly not washed properly, which was unacceptable for a restaurant of this standard. I hope this issue is addressed, and service quality.

I’m giving a 1-star review across all categories because after my experience today, it doesn’t feel right to rate anything higher. I was deeply disappointed with how I was treated at Harry’s. The experience was particularly unacceptable, and I couldn’t help but feel discriminated against and seen as an inconvenience to the staff. We sat outside as the restaurant couldn’t accommodate a buggy indoors, which we were fine with. We tucked ourselves away in a corner to stay out of the way. However, midway through our meal, a waitress came over and told me to move the buggy, stating it shouldn’t be there. She questioned who had allowed us to put it there and demanded (not politely asked) that I collapse it, insisting it couldn’t stay. When I asked where she expected me to put it or if she’d prefer we just leave, she rolled her eyes and said, “I’ll come back when you’ve figured it out,” before walking away. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable in a restaurant. None of the other staff stepped in to help or offer a solution, leaving us with no choice but to leave. I won’t be returning to Harry’s. This was hands down one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had.

Service was horrible, pre booked here on a Saturday evening at 7:30, we where taken to our table and instantly told we’d have to leave Within a hour and a half (this was said in a very passive aggressive tone). Following this after 5 minutes of ordering starters and drinks, we where ushered to order mains without even receiving starters or drinks, i politely said can we have 5 minutes I’ve yet to look at the menu, which was met with a awkward silence and weird look making me and my partner very uncomfortable. Around 5 minutes later and no signs of our drinks are starters arrived, these were fine nothing special. After finishing these (still no drinks) we ordered our mains, not even 10 minutes later our mains came out, by then i politely asked if they knew where our drinks where, after this we finally received 1 glass of wine and one Hugo spritz. After one sip of the Hugo spritz you could this was made completely wrong, by then we felt so uncomfortable and decided to leave. In the process of leaving we were charged a £10.15 service charge. Overall I’d not recommend coming here, an I certainly won’t be coming back.

We visited Harry’s today with my girlfriend, and wanted to order the wild mushroom and truffle pizza which costed around £19. The waitress offered a “festive season” pizza which was also with truffles, to which İ asked to add extra wild mushrooms. She did not let me know the price, and so İ thought it will cost around the same amount. To our surprise it was £38.95. Now the problem is not how much that particular pizza costed (even though £40 for a pizza is too much) but the fact that we were not let know beforehand that it will cost us double the original one. What if İ only budgeted to spend a certain amount of money for my meal? I can buy whatever I want according to my pocket but knowing the price of it is the most basic consumer right. Cannot say the food was bad, but the service was extremely indecent and dishonest. Did not expect this from Harry’s.

We ordered tartufo and mushroom pizza and a few things from the Christmas menu. The girl who took our order said that she recommended the pizza, which was not on the Christmas menu, it was “more tartufo". We accepted. Pizza and food came to the table, there was no tartufo, we ate half of the pizza, they brought tartufo. And the account is terrible! a £19 pizza sold for £38. That's right, the mushroom pizza has arrived. There was no difference between what we showed from the menu. Dec. Tartufo came to the table too late. Did you put gold in it? Why are you fooling us? What is the benefit to the staff when the staff writes an excessive price for the same product? Were you pocketing too much money?? What's going on in there? I will complain to all of you. Why did we pay 38 for a pizza that was 17 on your menu????

The moment we walked in we were directed to our table. The waitress Soda was a joy from the beginning, she made the experience all the more better with her jokes and checking in on us, making sure we were very comfortable. As we arrived early for our prebooked reservation, we were asked by receptionist to wait at the bar.. despite there being at least 4 staff members behind the bar, not one served us, not even asked if we wanted a drink. Should've left then! We were eventually seated at what looked like a spare table in the middle of the walkway. Not much room to put 2 plates on! I asked if we could be moved to another table and was told there were no tables ready, we could clearly see that there were at least 3 free tables aleady set. We were given menus, but we seemed to be invisible. Terrible attitude from staff. Sat for about 20 minutes, weren't even asked if we'd like to order our drinks. My experience at the restaurant was, unfortunately, mixed. The atmosphere is very pleasant, but I had a few issues with the service. The waiter who attended us was somewhat discourteous when explaining the vegan options available, responding in a way that didn’t show much respect for what was on the menu. Additionally, at one point, a waitress interrupted our table conversation without being invited, which I found disrespectful. As for the dishes, the lobster ravioli was disappointing: the portion was small and definitely not worth the price, to the point that we had to eat at another restaurant afterward. On the other hand, the mushroom dessert was the highlight of the evening—surprising and delicious.

I was working here a few months ago, the managers tell you that this place is very famous, important rich people come here, it is a high level of hospitality, but then workers like Food Runner are paid the minimum in a pub in any neighbourhood, they pay more than that place and most of the restaurants in Mayfair, especially Caprice Holdings, treat employees badly, they never speak English, they are always speaking in Italian, for me that is a lack of respect, we are in the United Kingdom, not in Italy, this has to start changing, we are people, it does not matter the position, not the numbers, I do not want to generalize, not all the people who work there are rude, but they have to improve the treatment of employees. They are always talking about Richard Caring, it seems like a sect of human resources that does nothing because they always prefer to be next to the managers.

Visited yesterday 20.11.2024. Time was 21:00 I entered the restaurant and politely asked if they could accommodate a table for ONE, as I do not have a booking. I was fully prepared to be told they were booked with reservations and I'd have to look elsewhere for food. Instead, the hostess suggested they could prepare a table but it would be about a 20 minute wait. She suggested I sit at the bar while I wait. This is pretty standard, and I happily complied. I was grateful they could accommodate me. I proceeded to the bar and ordered myself a drink. 5 minutes later I was given a menu by the same hostess. 10 minutes later, the same hostess returns and to my surprise, tells me she can't sit me at the table for food because I AM A PARTY OF ONE, which is against their 'policy' and she was told this by her General Manager. 1) This is a discriminatory and should not be enforced anywhere. It treats you disrespectfully. As a single woman, dining on my own is an experience I enjoy and fully support other woman to try. The message this establishment sends is insensitive and humiliating. I am quite comfortable on my own, but after this experience, it has been on my mind for the rest of my evening and into today. It has affected me so much sothat I am writing this review. This ill treatment seems so absurd to me, that I am even contemplating if this was something more, perhaps my physical appearance? My clothing? My skin colour? I was very polite and understanding, so it doesn’t make sense to me that I would be met with such disdain. 2) The fact they entertained the idea that I would have been given a table, wasted my time. If I wasn't going to be served, it would have been fair to say so from the very beginning. Ie. The restaurant is full with reservations, OR only the bar is open for drinks, food will be stopped soon. ANY number of acceptable reasons… but I was deliberately misguided and wasted 20 minutes of my time that I could have spent going elsewhere. I work hard, had a long day, and was eagerly anticipating treating myself to a 3 course meal and expecting kind, respectful hospitality. I was very wrong.. May I suggest the restaurant ISOLA around the corner. After this heartbreaking experience, I went to ISOLA. Very fairly, they let me know the dining room was full but could seat me immediately at one of the available booths. She was kind, hospitable, professional, respectful. It was my first time there and I will return many times now, and bring my family and friends. A good memory was made, replacing a pretty awful experience at HARRYS MARYLEBONE. They have lost out on this customer and everyone I know. Also, I typically send more money on my own than I do with company.

I had a wonderful experience at Harry’s bar. Our waitress Ankita recommend us to try their signature Signorina mayfair which was delightful! She was warm and friendly and she made sure everything was to our liking. Her sense of humour added a great touch to her service. I’ll definitely order the same drink during my next visit 👍🏻

I knew nothing about this restaurant prior to booking. It was a spur of the moment decision and as this restaurant was part of the Ivy Collection, I thought it would be a winner. How wrong I was! I'm Italian so I know Italian food. Ambience and service were good and the waiter polite. Tables too close together. We ordered a starter of bread which was very nice. Main dishes dreadful. My mother ordered Harry's seafood spaghetti and I ordered the linguine vongole. £25 for each dish. Pasta is a hearty meal and I felt my portion wasn't even 100g. I took one look at the clams and knew we had a problem. Clam shells, but no clams. I had 7 clams and about 12 shells. Worse was my mum had mussels and out of 12 she had 2 tiny mussels. 1 vongole out of 6 shells and 2 prawns. There was something else in her dish which we couldn't describe. The sauce was bland, no garlic, no onions, wine, herbs. It was tasteless. I complained to the waiter who came back and said we wouldn't be charged for my mother's meal and they cooked a few more clams and mussels. They didn't take her dish away so by the time the extra seafood arrived her pasta was cold. I ate mine, I was hungry but it was awful. The replacement seafood was just as bad as the first lot, empty shells and what was the sauce in the bottom of the dish!!!!Hideous. I asked to speak to the manager. I asked him to get a spoon and taste the sauce, he didn't. I asked him what was the sauce...it was like drinking warm oil with a touch of cream. He said, the chef had to make a sauce to cook the seafood. I told him the chef didn’t know how to make a sauce because he has no clue what garlic is. To be honest the manager's attitude was shoddy. I will be writing to head office, as Im appauled with the standard of food! He really didn't care! He said he would pass on our comments to the chef! I don't think he will. I certainly won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone, the worst meal I have ever had.

Ankita took such good care of us, was very attentive and patient to explain different items on the menu. Ankita made the experience of dining at Harry’s that bit more special and we are keen to return. We, as restaurant frequenters, recommend the truffle aaroncini and tiramisu espresso martini very delectable.

Went for lunch on Wednesday. Not too busy, good menu with many dishes to choose from. The team seems to be knowledgeable and attentive. Not sure of the olives as the portion was tiny and most likely out of the jar. Loved the donuts with chocolate cream. Never do take away yet could not resist this one. So I still enjoyed it in the evening.
