First time visiting after a recommendation. Really friendly staff and an excellent full English breakfast. The bacon and sausages are of good quality like butchers. I’d definitely go again.

Undoubtedly the finest breakfast this side of the Irish Sea. A silver lining in what is a thundery black cloud that is modern Barnstaple.

While trying to find somewhere to get a sandwich in Barnstaple, we stumbled across this little gem. We have been to Barnstaple before but never to this street. Our bad directions served us well. We were met with warmth and showed to our table, given our menus and given time to look. We chose two sandwiches; tuna and cucumber, ham and cheese. The food was absolutely great! The granary bread was fresh, top ingredients and serve with a lovely salad and amazing homemade coleslaw. The sandwiches were very tasty and filling and the staff including the owner took time to chat. I will definitely be returning again (maybe today), to sample other items on the menu. Well done Harry’s

Found this little gem as we were wandering around Barnstaple. Amazingly welcoming, especially as I use a mobility scooter which can cause problems, mainly due to my driving! Great menu, lovely food, freshly cooked. We will be back 🙂

Popped in for lunch. Friendly waitress saw me to the table, chatted over my order and then had a great meal. Nice old fashioned service, good local produce and reasonable prices. Seemed to be plenty of locals there, always a good sign to see repeat business from the towns residents!

We had lunch here on a gloomy November Saturday, a ray of sunshine we found in Harry's. Freshly cooked hot and delicious food. Friendly and genuine staff . Highly recommend this little gem.

We stopped here on our travels for breakfast, WOW such a gorgeous breakfast! Hot, delicious and plenty of it. The lovely ladies were chatty and because we choose filter coffee we had a fill up too, awesome way to enjoy such a beautiful breakfast. Thank you chef and ladies :0)

Great cafe. Passing through Barnstaple we stopped for lunch and we’re really pleased we found this excellent place, dog friendly too. So dog friendly in fact that she was given a sausage as a treat whilst we ate lunch. Good cafe food from a quite extensive menu of cafe staples and more bistro type food. Both ladies serving, one was the owner, could not have been more friendly and welcoming. What a really great place to lunch (all day breakfast too….!).

A gem of a cafe that has a really nice feel inside and the food is superb and very reasonable. Portion sizes are generous and everything is fresh with lots of local produce. Everyone loved it and you may miss it as it’s just away from the high street. Try it and you will love it.

Harrys has got it right. It specialises in Full English Breakfasts and much more, but Greasy Spoon isn't, although prices are very reasonable. Most of the breakfast we were served was made using local produce -the bacon and sausages being particularly tasteful. If you don't want one of the ingredients, they'll make it up with a larger portion of something else if you ask. Teas are also a cut above the norm - I had a Clipper Tea Lemon and Ginger tea. The staff are delightfully friendly, and the place has a lively vibe. I noticed that high chairs are provided for babes, too, so everybody is welcome.
