Harry Ramsdens Swindon in Wiltshire

As I’m a northerner Harry Ramsdens is very close to my heart,so when I visited the one in Swindon I was a little apprehensive about what they would serve up. It was all superb,and the staff were so friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Patatas fritas recalentadas, salchichas barato y desagradable servida por alguien que claramente no quería estar allí. No es lo que esperarías de Harry Ramsden. Lo que ha sucedido con las normas que Harry y hizo tan exitosa?

Pagamos sólo 25 libras por: 1 regular Cod + chips,1 grande Cod + patatas fritas, blanda guisantes, salsa curry, pepinillos cortados en cuadrados, 2 tazas de té y Yorkshire extra grandes salchichas (para los dog) ... , Lo que fue cuidadosamente envueltos :0) La pasta en el pescado era luz y crujientes (ni una gota de aceite) y las patatas fritas eran 'real' rústicas degustación patatas! El personal era muy amable, educado y servicial, y nos sentamos a comer, a 10 minutos de pedir ... ventaja! El perro disfrutamos de su salchicha ... Y, él conoce una buena salchicha ;0) recomendaríamos que usted visita este establecimiento y disfrute de la mejor Harry ramsden tiene para ofrecer. Que él orgulloso!

Realmente disfrutamos su pescado y patatas fritas. El pescado tenía pasta crujientes y el pescado era para morirse! aros de cebolla eran deliciosos y patatas fritas eran deliciosas!

Realmente no disfrutar de la pasada pescado aquí/ Las fichas no eran mucho mejores. Esto es siempre un lugar \quería visitar pero estaba muy decepcionado.

2 star quality at 5 star prices. Very poor value and they even charge a small fortune for a teaspoon of sauce. I'm only suprised they don't charge extra for the salt. Stear well clear of this place unless you enjoy being ripped off.

Called here one evening while out shopping. The fish was nice, the chips were pretty boring and there wasn't many of them. It took a while to have them cooked, which meant they were at least fresh, because they weren't busy. It seemed quite expensive for what it was and didn't really seem value-for-money.

Been to several Harry Ramsden's, always thought they were consistent, but this one is way below average. Service was indifferent chips were more like stale, soggy crisps. I do object to being charged 20p for a piddling little sachet of tomato ketchup. There's far better value out there.

After paying £15 for our haddock and chips I thought they'd throw in a couple of free sachets of sauce but no. I'll be taking my custom to KFC in future where you do get free sauce!

Situated in a US Style food court this fish and chip stand is usually one of the more popular of the selection so at weekend lunchtimes be prepared to queue. The service is appalling, people queue in any order meaning tempers fray. Sixteen year old uninterested assistants bellow orders from behind the counter to those that have given up the wait and gone elsewhere. Anything other than cod and chips invokes an especially long wait time. Despite £13 for two meals the Tartar Sauce is an extra cost of course. It's the little things like this that really grate people but charging for sauce still happens. The quality of the food once delivered was however adequate. In essence if its busy give it a miss
