Ten of us had lunch here. First the positives...The staff were excellent, polite helpful and efficient. However, food was very mixed. The Cod & chips were huge, two pieces of cod with nice crispy batter. The Sea Bream however was extremely small. I've seen bigger anchovies (which brings me on to me Caesar Salad). I ordered a Caesar salad with poached duck egg for my mains. When it arrived, the romaine lettuce came with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumber. For God's Sake!! hasn't the chef ever done a Caesar salad before? What the hell was cucumber & tomato doing in it? It had no anchovies, only a couple of croutons and a bare sprinkling of Parmesan. I asked about the cheeseboard and was told it comprised of Cheddar, Shropshire Blue and Goat's cheese. I asked if I could just have the Shropshire blue. When it arrived the cheese was actually Stilton not Shropshire blue. The restaurant is in a nice location next to the lake, but the kitchen really need to get their act together. No wonder we were the only ones there!

My wife and I visited Easter Monday for dinner. We had booked many weeks in advance, when we arrived we were told there was a reduced menu and shown to our table. The starters were ok, nothing to write home about, the mains, one beef and one pork belly were a poor standard, the beef was dry and tough the pork was also tough and the skin soggy not crisp, the vegetables were very over done. Hardly fine dinning. If the kitchen wasn't up to full strength I wish we had been informed before our visit.

We had lunch at Harrisons Restaurant in the Cadmore Lakeside Hotel, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire in March 2019. The hotel sits beside a large lake and our table in the restaurant overlooked the lake, fountain and swans. We were the only lunch guests in the very attractive dining room and were so well looked after by the charming and attentive staff; the service was excellent and ably provided by the delightful E. We had several dishes to choose from on their Winter Menu. The freshly prepared food was timely; hot; very well presented on HOT plates and so delicious. The whole visit was very, very enjoyable and we plan to return and, of course, have no hesitation in recommending Harrisons Restaurant. We simply cannot fault them. You must visit them. The setting is beautiful, the food is excellent and prices were surprisingly reasonable. If you are involved in wedding planning or corporate entertaining you have the whole package in one place - hotel accommodation (with spa and swimming pool), first class restaurant (mid range & fine dining - as per TripAdvisor's options), beautiful grounds for photographs and very attentive staff who (it seemed to us on our short visit) want to do all they can to make your visit/stay as happy and as comfortable as possible. There is a charming watermill in the grounds. It seems as though it is in the depths of the pretty Worcestershire countryside, but it is well worth finding it - you will not be disappointed.

Overall a great meal. Good food. Good service. The only thing is for me the restaurant lacks atmosphere. It’s all very nice but it’s a bit brightly lit and just a bit old fashioned. Having said that I would go back because the food was great.

I booked afternoon tea for 19 people to attend a baby shower for a friend. Communication before was great and on arrival we were greeted and shown to the table. They were very amenable to us decorating the table/area and even provided another table for gifts. The food and presentation was lovely and everyone commented on how relaxed it felt with no pressure to leave. The portions were huge with at least a 3rd left over which we were able to take away!

WELL, WELL the improvement from the W.I. meal, was outstanding, the feed back from the 20+ of the group was great with empty plates all round over the 3 courses. The Salmon for starters was tasty and very well presented, the duck was delicious and again very well presented. Same went for the turkey, and the fish course, others in the group had chosen. Also the portions were very generous, the service was better planned and it was nice not to have to ask for bread with the salmon this time, a nice touch to have the bread in a small basket with butter for two. All round we all had an enjoyable evening.....Thank you.............I didn’t take any photo’s this time as there wasn’t anything left to take.

On first impressions didn't think the selection was huge but good grief, what they do, they do so well! And good sized portions. The bread and olives at the start of the meal was a lovely touch. Lovely wine menu to match and a nice selection of local beers and spirits. The menu has some subtle changes from one day to the next so no problem finding a different choice if you are there, like us , for the weekend. And the breakfast was glorious, so much choice in the hot section - all cooked to order. Maybe a fresh fruit salad or bigger fruit choice would be good? Staff very accommodating if you need to alter anything. But keep doing what you are all doing - we shall be back!!!

We booked my husband's birthday dinner last week for 6 of us. The ambiance was relaxed and friendly, drinks in the cosy bar followed by a 3 course meal which was delicious and prettily served. The staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend this place for a special occasion or romantic evening. We are coming back next week with another couple of friends.

Came here for Sunday lunch with a large group. My first bad note was the un ironed table cloths on the tables which looked awful, the tables would have looked better without the table cloths! The food took ever so long to arrive and the waitresses are untrained. My roast pork was ok, However another member of my party who had roast beef had his bought out once we had finished ours and the veg selection now cold. We weren’t offered any horseradish, mustard, apple sauce or any condiments we may have wanted. The desserts were nice, however I would guess they are bought in. Not impressed and I doubt we will return.

We found this hotel purely to try out the restaurant. Food was perfectly cooked , obviously from fresh ingredients, and the scallops, lemon sole and steaks were the best quality we have experienced for some while , even in this foodie part of the country. Desserts made on site (we checked) and perfect. the charlotte russe and toffee pudding light, not too sweet and well...wow !

The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was fine. We felt the experience was more gastro-pub than fine dining. The presentation of the menus was poor. Very small type crammed on to one side of an A4 sheet. The tables were in a melamine wood effect without table cloths. The food was well cooked and the quantities were generous but the presentation was lacking in finesse.

Large party for special occasion. Such a lovely restaurant. The roast beef melted in your mouth. Costs only a little more than a pub Sunday lunch but so worth it. Service was spot on. Thank you we’ll see you again!

The setting of this restaurant is amazing beside a beautiful lake. We were lucky that it stayed dry and were able to enjoy drinks outside before our meal. Staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Fillet steak cooked to perfection. I chose a chocolate and passion fruit delish which was very nice. Nice to have a good quality restaurant in the area and will definately be returning.

Unfortunately would not recommend at all. Family outing - 10 of us. Checked menu online; quite expensive but didn’t mind as we wanted a nice lunch, arrived to find actually you need to choose from set lunch menu. Ok no, probs. Sit down to choose only to be told again that isn’t the right menu (well maybe remove that off the bar so people don’t pick it up). Ordered a variety of food; among the orders were, what was essentially meant to be 3x ‘ham, egg and chips’ only to receive 3 slices of prepacked, wafer thin, warmed ham slices (we had two butchers sat with us who noticed this straight away) with warm coleslaw. Tasted absolutely disgusting! For the prices charged, as per any other restaurant or pub, I would advise that you serve gammon slices. Cannot believe an establishment, who is trying to build a good reputation, would even consider trying to fob off customers with sandwich sliced ham and charge what you are. Restaurant was very quite so maybe cost cutting but not good at all I am afraid.

We have been three times since it opened at the beginning of June. First time was a lunch for 14. Second time was dinner for 2. Third time was lunch and afternoon cream tea for 31 (and we brought our own entertainer). Having Sunday lunch for 4 tomorrow. Says it all really. Can't fault the quality of the food or the excellent service.

Staff are extremely friendly and always up for a great laugh. Portion sizes are very large, great value for money. Wide range of drinks to suit either a quiet night out or even a messy one. Amazing atmosphere all around be it in the restaurant or the bar. I discovered this little gem on accident, it was a very happy accident and I will be returning without a doubt. Thanks Garry and team

Four of us had a light lunch here yesterday. We had hoped to sit outside by the lake but it was cold so we were in the bistro which is lovely. We all ordered sandwiches which were delicious and presented beautifully with a small selection of dressed salad leaves . We all had banana sponge pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream - a bit like sticky toffee pudding but even better. The staff were immaculately turned out, and genuinely welcoming and helpful. This is such a lovely place and we will definitely be back before long.
