We ordered roast potatoes and they didn’t come and the mash was not potatoes it was swede. Not good

I booked this venue for my mothers Wake. Matt was very friendly & helpful. As the day got close I increased the numbers then on the actual morning I added more. This was no problem for them. Then a lot more people than I expected turned up but this was no problem for Matt, he just said that they would keep sending food as long as we wanted it & true to his word, delicious sandwiches, pizzas, roast potatoes & chips kept arriving. When I paid the bill, Matt only charged me for the final number that I had given, incredible customer service. Highly recommended

We always enjoy the food and service but it looks inside like a refurbishment could be due soon.

Better than last visit,but not as good as sister pub in merry hill. This visit carrots were mushy,peas were like bullets,the rest was fine.

Very poor attitude I ordered 2 go large carveries My partner is in a wheelchair so we did hers first. Then i went, the chef gave me a tiny plate, I said go large mate. No its standard, said i would like a sausage, he said no. He then shaved the turkey, it could not have been cut any thinner you could see through it I know it has to be controlled but i paid £32 for two meals with lemonade

Had an amazing experience here today! We had never been before and everyone was so polite and understanding of my sons Autism! Special thanks to chef Lisa for popping the pulled pork for the philly cheese fries on the side so my son could have cheesy fries as that's all he would eat. You've been amazing and we will definitely be back ❤️

I order for a stated time, and ever time I do, they keep putting the time back by anything up to 25 minutes, why ask what time you want it for, if they are only going to change it?

Lovely food 😋😋 Good place to meet up with friends and family and have a massive carvery and wash it down with a few cheeky ones. Staff are always willing to help and assist... But the first rule not to do is be rude to the chief's.... Or members of staff.....

Visited for an all you can eat breakfast. Food was fresh and piping hot. Good value too.

Showed to table by girl from bar left immediately. Very quite 5pm Tuesday. Sat for 10 mins no one came. One of the younger relative said she would order on phone this was a nightmare had to go back to bar to fine anyone to assist Ok that done. Carvery was disappointing roast potatoes were so well and truly cooked hard with no fluffy middle. I was told by 2 who had pizza that supermarket frozen were better with more taste. My family will not be going there again We also lost out on deals by ordering by phone as this didn't pick up

Probably the worst Carvery we’ve ever eaten anywhere. The place was dirty, yes dirty the chair which was offered us to sit in was absolutely filthy. The only good thing about the Carvery was the meat. The serving area was awash with misguided vegetables that hadn’t been cleared in hours. Won’t return

The staff were very friendly and helpful with my food allergy. The vegan burger I had was tasty with a good-sized portion of chips.

Carvery was lovely…. Very fresh and lots to choose from. The venue itself needs updating substantially. It’s very shabby inside and the chairs in the bar have got holes in fabric and springs gone. Such a shame to see it in such disrepair

Once again this place has got it wrong .

My partner and I visit this pub every other Saturday morning to have breakfast! We always make sure that we are there in the car park, waiting for the doors to open at 9am!! The staff are helpful, efficient and always willing to help especially the lady who always greets us with a smile at the bar and Carl, the Chef who is cheerful!!

Me and my family come here every week for a breakfast and we are greeted all the time with a big smile and a hello from all staff. The food is amazing and we wouldn’t choose anywhere else to eat.

Cozy atmosphere when I came by the one time and this lovely manager called Chloe was just a delight to talk and very accommodating.

Very unwelcoming and quite frankly not fit for service! It's a shame as the food was lovely, unfortunately the staff and manager have let it down completely it was also filthy! And furniture was broken!!!! Rushed service only had an hour to from arriving and were very very rude!

It is so good to find a pub that is not a restaurant disguised as a pub. The Plume of Feathers is a real country pub, family run by Landlady Shirley. great selection of beers and spirits, Shirley or James another family member are so friendly and welcoming behind the bar and always up for a laugh and chat. no hot food at the present but a good selection of Wyre pie company pork pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs vegan also. If you're visiting Castlemorton it's a pub you have to try it's also dog friendly.

Love me a good carvery, shame about the powercut today but that aint your fault, we will come enjoy your beef next week!

The food was nice however the rest of experience was absolutely abysmal. When we arrived the manager who was at the desk, did not even look at us or acknowledge us. After advising we had a booking she walked off to a nearby table, we shortly realised we were to follow. We then ordered drinks at the bar and the glasses were disgustingly dirty to the point where we couldn’t drink one of the drinks. When ordering food we asked to use a voucher we have in the app, when the bartender asked the manager to authorise the voucher she sharply said “you’ll have to wait” like a I said food was then nice. The restaurant was also uncomfortably hot and we had to keep popping outside to cool down. Furthermore when taking my children to get their bottomless ice cream a team member was “shining” the cutlery under the toppings of the ice cream. The ice cream was not frozen and was almost completely liquid then we were unable to get the small amount of 1 topping available as the huge tub of cutlery was in the way and the member of staff did not wish to move it when asked politely. Absolutely appalled. The whole place was also filthy.

Carvery could have been a lot better beef very fatty not up to your usual standard hopefully next time we come it's a lot better

Really tasty carvery including a dessert on the special was really good value for money and I would certainly recommend it if your in the area. The staff are also very polite and helpful too

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. I was complimented, the locals were abit stiff but full of quirks! I watched a man lift a table over his head and a lady juggle some roasties. I enjoyed a 4-5 pints and ate a massive carvery. The eggs are incredible. Fantastic parking.

I had a delivery and it was very disappointing The cauliflower was so mushy o thought it was mashed potato. Too much peas and carrots and loads of onions Very poor value. The man that delivered it bought me a box of doughnuts as he got the order mixed up and had to look through his boot to find my order. The food was stone cold and he out it on the door step instead of handing it to me. His English was very poor and I couldn’t understand what he was saying Very disappointing experience all round Not professional like Toby cavery or Hillfield farm

What a absolute dump don't think they own a vacuum or polish.the food was terrible would not recommend to anybody the Bradford Arms is better than here and that's saying something wouldn't eat here if it was free not value for money not anything .

First time coming here from our usual carvery and was very very disappointed. Felt very rushed out not welcoming at all staff seemed to want us out as to close. Times do say 10pm close but its was 7:45pm and atmosphere changed. Will not be eating here again I can understand it may have been a long day but it's not an excuse for an unwelcoming attitude. Must say really really disappointed with the experience.

App stopped working so had to order at the bar, I asked the barmaid for a pint of Carling, I got a pint of Stella instead, starter i ordered was pizza pin wheels and I received chicken wings and chicken in breadcrumbs. I asked that same barmaid for my receipt and she just walked off. I want allowed to get the carveries I ordered because I didn’t have the receipt, so back to the bar to get my receipt. Thankfully I got it that time, sure enough on the receipt it said carling don’t know I was given Stella and pizza wheels was on the receipt and I’ve absolutely no idea why I was given chicken instead. Also me and my friends was waiting ages for the starters, 3 times i tried to call the waitress as she was about to walk past but just ignored me and walked past all 3 times. Frozen vegetables it should have been fresh. Chefs ignored me while I was waiting for the carvery so they could clean up the mess at the carvery. Terrible service.

Nice pub and good bar but the best thing about this place will always be the carvery. 3 meats to choose from which are always nice and you tend to receive good portions. All the trimmings are also nice but the roasties are a cut above. So crispy 10/10

Popped in for 1st time for a Carvery. Unfortunately, there is no real ales on tap but good quality pint of Guinness. Carvery was good (3 choice of meats) and roast potatoes were best I've had at a Carvery.
