Great place, good choice of beers, good food, (sirloin ciabattas), lovely beer garden, with great views. This is a community-run pub and it shows in the staffs' commitment and good service.

Found the community owned pub after visiting Malvern. A lovely old fashioned pub with a great decor. There is a beer garden with stunning views over the hills. I had a pint of Nightjar followed by a pint of Pigs Ear. The Nightjar was very much like a Guinness but with a sharper flavour. The Pigs Ear was a lovely real ale with a sweet flavour. On the food front we shared the fish fillet sandwich with Chunky chips. £6.95 . This was plenty for 2 small eaters. There was an extensive menu. I would highly recommend a visit. There's quite a history associated with the pub. Check the opening times.

Since its takeover by a local community buyout this pub has become one of my absolute favourites. There is always a great selection of well kept cask ales, usually from Worcestershire or neighbouring counties, as well as ciders and craft lagers. The food is superb pub-grub, unpretentious and ridiculously good value for money. Take note of food service times and don't be late, as they often run out. Views from the garden are splendid. It's well worth the walk from Great Malvern or Colwall stations.

We came here as a large group of hikers and had pre booked a platter of sandwa and chips to have in the little outhouse. There was a slight mix up on when we wanted them but when we got there the chef quickly got to work and made a delicious selection of sandwiches for us. We had loads to go around and having our own space was great. There was a good selection of drinks available and all the staff were really helpful.

We came to this wonderful pub for a Sunday lunch on a recommendations from friends nearby. It is a community ran pub and it is certainly not big. But compact as it may be it was indeed very busy on a windy Sunday with walkers, dogs and families. The food was excellent and well priced too, we had the roast sirloin lunch, soup and olives with bread. The tea and hot chocolate was amazing. We had lunch before our walk so didn't get to the desserts. We had hoped to walk back to Brewers Arm for dessert, but our stomachs were still full! Next time.

Popped up a few months back for a couple pints and had such an amazing time. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A couple of guys even got guitars out and had a little sing song. We have been up a fair few times since and it always has the same atmosphere. After being sent a photo from a friend last week of the lunch they had, I HAD to try it for food too and was not disappointed. I had a steak and stilton pie which was devine, served with chunky chips and fresh veg, and my partner had battered hake which again was absolutely amazing! The only thing to be aware of is that we got there for midday and by 1230 it was full. I will deifnitely be back up and will definitely eat there again!

I’ve visited here a few times now and always been impressed. Visited solo on a walk early December and was made to feel very welcome by a couple of locals. The beer was well kept and there was a good choice. I had a small lunch there too, and the sausage sandwich was fantastic! Fair prices. Visited again more recently on New Year’s Eve about 10pm whilst on a walk. Bar staff very friendly and service efficient. Good beer again. Thoroughly recommend a stop by this pub. It’s not far to walk from the ridge at all. The Brewers is likely my favourite of Malvern’s pub offerings, and there are some good ones.

Came here with the intention of eating. Checked the online sample menu which is posted on the pubs website before visiting but when I turned up the menu was nothing like the sample which was a shame. Decided not to eat because didn't like the sound of anything on the menu so decided to just have a drink instead, the actual menu did not resemble the sample in any way that was uploaded to the pubs website. Noticed that one of the locals ordered something not on the menu and it was delivered personally by the chef(male), I assumed it to be the chef as the man had a kitchen apron on. They both seemed to know each other very well, perhaps that's why they were allowed to order something they preferred and not on the menu. It seems that this is a community owned pub, owned by the community for the local community or that's how the menu appeared as if they catered for the shareholders rather than visitors from further afield. In a lovely location on the Malvern Hills, parking quite difficult but possible in a nearby lay-by a few minutes walk away.

The Brewer's Arms in west Malvern is off the road, so quiet and cosy. in the unseasonably warm October sunshine we enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch of roast beef, and salmon with shrimps in brown butter sauce. Everything was simply cooked but to perfection, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Starters looked good and puddings again were straightforward and delicious - e.g. vegan cherry bakewell with raspberry sauce. All dishes were beautifully presented, staff were friendly and although there was a reasonably long wait between ordering and being served, we were in no hurry and it gave us time to soak up the sunshine and amazing view of the countryside from the lower garden area. Definitely recommend a visit! (N.B. no booking, so don't leave it too late if you want to have a full choice).
