Fantastic fresh fish, light crispy batter! Absolutely delicious, great friendly welcoming service. We went on the recommendation of the receptionist at Premier Inn and she was spot on!

Called completely on spec when visiting Bridlington. Drawn to the outside seating since it was a fine day and we had our little dog with us.. We ordered smaller portions since we’re pensioners with reduced appetites these days. I can honestly say that they were the loveliest fish and chips we’ve had in ages! We’ll certainly be heading back to Harbourview Fisheries on our next visit! Thank you.

I used to visit Harbour Fisheries as a child on holidays to Bridlington with my family, and as such it holds a special place in my heart. I was lucky to find fine weather today, and the mini fish and chips were beautifully fresh, beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious! The service was friendly - food served with a smile - and I’m seriously considering going back tomorrow for lunch before my journey home!

Possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. Fresh fish, lots of crispy batter and no greasiness. Just the right amount of well cooked chips. All the family were impressed. As an aside, the seagulls seem well trained and behaved impeccably throughout our meal!

This chippy is extra special, beautiful Fish & Chips, absolutely gorgeous, had the same meal at many seaside resorts (and at home) nothing compares to these guys, also the staff are fab, we only visit them around 2/3 times a year on our holidays, as do not live nearby, their fish is beautiful, white & delicious, the batter is light, crunchy & tasty, the chips are fabulous too, myself & my Partner always look forward to going there for lunch when visiting there, it’s outside too, which we love.

We've visited this place a few times now when in Bridlington, so it deserves my review. The fish and chips we have eaten on every occasion have been spot on. Nice white fish, crispy batter and not greasy. Chips seem to be cooked well. Plus we have always had quick, pleasant service. It can sometimes be hard to find good fish and chips at the seaside, this is a good one in my opinion. Great place to sit out if the weather is fine and it's not too busy. Just beware of the seagulls at certain times of the year. On my list of good eats.

We went here because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. There are a lot of choices to go in Bridlington but this must be one of the best if not the best. Not too clear which door to go in but the service is prompt and friendly, the food was hot, tasted great and was a good sized portion. Chips are really good but the fish is the star. Best mushy peas I have had in ages too. Cross the road with your fish n chips and you are on the beach, what more could you ask for?

My wife and I stopped for fish and chips here, while visiting Bridlington. Didn't think it would be as good as it was. We had a portion of fish and mushy peas and a fish, chips and mushy peas. I am pleased to say that it was absolutely delicious. Good portion size, extremely fresh Icelandic cod; the mushy peas were delicious and the chips were cooked to perfection. The price was about the same as anywhere else. We will certainly come here again. Super lovely fish and chips.

Myself and my wife had a fantastic lunch here. There is seating outside, it can be busy as the food is great, and well worth waiting for a seat. The staff are lovely, professional, friendly and polite. The portions are just right, so no wasting food. The food is great, full of flavour and filled me for the rest of the day. Would recommend it here to anyone visiting Bridlington and going down the harbour.

Went to this one after reading other reviews.So glad we did.The haddock was cooked to perfection - large, white, absolutely fresh and nicely battered. A real birthday treat 23/06/20. As a Yorkshireman and ex fish fryer, I know how good fish & chips should be cooked. Too many places serve pale flaccid chips and not much fish in a lot of batter. Harbour Fisheries serve crisp golden chips and a generously large fish in super batter - crisp, golden, dry with no greasy oil. The secret ? They use beef dripping and not cheap catering vegetable oil. Perfect!

We visit Bridlington quite a few times each year and have tried pretty much every fish and chip shop in town over the years. The Harbour continues to be the very best and, if it's open, is the only place we will go now. The fish is superb, the batter to die for and the staff always pleasant and very helpful. The peas aren't half bad either.

We had a family day out at Brid yesterday and had fish and chips at Harbour Fisheries. They were GORGEOUS ! The batter was crisp and tasty and the haddock was thick and succulent, the chips were thick cut and just right. The food was cooked to order so was really fresh. The portions were generous and good value for money. The staff were really friendly but very efficient and quick - the proprietor even gave us a free sausage for the dog! If you’re going to Brid give them a try, they’re in the harbour so easy to find, you won’t regret it.

Popped onto the harbour with our granddaughter and feeling peckish, we bought fish and chips here. I had the pop corn fish (bite sized fish pieces) and my wife had the mini fish and chips. The batter was nice and light and crisp. The haddock was fresh and the chips hot, plentiful and tasty. We also had a couple of cans of pop. Total price was a very reasonable £11ish. We were on our family holiday to Cayton bay and spent a good few hours in Bridlington , after forgetting to bring our dinner that we left in the caravan we decided to seek out some takeaway food, after a good walk around we found ourselves finding some seats available in this fish and chip shop, I got fish cake and chips, the 2 kids got just chips and wife and mother in law got fish cake in a bun. Once ordered it only took a few minutes to arrive and we all enjoyed our food, my 8 year old especially liked helping her self to the tomato sauce which was self service which I think is a great touch as other places would charge just for a little sachet, would happily go there again.

On a day trip on a sunny day so wanted a takeaway to eat by the harbour. Both my wife and I had a mini fish and chips for £4.10. It was well cooked and a very good sized portion. The batter was great and the fish was very white and flaky. Chips were nice golden brown and the meal was not greasy at all. The service was fast and friendly and all looked very clean. Best fish and chips we have had in a long time and very good value. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our lunch of fish, chips and mushy peas - all the more because it was a glorious sunny day and it was good to sit and gaze at the harbour and people strolling by. Really a takeaway with a few outdoor tables, and all a bit basic. No pots of tea or sliced white bread, but bread rolls and tea from a machine are available. No sparkling water (but then no-one on the front seems to stock it). The haddock, though a bit thin, was beautifully moist and tasty in its crisp batter, and importantly, cooked to order. The chips were chips and mushy peas as standard. One of many, but no complaints.

After queuing for a while as it busy, got to the til to find they don't take cards... Seriously its 2019 and we practically live in a cashless society... So I ran off to get cash and started the queuing process again.

Out of all the Fish and chip shops we decided to try here , great view by the harbour but also they do a small fish and chips which is great value , fresh and very tasty also Our dog Henry enjoyed the crispy batter and the fish and some chips. We have been eating here once or twice a year as we can’t get to Brid as often as we like. But we traveled from Nottingham today (30/04/2019), and once again the meal was fantastic.

Food was excellent, however I was upset to see a man with poo on his head enter the premises, put on an apron then serve my food!

Food is brilliant and as fresh as can be. The staff are all friendly and are pleased to meet new people no matter the age and provide a good and genuine customer service. To say the food is cooked to order your food arrives within about 5 minutes of ordering (depending on the number in your party). Overall Harbour fisheries is sure the place to eat at in the bridlington area and would highly recommend the eatery to anyone.

We decided to visit Bridlington on our way home to Suffolk after a short break near Whitby, quick internet hunt for best fish and chip shops and here we were.

Proper fish and chips as they should be, affordable in price. Friendly staff, they do extremely well in such a busy fish and chip shop. If there’s one chippy to go in Bridlington it’s Harbour Fisheries. Great location also being right on the harbour front... just mind the seagulls!!

A day trip to the seaside is never complete without fish n chips and these were the best I can remember having. It was late in the day and the shop was closing up but they fired up the fryer again especially for us. Chips were perfectly cooked and lovely crispy batter on the fresh fish. Even gave us a pot of curry sauce for free! Absolutely brilliant!

By happy chance we stopped here for lunch. Sat in the lovely warm sunshine facing the harbour front and had the best fish n chips we have had for a long time. Beautiful fresh haddock in light crisp, bubbly batter served piping hot by a very pleasant and chatty young lady, probably Natalie. Proper home made mushy peas too and a big portion for £1. Lots of places to buy fish n chips in Bridlington but I can certainly recommend Harbour Fisheries. They even gave a cooked sausage to our dog free of charge. We have used the place for a few years now, in my opinion the food is excellent. Treat yourselves the next time you are on the harbour at Bridlington.

What can I say but absolutely brilliant service from Mark & Natalie, very welcoming & polite & even had treats for our dog milly. The fish and chips were made to order & piping hot, delicious doesn't do it justice the best we've had in a long long time. Visited here yesterday as it looked so inviting & we weren’t disappointed. The food was served hot & fresh. A nice touch was the treat for our dog. We all went away happy.

Proper fish and chips cooked in dripping together with a nice cup of tea and a treat for the dog. What could be better. I'd be back every Friday if it wasn't 200 miles away.

I’m picky when it comes to fish and chips. I love my local one and nothing can ever top it - apart from this one is definitely on par!! Service was 100% food was 100% - we ordered mini fish and chips and it was more than enough for one!

A must for lovers of the great fish and chips. We always have our fish and chips here when we visit Bridlington. The young lads who serve are always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The smaller portion is ideal for children and pensioners not wanting a huge pile of chips. An added bonus is the small seating area to the front, it can get very busy but it’s worth the wait to be able to sit at a table and have salt and vinegar to hand.
