Had a takeaway from here and the portion was tiny (tofu). Wouldn’t go again

We don't have a Chinese often, but when we do we always use the Happy Valley. The food is always very good and the staff are friendly.

Much better than Lee's garden. Got a free tango! :D

Called in for a takeaway, ordered beef curry, fried rice, portion of mushrooms and egg foo young £25. didnt mind paying that as we have eaten here before and it was nice. The food was greasy and tastless even the curry it all went in the bin. Will never go back there again.

Not great quality all in all. The chicken in black bean sauce was very watery and the chicken was rubbery and tasteless. It wasn’t terrible quality I just feel like I have had better for the prices they charge.

Waited an hour and half delivery for eggless egg fried stodgy bland rice, hard dry chips and mediocre ribs. Will not be back. Very disappointed. Not worth the money at all

All the food is watery, with no flavour and the Thai food is just Chinese food.

Appalling! We were tempted by all the great reviews. - none of which came to fruition. We ordered 7 dishes, all were bland, insipid and has a revolting slimy consistency. After only a few bites the whole lots went into the bin!!! If I could leave zero stars I would! Avoid!!

Tatseless "egg" fried rice, may I suggest more egg (I found 2 tiny pieces in 2 portions) and add some soy sauce, bland and dry, chips were dry. BBQ sauce tasted slightly off. Curry sauce was very hot (should have chilli rating) won't be back.

The food quality is average, they only offer take away… BUT they do not give forks nor napkins and when I ask for one, I was offered a piece of toilet paper. REALLY? Beyond belief

After reading through the reviews I decided to try this Chinese and ordered for delivery. The delivery was fast the food was nice and hot . Everything I ordered had lots of flavour and generous portions . I recommend this Chinese and my experience with them today was definitely a good one, I will definitely use again next time I feel like Chinese food .

Friendly staff, fast service. Food was one of the better Chinese takeaways in the area so will be going back soon. Just needs better website/online menu visibility.

Got a takeaway from here before my bus home and would highly recommend the chicken chow mein and satay sauce. Crispy chilli chicken is to die for. Will definitely be back and to eat in next time

The lady who took our phone order and served me upon collection was absolutely lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The food was disappointing for us though, the fried rice didn't really have much flavour and neither did the chow main we ordered. We had loads left over because we weren't keen on most of it. Chicken balls were amazing though!

Worst Chinese i ever had very watery and no flavour beef was very tough 3/4 of the chips where inedible small crispy bits rock hard will never use again only nice bit was the free prawn crackers.

Moved to liphook 2yrs ago. The door started off well and then slowly declined. Food got worse and was cold on collection ! Will never eat there again .

Disappointing meal. 2 hour wait at Lee Garden and 30 mins at the unhappy valley and can see why. What a mistake. Dishes were either bland, rice was congealed, egg rice was vastly inferior, prawns were mushy certainly not fresh. staff are very polite and a shame that the food quality is simply so poor compared to Lee garden and top chef in the village.

Had bad take away from here 3 years ago and tried again. No improvement. Worst meal in 3 years. Never going again and so bad i feel compelled to share. Yuk!

We were The only two customers dining in so service from the staff was very attentive. starters were great - spare ribs and lamb. main courses were tasty but perhaps a bit more onion then we would really have liked. cost for two with Chinese tea £45.

We always order one of the set menus - great value, consistent quality. The owner is always friendly and happy to see us. It's a shame we are usually the only customers to sit in the restaurant but they clearly have a thriving takeout business Would recommend

If you like bland food than this is the place for you! No taste whatsoever. Really disappointed in wasting my money in here. Curry sauce literally tasted like dish water.

Unfortunately leaving a minus or 0 star review isn't a possibility. Honestly vomit inducing, cold soggy chips and curry that honestly tasted like human excrement was an ingredient. I threw the lot in the bin.

Sadly disappointed and will never eat here again, curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce is like water without a hint of flavour, so is the bland beef in black bean sauce. Never had a Chinese this bad ever👎. I should of listened to the last review and saved my £30! They seriously need to train there chef's in producing food with some flavour! Avoid!

Ordered the most amazing thing ever last night! Pork and chicken Chow Mein in a barbecue sauce to take out. The tub was full and beautifully presented with the chicken and pork slices layered on top and full to the brim of the noodles and sauce. Very happy with the friendly service (Amy). Will be a returning customer 👌🏼

We ordered from here whilst staying at Old Thorns hotel nearby. Lovely hot, tasty food. It was a Sunday night and they would have delivered but were very busy so we collected it. Easy to park as there’s a public car park almost opposite. Clean restaurant and friendly staff, would use again.We had an array of dishes and meats and all of it was yummy.

Didn't stay for food. Service that bad that it did not deserve the wait. Wanted to make two changes to set eat in menu and told not possible even though I was willing to pay the full menu price difference. Very unhelpfull. Upon leaving they must have overheard me say we will go to petersfield as we were walking out the door the waitress said "where are you going,? Tia tong? They are my friends," of course we opted for Indian.

Recently had a take away from here whilst we stayed at the Old Thorns hotel nearby.Decent good food. Piping hot was delivered to our room.Tasty beef,tasty prawns. Not so good pork or chicken sadly.Will have food from there again but will choose accordingly.

Don’t know what’s happened in the last month but tonight’s Meal was shocking! Tasteless and bland, chow mien was stringy and the curry was like water!

Great service and incredible food. My entire family loved it and get takeaways all the time. Not entirely sure how people can say the food is tasteless.

The Chinese was awful felt instanstly sick from the smell and the food just wasn’t nice even the curry sauce which I love was tasteless and looked anemic, won’t be going back and I don’t recommend anyone else too! Vile food and chips tasted like washing up liquid and the chicken satay lets just say I wouldn’t give that to my dog!

If you had been open wouldn't have had the crap experience of Petersfield. Lemon grass food great but yummy mummys spoiling it 30 quit a head food served in a nursery :( 7.30 in the evening no way never again.,

I came here with my parents and children for a family meal. The food was average but what annoyed me was that the service was soooo slow. We were waiting for ages for each meal to be brought out. I had to go up to the desk to chase up some of the food. Unfortunately my parents are of the type that won't say anything about slow service and they were paying the main party of the bill so I kept relatively quiet but I won't be going back.

We visited as a family of four. A really good meal, good service and the bill was low. The business clearly runs on the back of its takeaway business but eating-in was good.

Always use this Chinese and they deliver really quickly. Great food. Have eaten in the restaurant too, friendly staff!

Now funny enough another customer came in around then, they managed to order and get food served before us wft!!! So the starters - my prawns came with a lemon. Wife's spring rolls came with umm no condiments. Was served oily prawn crackers. But all is not lost our mains chicken balls, egg fried rice with err not much egg, quarter fried duck was hot and tasted okay. Yet we had to let them know we only had about 1hr left to dine. Place needs a bit of an update to decor. I'm not one for Chinese so my review may not be the best. I like Thai and the Green Dragon would be my recommendation. But go try it. Definitely loud kid friendly

Visited here on a weekday evening. The service was excellent and food was great value and plenty of it and very tasty too. We will be back.

Kids love it here either takeaway or eat in. It is a good basic Chinese food. Service is good and friendly and quick.

Now we do love Chinese food and it's rare to find anywhere locally that can match what you get in Town. We have often been so disappointed with the local offerings which previously varied from average to dire.

Made our order then got told she would phone us back as phone was ringing never got a phone call back so went elsewhere very bad phone service

We have had a lot of takeaways from the Happy Valley. They have al; been really fresh and excellent. There is an occasional wait but this is due to its popularity. The restaurant looks jolly and one must assume the same standard of food is served.

Worst food ever. Boyfriends been up all night being sick. Prawn toast was so greasy. Food was tasteless. Wouldn't recommend at all.

By far one of the nicest Chinese's I have been to for a long time. Food was outstanding tasted Devine, and was delivered fresh and quick, would definitely recommend this restaurant to others! Would strongly recommend chicken chow main, smoke chicken or crispy aromatic duck! Thank you for our lovely meal :)

This is my favourite takeaway in Liphook,not only is it lovely food, its great value too. The staff are always lovely and a couple of times I've been unable to get cash in the village but they are always understanding and kind when I go back in. I regularly order the same food and I cannot get the same quality anywhere else. I've eaten in all the Chinese takeaways in the area and this is by far my favourite! The Salt and Pepper chicken and satay sauce is particularly delicious! The food is also very reasonably priced too so I'd definitely recommend them as both a sit-in restaurant or as a takeaway 5*

First time we've tried this Chinese. Order arrived promptly, and the portions were enormous, so despite three very hungry customers, we'll be eating leftovers for the next two nights!Recommended.

Getting a Chinese takeaway was our solution to getting home late to find no food in the house. Hot and sour soup and salt and pepper chicken are our go to favourites but this time we also tried Singapore-style rice and sweet and sour king prawns. Interesting dishes and always delicious!

We thought it would be lovely to pop out for a Chinese and this restaurant is local with pretty good reviews . Sadly we were most disappointed. We left a message on their answer phone to reserve a table however no one called back and we had to call a second time.On arrival we were shown to our table. I expected chop sticks but had a spoon and fork only which seemed odd. Perhaps it's just me? Having ordered our food and drinks the latter arrived after about 15 minutes but the starters seemed to take forever. These it is fair to say were reasonably good when they did eventually arrive. However we then waited around another 40+ minutes for the mains. These came out sporadically. As for the chop sticks we gave up after about 5 minutes as the food was getting cold but they did finally arrive after my husband and I had almost finished!On the plus side the waitress was lovely but even she seemed almost embarrassed about the delay in getting the food out and just kept asking us if we wanted any more drinks. Would I return....sadly no. Next time it will be a take away from elsewhere.

UNHAPPY VALLEY!! Food was crap absolutely tasteless! When called they ignored the phone after a number of calls we took a trip over to take the food back when questioned about calls they told us she was checking the numbers! Chicken was chewy, prawn toast was greasy, chicken balls were soggy, chips about 3 days old! Gave us part refund as apparently we'd eaten half which wasn't the case it was tried between 5 of us in order to determine if it was generally crap and it was! We'd spent over £50!! Avoid at all costs

Our first visit. The ambience was really nice and the food was of a good standard but could be improved by having hot plates to keep the food hot or delivering all food at the same time. It was bank holiday so not sure if this was the reason for only one individual front of house but this did affect service. Although room for improvement, we will be returning.

We use Happy Valley on the odd occasion, either being delivered to the door or collecting ourselves. It's always great food, great choices and not bad value either. It takes no more than 40 mins on a busy night from ordering to getting it delivered, sometimes only 20 mins. We can always rely on takeaways from this restaurant - definitely happy to recommend it.
