Happy Spoon Ingleby Barwick in Stockton-on-Tees

My partner and I opt to visit Happy Spoon each year as our choice for birthday cakes. Today we visited for my partners birthday treat. My partner had rainbow cake with bubblegum sauce and I chose salted caramel cake with toffee sauce. Absolutely beautiful, as always. We were also offered a taster from the lovely woman at the counter of the new Chimney cake that they do. It was lovely, so we also had one of them with the sprinkles and Nutella. Can’t beat for a lovely naughty treat.

This is good Icecream but the toppings are 85p each!!! Also the workers didn’t total the price right. I’ve had so many bad experience with the workers and in my ice cream there is different topping that I asked for.

We’ve been calling here once or twice a month for around a year, usually with our granddaughter. The review prior to this one refers to the rudeness that customer found and we witnessed the same first hand today. Trying to sort ourselves a table out and literally shouted at by who we think is the owner. Ice cream, teas and cakes all lovely. Pity the customer service isn’t. We walked out without ordering. We are both way too old to be spoken to as if we were naughty school children. It’s never seemed busy enough to be able to put regulars off. We won’t be going back.

The ice cream flavours and toppings are delicious cant get enough of them but staff are extremely rude they snatch the debit of my friend because she didn’t know how to use because it’s her first time and she charged my for 1 topping and I said I had 2 she said no rudely and gave me to little change and had a go at me for not telling her. Love this dessert shop. Joe is fantastic. Always warm, welcoming and professional. Waffles and ice creams are amazing. Our whole family loves it. I'm glad we have a top dessert shop in our locality.

Always great service, opted for the delivery today. Same fantastic service, quicker than expected and food same quality as in store.
