I definitely recommend happy house, each time we’ve ordered from happy house we’ve been a happy house! Food is delicious and the super quick delivery.

My previous review has somehow been removed. My lunch order was given to me with a large black hair in one dish. Poor hygiene, do not use!

This has been our local for year and love it. Lately it has become a lottery what you receive. One out of ten meals being bad is getting too much. Sadly Changing my takeaway

Took 1.5 hours to arrive and the driver couldn’t even find my road, then got rude when he needed directions. Welcome to the digital age, there is no excuse to get lost trying to find a road. Also they always ask for cash, you can guess why! PAY BY CARD.

Ordered take away - great selection of food and really tasty dishes. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended

We had a special delivery today to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish from the lady taking our order to the driver delivering it. The food arrived hot and on time and the whole range of dishes were delicious.

I’ve tried nearly all the Chinese takeaways in Redhill and Happy House is hands down the best. Chinese takeaway is my fav so that’s high praise from me! Huge portions and great service. I won’t ever use another Chinese takeaway while I’m living in Redhill

For a change i thought i wold have a Chinese as a treat because its expensive for 1 to have all the nice tings i normally eat it for 2 days and so do the dogs , i use them if having a Chinese takeaway delivered his would only a couple of times a year. Last nigh was terrible took an hour and i called at 5 as they opened . At best the rice and noodle were ok but crispy and hard around the edge like the pot was microwaved for too long and the sauces well they cant really mess up out of packets and a can , but the spare rib were hard and just bone these were binned as not edible i had sweet and sour chicken and king prawns balls well the batter was like concrete on one end and a sponge full of dripping burned smelling old oil on the other this was something to do with the way they were stacked in the bags. As the prawns were £6 a portion , by the time the goo was stripped off i had 8 little prawns. I can get a huge bag in iceland for that, the chicken that was a grey/ black coloured lump, i gave to the dog. . never again will i waste my money in this place, £28 for a cold rubbish takeaway ! And why is it the delivery drivers never have any change ?

I don't normally do this but they chose the wrong day. I ordered very clearly they replied back very clearly twice what I ordered, they sent the wrong thing. They said they would send out a replacement for what I ordered and keep what they sent by mistake. then a rude man came to my door barking orders in a language I couldn't understand! I let him take his food back with him and gave him a lesson in manners, they have lost a customer who has been using them for 15 years even after they got re opened a few years back! Food OK, if you pick it up! Delivery quick was quick food bad very dry! Service?!? Disgusting never had this before! Won't get the chance to do it again!.. Your drive is a disgusting man!

We have used Happy House several times before and always enjoyed the food, however on this occasion the food arrived within 15 mins and it normally takes 45 mins normally, we live 10 mins away from Happy House so we were very surprised how quick it came. The order had been taken down wrong and three items were incorrect. I ordered some spare ribs with chilli and salt and instead we were given chips with chilli and salt, I put this down to not hearing properly over the phone, as well as the mixed veg with satay sauce I ordered and was just given mixed veg, then I also ordered two vegetarian pancake rolls and they had given us chicken inside the pancake rolls so they was inedible for me as I don’t eat meat. The food quality was not to a high standard at all. The smoke shredded chicken was tough and dry like it had been reheated several times, and the general taste overall was not nice, I couldn’t finish the food and in the end we put it all in the bed. To top that off, we both had portly tummies for the next 24 hours so I definitely will not be ordering from them again. Poor quality food on this occasion but it’s put us off from eating their food and will try another Chinese takeaway from now on. Just thought people should be aware when deciding on a local Chinese takeaway.

We had £90 worth of food this evening and it was delicious. The guy on the phone was friendly and efficient. We had a couple of special requests and were very impressed to receive everything exactly as ordered. Everything was fresh and hot and we were able to pick up in 20 minutes. Would highly recommend.

I ordered £35 worth of food over the phone and got the shredded chicken as part of it. The chicken looks like it has been left dry for a few days and re-fried multiple times. Absolutely disgusting, won't be re visiting

Ordered from here last Friday and it is genuinely the best chinese I've had. Delivery was quick and food was delicious.

I was apprehensive about ordering from here due to the reviews on this place but there was nowhere else open so I thought I would give it a try and I must say I am so pleasantly surprised. The food is amazing and the lady on the phone was lovely. I'm not sure why the reviews are saying the lady is rude but she was so nice on the phone to me and although her English wasn't the best, she was very polite and accomodating to the changes I wanted to make to my meal. I will be ordering from here again.

I live in caterham and travel to Redhill to collect, that's enough to express how good this place is, you can tell they use good fresh quality food, I have tried many places in caterham, keenly and purely and none are as good.

I ordered a delivery from there last night and had the best chinese food! The delivery was quick and contactless and the driver left the food on my doorstep and waited for me to open my door before leaving. My favourite dish is the house special chow mein. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Picked up a couple of takeaways from here recently. Very friendly. Better to ring and collect if you're hungry as there can be a bit of a wait for delivery. However, delivery times are accurate. Reasonably priced and they will sometimes do off menu items.

Useless woman on the till messed up my order after repeating it back to me, then when I questioned something missing stated I hadn't ordered. Very rude, no apology, actually mimicked what I'd said. Disgusting attitude towards customers, food overpriced and so not worth the experience. Plenty of other takeaways nearby who have basic respect for people and are far more competent.

Absolutely disgraced by this. I ordered £35.00 worth of takeaway. I didn’t get 3 of my dishes which I have paid for. What we collected was cold, dry and no flavour. I am fuming. Fuming, fuming, fuming. These guys are a complete disgrace. Everyone must avoid. When I called to complain, they put the phone down on me and claimed I had ordered something different even though my receipt says different

Ordered a take away by phone, specified that 1 dish should not contain peppers or chilli due to allergy, and despite going over the order twice it still arrived with peppers and chilli, For myself I ordered a curried chicken dish, what arrived was pre cooked chicken pieces with a bought in sauce poured over the top .over priced rubbish!

I have been using Happy House for over 10 years sometimes three times a week. There has been a staff change for someone who obviously finds English difficult, ordering a takeaway requires constant repetitive confirmation of an order, then to hear the confirmation over and over again, this I can handle. I made a simple order of two items of which one of them was incorrect on opening when I returned home. I called the restaurant to discuss the incorrect order and was basically told I always do this and should go elsewhere. I rang again to speak to the owner about the incorrect order and the rude staff, I got one word repeated yes, yes, yes, yes. I replied do you not think an apology is in order, I got thank you and he hung up. I am done with Happy House.

we love the Happy House, we come back again and again. The children are crazy for it. The crispy duck pancakes were amazing and the duck with orange too. Highly recommended.

Excellent food service quick and food is hot and tasty love there noodles and egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls ate delirious as is the sauce that cones with it

He dicho seguro, y dijo que quizás menú de moda en línea. De todos modos yo ya había comprometido los seguí. Terminó con 2 rollos pancake no había pedido, que explica el coste extra. Llamé de vuelta y me dijeron que no les pida. Quizás me olvidé de que detesto rollos pancake y pensé, bueno, por qué no, enfermo pedir algo no me gusta esta noche por bants.

Had a hankering for a couple of Chines dishes we hadn't had in years. Singapore noodles and a Chinese curry. Both dishes were not as we remembered, bland, tasteless and the curry was very gloopy, way too much cornflour thickener. Disappointing.

This rating would have been excellent had the Pork Balls been slightly less dry.

I absolutely love duck and egg fried rice. I will say it was well cooked. I really enjoyed the meal i would recommend the Chinese to anyone.

Completamente decepcionados por el servicio ayer por la noche. Ordenados de ellos por primera y última vez. Pedimos 5 platos y sólo 4. Llamado la tienda y prometieron dejar otro plato. Nunca apareció y cuando nos llamaron otra vez nos dijeron que ahora que el plato tendido y había sido entregado. Estoy indignado con este servicio ya que tenían arruinó lo que debía ser una noche romántica. Absolutamente indignado.

Roast pork fried rice had large pieces of pork in, sweet and sour chicken balls were nicely cooked and not stodgy, spring roll was big and very tasty, well worth the money

Happy house is our favourite Chinese takeaway in Redhill. Food is delicious and portion sizes fab. Prices are the best around and it has a food hygiene rating of 5. We often get a delivery and I must say they are always on time if not earlier, would totally recommend.

Fresh, hot Chinese takeaway, reasonably priced too. Won Ton soup amazing and very generous crispy Duck portion. Highly recommend

Average take away, tried for the first time.My chicken fried rice was as good as most, but was disappointed by the small portion container ascompared with their competitors.This dish doesn't cost a lot to prepareso let's have value for money

They have a great ordering system where they have your address linked to your phone number and can tell you the cost straight away, always read it back to you to check your order, makes it really easy. & most importantly, always good food and friendly nice staff.

Ordered various dishes for six people, prompt delivery, very well prepared food, enough for far more people, had the leftovers the following day. Total bill £62.00, amazing value.

Just ordered a delivery and we always use happy house as we love the food. They made a mistake for the second time running. The so called manager turns up and tells us we can't order again and walks off. I cannot believe how rude the man could be. I will never order from this Chinese ever again. I'm fuming with the manor we was given.

Food is cooked fresh, delivered promptly (if or require) and the staff are very nice indeed. Things change a little when the family are away, but the food is still A1. Except for their ribs. Mr Lee does the best ribs.

Having been stuck in East Surrey Hospital watching the clock get closer and closer to midnight and my takeaway options narrowing by the minute towards the inevitable kebab I was delighted to see the light on in this Chinese takeaway at one minute to eleven. Pushing the door open expecting to be told they were shutting I was very pleasantly surprised to be ushered in and given as much time to order as required. I only wanted a Singapore rice noodles ( extra spicy ) and was served with a reasonably priced enormous portion , which tasted wonderful.
