Really good food working close by so 8 lads all just been and got various dishes all happy can’t understand the bad reviews on Google to be honest, lady serving was very nice and polite , only waited about 20 minutes aswell, don’t give 5 stars , 4 stars is a real compliment

The food used to be nice from the Happy Chef a few years ago but it's really gone downhill in recent times. Fatty BBQ Spare ribs, sweet & sour pork swimming in grease and chewy prawn crackers. Won't be sampling food from there again. Shame really as its local.

Tbh the food doesn't look the best but it's surprisingly tasty! One thing I noticed was when it's left too long then the food seems to have gone soggy from the condensation but atleast the packaging keeps the food warm! The people u meet when you go in to take your order are rlly nice and this chef and i didnt need to wait more than 10 minutes for the food, very speedy its cheap considering the rise in how much things cost aswell. I'd definitely come again

Great food until recently, and in these days of lockdown where we are encouraged to use contactless - they are charging a 50p surcharge for card payments which I have been told has been ILLEGAL for years. When I challenged this I was given a load of verbal abuse and my food was slightly undercooked (Possibly out of spite). Won't be going back until this changes.

Really POOR food quality. I asked for NOT SPICY roast duck in black been sauce. Unfortunately was SPICY and it was not a busy time. Never more.

Really disappointing to say the least . We had a Peking chilli beef and chicken . They both seemed to be full of vinegar , Rice vinegar maybe needed cooking off. Wasn't nice at all Prawn crackers were kind of chewy . Special friend rice was really dry . Not a flood experience at all unfortunately

Gave us 6spring rolls instead of sweet n sour chicken balls... Didn't find out till we got home n couldn't go back as we were baby sitting our grandson. Disappointing

Used to recommend this take away until now. Christmas eve, treated the family to a take away. Yes they were busy. Got food eventually. My daughter (8 years old) had food poisoning on Christmas day and spent all day in bed. She was the only one who ate sausage and had said it didn't taste nice. Husband didn't feel 100% in the night but was OK by Christmas morning. Christmas absolutely ruined and a devastated daughter.

I have just been to this chippy wont be going again .been going yrs .my daughter asked for chips an curry an she charged her nearly 10.00 when got order had chip an curry an a chip an gravy told her didnt want chip an gravy i dnt luke gravy .i asked for my money back an they said know .fuming aint the word .

Seen better looking and tastier chips in the casino, Ethiopians have more meat on them than the BBQ spare ribs. The chow mein noodles look like earth worms on a diet, and the curry has more spice in it than Manchester city centre. Criminals in solitary confinement would refuse it...

Used to go to Emperors Court restaurant for my Chinese fix. However since it closed looked for somewhere else. Only Happy Chef has succeeded in matching the high standard. Only Chinese in Northwich that I can recommend!!!

Food not bad, but make sure the ribs are cooked through, have had some that were cold in the middle. If you want really good chinese food go to the golden gate on west avenue. I do object to having to pay 50p for every card transaction here, no other takeaway charges for this.

If you want to eat badly cooked frozen chips then go here ... if you like nice properly cooked real chips go to tasty 2 blocks down .....
