We usually choose to stay at Premier Inns because of the quality of the rooms and the reception staff. But today, we had a very rude waitress at breakfast who accused us of sitting at a table without her permission. We actually had been shown to our table by her colleague a minute earlier. She then made us feel most unwelcome while we had our meal. We only decided to have breakfast at the hotel as I had my elderly mother with me. Next time, we'll avoid this hotel altogether.

Absolute disgrace, restaurant had 6 items on and 2 were out of stock. Rooms are standard, not good but not bad either, book as a last resort but don't pay for the meal deal as you will be disappointed

Rubbish, we were not informed that the pub/restaurant next door was due to close in a couple of days. They had a limited menu no draught beer and did not accept cash. The fish and chips were overpriced and of poor quality. A little communication prior to our visit would have helped as I received several emails asking me to book meals that basically did not exist. Have stayed at this place before with no problem which is why I booked it again. Not happy

Not the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed at. The carpet in the communal area was quite dirty. The room was too hot as it had the temperature set at 25 degrees on a day when it was 28 degrees. No usb sockets to charge phone TV did not line up with the bed. Generally looked quite shabby. No restaurant open for an evening meal or drink.

If you're visiting Chester, I would recommend this one because parking is free. There also is a bus stop outside, and the bus goes into the town centre. There is a Sainsbury's across the road for any supplies you may want

Stayed here for the week with work, picked this premier inn due to the amount of parking as I have a large van. Paid for meal deal but on the Monday morning received a call saying the pub next door is not offering evening meals only breakfast, they did offer me alternative accommodation and reimbursed the dinner money. At breakfast no orange juice and the guy said they have not been doing evening meals for 3 weeks but premier inn still offer it when you book,I mentioned this at reception in the evening but wasn't really bothered. The one morning the pub wasn't open for breakfast leaving angry contractors outside. Will be staying in the Travelodge with a Toby Cavery next to it next time I visit Chester.

Spartan rooms, no food available in the evenings from a dark and semi-deserted pub next door, breakfast horrible with yesterdays fruit salad and over cooked fried sausages (best to stick with cereal) and the car park is builders central with little to no room for private cars. even Reception have taken to printing out lists of local restaurants that deliver. This is now a run down dingy hotel.

I wish I saw that there was no air con before booking. The room is ridiculously warm resulting in hardly any sleep from either of us 😪.

The hotel was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly, shame the pub next door wasn't doing hot food though. Although the staff there couldn't apologise enough as they hadn't got enough staff to do meals.

Brilliant staff, comfortable bed, clean room. A little bit tatty in places, Premier Inn need to spend a bit of money on refurbishment, as the lovely staff deserve better.

Lovely, mid-week meal. Very attentive staff, who clearly had good relationships with their regular customers. Plentiful and comfortable seating, with toasty log burner on the go. Lovely range of food options, but not too long that it becomes overwhelming. Obviously homecooked food, which was served piping hot. We walked to the venue, but there is ample parking on site. Seems to be a nice outdoor seating area. Will definitely return.

Very disappointed. An Italian restaurant that doesn't do bolognese. Too overpriced

Chocolate fudge cake was amazing, the turkey roast dinner was better than school, and the carrots were full of flavour
